1. Blindspot. Love the whoel set up, don't know how much procedural it will get but still my front runner. 2. Code Black. Love the cast, loved the trailers intensity, think it has major potential. 3. Quantico. The trailer just blew me away. It has so much potential, I really hope it will be done well. 4. Blood and Oil. The trailer was neat, nothing to wOw! But Don, Chace and Michael can certainly pull off a good show.
Also I'll be checking out SG, Scream Queens, Limitless and Heroes Reborn, but not really excited about them.
From the list I've seen the pilots for Quantico, Blindspot, The Player, Blood and Oil and Code Black
Blindspot and Quantico are the early favorites in that order. Code Black and The Player are on the fence but I have higher hopes for the former than the latter. The Player is missing from the list but would put it as an early favorite. Blood and Oil is out of the running.
I might check out Heroes Reborn, they brought back all the characters I wasn't too fond of from the original series(where's Peter and Sylar?!) so I'm kind of "meh" about it.
It's actually fall, it's airing after Gotham and then Lucifer is taking it's place, it's the mid season one :) I think it must have slipped the persons mind when they made the poll.
Claire supposedly "dead" which i still don't believe, she's immortal and it's not like her weakness is public knowledge. But Peter ( Peter WAS anyway after that STUPID decison to de-power him) and Sylar are the 2 most powerful EVOs as they're now called in the world so whatever explanation they have about them better not be a convoluted reason.
Interesting, I haven't read anything about the premise nor what happened to some of the original character. Supposedly it takes place some time after the original series?
Many people didn't like overpowered Peter and Sylar but I thought it was awesome. Future Peter was such a badass. I'm still mad they didn't animate the fight scene between the two lol.
Because I watched the pilot and liked it. I mean I was interested about it before because it stars Priyanka Chopra, and the trailer was pretty good, too.
Yeah, I have 17 dramas alone that I intend to at least check out. But I am not overly worried to be honest, because I am pretty sure: 1) Cancellations will eliminate part of them (Though sadly it is looking like it will be some of the ones I am most interested, like Quantico) 2) I won't like a couple of them enough to keep watching after all 3) There is always one or two I end up not even watching because of the combination of level of interest not being particularly high + DOA ratings
HA! LOL, yeah by the way it's sounding it's like the Dark Future where Future Peter was fighting against Future Claire so i'd say at least the amount of time the show has been off. After all Micah's 19-20 now, well i loved Peter as as the most powerful hero on the show.
I agree. These 3 factors you mentioned applies for my TV show viewing too. When someone watches as many shows as you and i,there has to some sort of rule to follow.LOL!
I don't know if it's fair to say that we follow rules considering the amount of stuff we watch lol.
By the way, a little counter effect are the shows I am not even considering but which I then end up watching. Last year I ended up getting into Stalker late fall even though I wasn't drawn to the trailers at all as it seemed another run of the mill CBS procedural for instance. Empire wasn't also on my radar but I ended up watching it. However, I feel like this year I am already being very open minded and I am really only excluding shows that really do not interest me at all so I doubt the same effect happens to me, but we'll see.
Quarry if it manages to air in fall. Love the novels, the cast is perfect (especially Logan Marshall-Green), moving the show to Near Orleans is a stroke of genius and it has Banshee's creator directing all episodes. Everything about it screams it will be amazing.
Yes it was established, Adam has the same power as Claire, if Claire gets more and more hurt, after an amount of healing she'll stop aging and become immortal.
I have to say marketing really dampened my enthusiasm for Quantico and Scream Queens (especially after I saw the trailer for the MTV Scream which seem so much better). But I'll still give the shows a chance. Blindspot is the only must see for me during Fall (The Muppets on the comedy side), Limiteless is very likely. I'll check The Family and Minority Report on midseason. Everything else depends on my mood and activities at the time. I already watch Scorpion, Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, The Middle, Empire, The Big Bang Theory and How to get away with Murder. I can't add many shows to the schedule unless I drop some shows like I dropped Castle and Greys Anatomy and downgraded Fresh off the boat to binge watch when I can alongside Modern Family and Scandal.
