I'll be checking this out regardless of the promo. The cast is fantastic. Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd and Molly Shannon to name a few.
The movie is a classic, and this looks like it totally recaptures the feeling of it. It's rare that I laugh while watching a trailer, but this did it. I can't wait to binge it.
And that's the problem, they should have just left it at the movie. No one was wanting a TV series on it and if the show is like the promo, they had no idea how to torn this concept into a TV series. It's a waste of time and talent for everyone involved.
I had heard about the movie that became something of a cult classic and that it was really good but never got around to watching it, but will try to make a point to do so before I watch this. Excellent cast and it's obvious that they will be making fun of all the teen/camp movie tropes with gusto, so count me in.....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I've no idea what I just watched, but Archer quotes just kept popping into my head.
ReplyDeleteI like parodies, but this promo and show's premise doesn't appeal to me.

ReplyDeleteNo one saw the movie from 2002 ? Excellent movie, really ! Hope that the tv show'll be the same :)
ReplyDeleteWatched the movie last week, loved it. Looking forward to the series.
ReplyDeleteI liked the promo's style considering, but I'm not at all interested in this...
ReplyDeleteI was so interested in this series but after watching this trailer... I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what this is, but it looks so dumb that now I NEED to watch it.
ReplyDeleteNetflicks used to not do porno stuff. This porkys summer show has sin. Niece says to STAY AWAY from internet programs.

ReplyDeleteThis looks quite awesome and i really enjoyed the movie so i'm definitely going to check this out.
ReplyDeleteWow, this was bad. Rebooting for the sake of rebooting is not needed.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to catch the film as well but since this is a prequel, I think I'm gonna watch it after having seen the show.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like campy fun (I will not apologize for that lame pun). I'm surprised that managed to get all these big names together again.
