  1. Ditto. I would have voted for Heroes Reborn if it had been an option.

  2. XFiles, I think Twin Peaks is a riskier revival and has been off air long and who knows what it will be like.

  3. Heroes Reborn.

  4. Honestly Fuller house. I grew up with the show along with TFP of Beverly Hills and Family Matters and look forward to see if they can hit the same note

  9. Twin peaks drew me in quicker then the x files ever did. Creepy enough but somehow I couldn't get pulled into it. :p

  10. Both big cult shows & I did watch them both...years ago. But I was never as big a fan of Twin Peaks a I was about X-Files. Just not my cup of tea. So I am most excited about & voted for The X-Files.

  11. I feel like the magic of Twin Peaks will be a lot harder to recreate. It
was very much about the atmosphere. The X-Files was more about the
chemistry of the leads and they're both back.

  12. Looks like I am the only one who thinks that dead (shows) supposed to stay dead. Can't they come up with something new? Soon there will be only remakes, spinoffs, retools, revivals and shows no one has the balls to end.

  13. Definitely "Twin Peaks"...

  14. None of the above.

  15. I had to go with The X-Files simply because I spent so many years obsessed by it. I am trying to keep my expectations low since it's been nothing to get excited about for years, but oh if it does strike the original magic again. That would be something.

  16. I know - I am really looking forward to it but there is so much room for oopsies whereas X-Files should be a slam dunk.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I understand what you are saying but we poor human TV watchers love a dance with nostalgia for great things past and The X-Files and Twin Peaks are enticing re-visits.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Believe me, I have a lot of nostalgia attacks, but I don't even plan to watch missing episodes of shows that ended in 2000. I feel like I became too judgemental to enjoy them and it's not gonna be the same, so I choose to keep good memoirs of them.

  19. The X Files!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. I started working over internet, completing simple jobs which only require a computer and internet connection and I am happier than ever... It's been 6 months since i started this and i earned so far in total 36 thousand dollars... Basicly i make close to 80 bucks each hour and work for 3 to 4 h daily.Best part to whole this thing is that you can make your own schedule when you work and for how long and you get paid at the end of each week.<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  21. I really don't get that show. It's not funny to me.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I didn't watch it in a long time. But as said I grew up with it and as a kid I felt it to be funny. ^_^

  23. That's my vote too. The X-Files started my obsession with TV. I couldn't get enough. Then that drifted into Buffy and I've been hooked ever since.

  24. the x- files Duh

  25. I went from X-Files to Buffy as well. Those were the days. Buffy led to Roswell, Everwood, and then eventually Supernatural, which owned my TV heart until Jeremy Carver stomped on it. It's weird to not have a TV obsession anymore but I haven't found anything that grabs me as much as those shows did back in the day. Each of them introduced me to some new part of fandom.

  26. Yes they did. I even watched Everwood too. I miss those days. Though Justified and Banshee come really close for me. Supernatural still has my heart but it's really not the same under Carver. I've found I love a lot of S1 of several shows to the point of obsession but then S2 or S3 just fails. Like Sleepy Hollow and Prison Break. Maybe that's a topic of discussion for the Character Cup.

  27. I think I'm once bitten, twice shy about new shows these days. After the spectacular fail of Sleepy Hollow, even with shows I adored this season I'm half waiting for the other shoe to drop. I love this idea for a discussion topic. I've added it with another one I had down and it makes for a more rounded topic. Thanks.

  28. I was gonna say Heroes Reborn

    ReplyDelete
  29. X-Files!!!! The Twin Peaks revival is interesting but the original show was only one season so there isn't quite as much unfinished business as with X-Files. So excited!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I voted X-files because Twin peaks isn't happening. Lynch couldn't find the money he needed.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Pretty sure its happening dude.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Well that's great if it is, but i read an article with a quotes from Lynch saying he'd walked away from talks because of lack of money on the table. If he found what he needed elsewhere then I'm excited.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Then in May he said he's back.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Twin Peaks as I still want to know what happens next after all these years off the air.

X-Files let me down so badly with it's original ending (and awful movie) that I have low expectations for it. That said, I hope they prove me wrong.

  35. I love both shows, easily the X-Files to me though. Twin Peaks is eerie and beautiful but X-Files is just....life

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yep, they even upped the episode order to 17

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm guessing most ppl on here weren't born when Twin Peaks was first on

    ReplyDelete
  38. It is happening Lynch is back, it had nothing to do with financing, all crfe

    ReplyDelete
  39. also instead of 9 episodes it will be 18 episodes -per Sherilyn Fenn & Sheryl Lee at Crypticon in Seattle