Really excited: Blindspot, Chicago Med, The Player, Scream Queens Kinda excited: Heroes Reborn, Quantico Will check out: People are Talking, The Grinder, Grandfathered, The Muppets
I actually think Quantico has potential to be even more of a cult favorite than Forever since it has a broader appeal it seems. But I agree with the basis of your prediction. Is Rosewood your prediction for the first to be axed?
I don't think Rosewood will make it to midseason. I predict it will be cancelled ahead of its departure though. The show I predict will be first cancelled is actually one that I plan on watching.
Grandfathered. No leadin and tougher competition. I could just as easily be The Grinder though, I don't even either making it out of their first season.
That is the comedy pilot i am looking forward to the most. I am nervous about that one too though and i cant really argue with that prediction. I hope it can pull a B99 and make it in the slot though. Hopefully fox premieres the comedies in pre preniere week to increase sampling.
But i think it is pretty much a battle between the tuesday comedies and rosewood to see who gets replaced by masterchef jr. after the world series.
I assume that since Heartbreak is included and not Chicago Med, this poll was sent before ABC and NBC announced their changes, which would explain why Wicked City is not included, as it originally slated for Winter only. Minority Report, however, does feel like an omission.
Adam and Claire are the only characters on the show born with the same ability. When Sylar sliced her head open and copied her ability and put the top of her head back she asked him why he didn't kill her and he told her that she doesn't even know the full potential of her ability. He told her he couldn't kill her even if he wanted to, he actually said the words "you can never die Claire" and snarked "neither can i". Then later when Claire was kidnapped by him in college she said she'll never try stop him and he good luck trying for eternity. He also remarked during that scene that neither of them can die.
On their powers info (Claire and Adam i mean) it has the same description about their powers and it was confirmed by Kring that the only way to kill Clare is decapitation, he actually confirmed that Claire's immortal.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Scream Queens and Supergirl
ReplyDeleteScream Queens as a serious watcher or just for guilty pleasure?
ReplyDeleteSUPERGIRL!!! Heroe Reborn as well and DEFINITELY Blindspot.
ReplyDelete1. Blindspot. Love the whoel set up, don't know how much procedural it will get but still my front runner.
ReplyDelete2. Code Black. Love the cast, loved the trailers intensity, think it has major potential.
3. Quantico. The trailer just blew me away. It has so much potential, I really hope it will be done well.

Also I'll be checking out SG, Scream Queens, Limitless and Heroes Reborn, but not really excited about them.
Blindspot and Quantico, I’ve seen both pilots and they were excellent :) I also really enjoyed Limitless
ReplyDeleteReally excited for Heroes Reborn!! Zachary Levi!! I miss Chuck.
I’d like to see Scream Queens because I like the cast and I'm interested in more Supergirl too :)
Heroes Reborn, Quantico and then Blindspot.
ReplyDeleteFrom the list I've seen the pilots for Quantico, Blindspot, The Player, Blood and Oil and Code Black
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and Quantico are the early favorites in that order. Code Black and The Player are on the fence but I have higher hopes for the former than the latter. The Player is missing from the list but would put it as an early favorite. Blood and Oil is out of the running.
Blindspot and Quantico.
ReplyDeleteMinority Report is mid season, right?
Most interested in Blindspot and Scream Queens.
ReplyDeleteI might check out Heroes Reborn, they brought back all the characters I wasn't too fond of from the original series(where's Peter and Sylar?!) so I'm kind of "meh" about it.
It's actually fall, it's airing after Gotham and then Lucifer is taking it's place, it's the mid season one :)
ReplyDeleteI think it must have slipped the persons mind when they made the poll.
Honestly I'm not looking to any new fall show. Only scream Queens, blindspot, heroes reborn and Limitless have peaked my interest
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and The Player, cannot wait for the Strick Back boys back in action on my TV screen. Supergirl and Quantico looks fine, too.
ReplyDeleteClaire supposedly "dead" which i still don't believe, she's immortal and it's not like her weakness is public knowledge. But Peter ( Peter WAS anyway after that STUPID decison to de-power him) and Sylar are the 2 most powerful EVOs as they're now called in the world so whatever explanation they have about them better not be a convoluted reason.
ReplyDeleteQuantico, Blindspot and Heroes Reborn.
ReplyDeleteWhy does everyone want Quantico? Is it another Shonda Rines or Rimes show? It looks really soapy.
ReplyDeleteNone until I see pilots and cast on the stage. Say, some chemistry between them.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl? Seriously? Have you guys seen the pilot? It's horrible!
ReplyDeleteBlindspot. I'm also curious to see what they do with Heroes Reborn.
ReplyDeleteMust: Quantico, Heroes Reborn
ReplyDeleteAlso excited about: Limitless, Super Girl, Scream Queens, Blood and Oil, Minority Report, Blindspot
Will still give it a look but not particularly excited: The Player
By the way, Minority Report is missing and I am quite looking forward to that one
ReplyDeleteIt is not Shonda Rhimes. I loved the trailer.
ReplyDeleteShonda has nothing to do with the show.
ReplyDeleteAh ok
ReplyDeleteHonestly it just looked like a bunch of kids wanting to have sex at any point in the day.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I haven't read anything about the premise nor what happened to some of the original character. Supposedly it takes place some time after the original series?
ReplyDeleteMany people didn't like overpowered Peter and Sylar but I thought it was awesome. Future Peter was such a badass. I'm still mad they didn't animate the fight scene between the two lol.
Scream Queens,Quantico,The Catch,Heroes Reborn & Legends of Tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAnd so our list keeps growing and growing... Lol
ReplyDeleteThe pilot had only one sex scene \and that was in the first 5 minutes. It's ABC's promotion that's giving people the wrong idea of the show.
ReplyDelete14 new shows to watch-I'll end up dropping 10 of them,i'm pretty sure by Episode 5.
ReplyDeleteBecause I watched the pilot and liked it. I mean I was interested about it before because it stars Priyanka Chopra, and the trailer was pretty good, too.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have 17 dramas alone that I intend to at least check out. But I am not overly worried to be honest, because I am pretty sure:

2) I won't like a couple of them enough to keep watching after all
3) There is always one or two I end up not even watching because of the combination of level of interest not being particularly high + DOA ratings
So it could be a hit?
ReplyDeleteSerialized or Episodic?
ReplyDeleteOther: Jessica Jones, Netflix French political drama Marseille could be interesting and also Netflix's crime drama Narcos,
ReplyDeleteHA! LOL, yeah by the way it's sounding it's like the Dark Future where Future Peter was fighting against Future Claire so i'd say at least the amount of time the show has been off. After all Micah's 19-20 now, well i loved Peter as as the most powerful hero on the show.
ReplyDeleteSerialized.
ReplyDeleteThe timeslot is tough, so I don't know.
ReplyDeleteEasy one, cause the only show I'm gonna cech is Scream Queens.
ReplyDeleteOkay that sounds good and if it's serialized does that mean there's a Big Bad?
ReplyDeleteThursdays?
ReplyDeleteSupergirl and Scream Queens because Glee alumni
ReplyDeleteQuantico is airing Sundays at 10pm in the fall following Blood and Oil.
ReplyDeleteOoff! They'll be lucky if it's not dead in the water.
ReplyDeleteWell, there wasn't much clear in the pilot. But it was a really good pilot. Have you not watched the trailer?
ReplyDeleteBlindspot, The Player, Quantico and Jessica Jones. I'm iffy on the lead actress for Quantico but I'm giving it at least 3 episodes.
ReplyDeleteMost excited to see: The Frankenstein Code, Emerald City, The Muppets
ReplyDeleteStill looking forward to: Heroes Reborn, Scream Queens, Containment
Will at least try out: Blood and Oil, Quantico, Wicked City, Limitless, Minority Report, Game of Silence, The Player.
Yeah but like i said the sex scene turned me off that i basically didn't pay attention to it.
ReplyDeleteAgainst CSI Cyber
ReplyDeleteBlindspot
ReplyDeleteThe Player
Limitless
I disagree Player looks to me like a non starter..Blood and Oil...Will be a guilty pleasure.
ReplyDeleteAnd a little something called Sunday Night Football and The Talking Dead
ReplyDeleteI agree. These 3 factors you mentioned applies for my TV show viewing too. When someone watches as many shows as you and i,there has to some sort of rule to follow.LOL!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's fair to say that we follow rules considering the amount of stuff we watch lol.

ReplyDeleteQuantico, The Family, Heroes Reborn, Game of Silence and The Catch. Supergirl, maybe.
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and Heroes: Reborn.
ReplyDeleteWas it established she was Immortal or just a slow ager?
ReplyDeleteI've 20 shows to check out. With about 10 listed as 'maybe'.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl
ReplyDeleteBlindspot
Scream Queens
Heroes Reborn
Heartbreaker
Supergirl, Blindspot, and Heroes Reborn.
ReplyDeleteQuantico (!!!)
ReplyDeleteThe Legends of tomorrow (!!!)
The Family (!!!)
Blindspot (!!)
The Catch (!!)
Scream Queens (!!)
Supergirl
Limetless- Maybe
If a show as crap as Scorpion can find the audience it has, The Player should be able to hang in there.
ReplyDeleteIt's a midseason show, but I'm most excited for Lucifer. It looks like a devilish Castle. : )
ReplyDeleteI'll watch: Supergirl, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Legends of Tomorrow, and Chicago Med.
I'll try: Wicked City, Limitless, Code Black, The Frankenstein Code, and Heartbreaker.
Yes it was established, Adam has the same power as Claire, if Claire gets more and more hurt, after an amount of healing she'll stop aging and become immortal.
ReplyDeleteScream Queen
ReplyDeleteHeroes Reborn and Scream Queens for me. Not really interested in anything else.
ReplyDeleteHeroes reborn, Blindspot and Supergirl
ReplyDeleteI have to say marketing really dampened my enthusiasm for Quantico and Scream Queens (especially after I saw the trailer for the MTV Scream which seem so much better). ReplyDeleteReally excited: Blindspot, Chicago Med, The Player, Scream Queens
ReplyDeleteKinda excited: Heroes Reborn, Quantico
Will check out: People are Talking, The Grinder, Grandfathered, The Muppets
Quantico, Blindspot and Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteSQ, HR,Quantico, Blindspot
ReplyDeleteBlindspot, The Player, Supergirl, Limitless and Scream Queens
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me if The Player's pilot is good?
ReplyDeleteSupergirl, Heroes Reborn, Quantico, Limitless and Scream queens
ReplyDeletePredictions
ReplyDelete-Rosewood is going to tank
-Quantici will be this site's next Forever
Scream Queens, Quantico, Blindspot. Also Minority Report. Most of my most anticipated freshman series are mid-season, like Lucifer.
ReplyDeleteI actually think Quantico has potential to be even more of a cult favorite than Forever since it has a broader appeal it seems. But I agree with the basis of your prediction. Is Rosewood your prediction for the first to be axed?
ReplyDeleteNo Minority Report for you? All of those are shows I am very much looking forward :))

ReplyDeleteI agree with that prediction. Which is the show you predict to be first canceled then? The Grinder?
ReplyDeleteBlindspot and Supegirl (which I might not have voted for if I had not seen the leaked pilot). Maybe Heroes.
ReplyDeleteGrandfathered. No leadin and tougher competition. I could just as easily be The Grinder though, I don't even either making it out of their first season.

ReplyDeleteBut i think it is pretty much a battle between the tuesday comedies and rosewood to see who gets replaced by masterchef jr. after the world series.
Adam, was immortal, I agree. I don't think Clare had the exact same ability. Even when she goes through a secondary mutation/evolution.
ReplyDeleteQuantico
ReplyDeleteBlindspot
Scream Queens
Blood and Oil
The Player
Blindspot
ReplyDeleteHeartbreaker is not a fall show.
ReplyDeleteWent for Supergirl, Quantico and Blindspot as my Top 3. Will probably check out at least one episode of all the rest though.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl, Heroes Reborn and Scream Queens
ReplyDeleteBlindspot, Heroes, Limitless.
ReplyDeleteQuantico
ReplyDeleteSupergirl, Blindspot and Limitless.
ReplyDeleteScream queens
ReplyDeleteQuantico is my main one.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Wicked City?
ReplyDeleteI assume that since Heartbreak is included and not Chicago Med, this poll was sent before ABC and NBC announced their changes, which would explain why Wicked City is not included, as it originally slated for Winter only. Minority Report, however, does feel like an omission.

ReplyDeleteI'm curious about The Player, Supergirl and Quantico.
Code Black is on my radar after all the good reviews.
