Quantico should be somewhere else!!!!! It is probably the best drama to air this upcoming season and it gets the deathslot! I do not understand what ABC is thinking!! Nashville deserves that spot.
Of kings and prophets should just be cancelled. I mean, that trailer still hurts my eyes and ears
oKaP will probably get summered like The Whisperers. Except if ABC's schedule totally flops it will be put in for midseason. Quantico, I assume it fits better with BaO than with SHIELD, but still think they approached it wrong. Should've get a more prominent role. Maybe snatch the Sundays 9pm instead of 10pm.
Don't think compatibility has much to do with Shonda's wishes to rule the night. I think it would certainly work that way, but sadly won't happen that way.
It is co-produced by Shondaland, her production firm but created by Peter Nowalk I believe. She certainly has some input into scheduling her shows after bringing on 4 successful shows to the network. And certainly suggested she wants her new show to get the post Scandal slot upon HTGAWM's ending.
I really want both shows (The Catch and Quantico) to work since I liked both pilots but I think The Catch will do just like American Crime. Good start and then it'll just crash and burn. (thanks to the critical acclaim it was saved)
I want them to good as well, but I think Qunatico has the better chance to succeed. Also I think Quantico has a better chance to be a self-starter and generate viewers on his own without a strong lead in.
I'm starting to question The Catch as they are recasting 2 of their lead and Shonda only did that once with PP's Naomi (was played by OUAT's Ursula in the GA backdoor pilot). But still I hope it does well, but I assume it would've fit ABC Sundays better.
Good choice to rework on the show, Quantico should have got to Wednesdays 10pm and Nashville to go to Sundays 10pm(it fits prefectly with OUAT and BAO)
Is this right, on Wikipedia it says Beyond The Tank returns to the Tuesday 10pm after Wicked City ends? You can see the schedule https://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_United_States_network_television_schedule
Quantico is not a sexy drama. The promos sure make it look like that but there really is only one sex scene. However, I agree it would fit nicely with Scandal because of all the twists and turns.
I'm not a fan of either the Tuesday or the Sunday time slot. Maybe Monday 10 pm (the post-DWTS slot) or somewhere on Thursday would be best. Even Wednesdays would be better.
I'm so ready for Quantico. I'm willing to watch it wherever they put it. Timeslots don't bother me too much. If I want to watch a show, I'm going to watch it, no matter where it's placed. Bring on Sept 27th!
I've got Two- 1.Quantico should've stayed on Tuesdays. 2.Of Kings & Prophets never should've made it to the fall schedule.Mid-season in best case scenario.Well, there's still time ABC!
Quantico should have stayed on Tuesday! I tell you the Sunday 10 pm slot is a horrible one. That was the reason of Revenge's falling numbers. I feel like of ABCs new shows Quantico could be the best but will get dismal ratings because of its horrible time slot.
I totally agree, Quantico should be on wednesdays at 10 with Nashville moving to sundays at 10 after Blood & Oil. I don't know where Beyond the Tank should go, but tuesdays at 10 is a weird spot for it.
As for Of Kings and Prophets, the trailer was way better than I expected (though my expectations were REALLY LOW). It still looks pretty bad and I don't see myself watching it.
I hate Quantico on Sunday, I don't see any benefit from the move at all.
Had it been up to me, this would have been my ABC schedule: Fall: M: DWTS | Castle T: The Muppets | FOTB | Quantico or AOS | Quantico or AOS W: TM | TG | MF | Blackish | The Family T: GA | Scandal | Murder F: LMS | Dr. Ken | Shark Tank | 20/20 S: OUAT | Blood and Oil | Secrets and Lies
Winter: M: The Bachelor | Castle T: The Muppets | FOTB | Wicked City | Agent Carter W: TM | TG | MF | Blackish | Uncle Buck | Uncle Buck T: Beyond the Tank | Beyond the Tank | American Crime F: LMS | Dr. Ken | Shark Tank | 20/20 S: Galavant | Of Kings and Prophets | Nashville
Spring: M: DWTS | Castle T: FOTB | The Real O'Neals | Quantico or Shield | Quantico or Shield W: TM | TG | MF | Blackish | The Family T: GA | Scandal | The Catch F: LMS | Dr. Ken | Shark Tank | 20/20 S: OUAT | Blood and Oil | Nashville
My problems with the schedule: 1) Putting Quantico on that timeslot is a big mistake. I mean hasn't Abc learned its lesson? Every new show including Revenge and Brothers and Sisters that they tried to put on that timeslot got dismal ratings. Not to mention I think that its stupid putting 2 new shows back to back. They should switch Quantico with Nashville. 2) whats the point in keeping Kings and Prophets when that show is unlikely to succeed.
Totally agree. Out the news show on Abc Quantico seems to be the show that has most potential to become a hit but thanks to Abc thats unlikely now. As for kings and prophets whats the point in keeping it when its unlikely to succeed
ABC's schedule changes is a prime example of moving shows with little potential of success around to try to impact the schedule as little as possible.
Tuesday at 10 PM would have likely struggled regardless if Quantico, Wicked City, or Beyond The Tank was scheduled there. Same thing with Sundays at 10 PM with Of Kings Or Prophets or Quantico.
The PR spin for ABC is that they tried a new two hour block of Blood and Oil and Quantico, and when both likely fail, they can easily replace both hours by January instead of just one. It also allows ABC to burn through Wicked City quickly while shelving Of Kings and Prophets.
I don't expect a long life for any of these shows. Blood and Oil, Quantico, Wicked City, and Dr, Ken will be gone by January and ABC can move on to their other shows.
SHIELD into Beyond The Tank is an amazingly terrible idea. These two shows do not work together at all. While ABC doesn't have a lot of backups ready to go, surely they could have done much better than this.
Premiering a new show Sundays at 10pm, which has been difficult for all of the networks recently, makes no sense when ABC has Nashville to put in the slot. Tuesday at 10pm might be the toughest slot on ABC though, I really think Castle should move there. Only thing I dont like is the original plan to air American Crime Sundays at 9pm as a bridge series and give the Family Sundays at 10pm as a bridge series. That will probably change because one of those shows will likely end up Tuesdays at 10pm, but it seemed more logical to give the Family Sundays at 9pm and American Crime Sundays at 10pm.
Thanks. And the thing is that this schedule would also accomplish ABC's goal of not moving stuff around. Nashville would be held for midseason and S&L would slide down an hour but other than that stuff is put like they wanted it be.
Do you think ABC will be willing to venture into the 10pm hour again in comedy? It worked out ok with Happy Endings, but it's a big risk. Also, where is Secrets and Lies?
Uncle Buck at 10 would be just a 4 week thing so no big investment anyway and I think the post Blackish slot is the most natural place for it on the schedule actually. But in terms of whether or not they would do it, no, i dont think so.
I quit working at my previous job and at this moment I am earning eighty five bucks each hour. How? I freelance online from my home! My last work was making me un-happy ,so I decided to take a chance with something different… Two years have passed since And I can say in great confidence I couldn't be happier! Check it out, what i do...< www.Pay-Review.com >
I think they should swap Quantico with Nashville, or even with Oil cause 9m would be better for it + it would help Oil since OUAT won't be doing super good. OKAP will be Astronauts Wives Club 2.0 (Summer burn-off with no chance at renewal).
Quantico should stay on Sunday at 10, so that CSI: Cyber can become a 'hit.' I just hope for more of the unintentionally bad promos. The truth is the Nashville should be on Sundays at 10 unless ABC, like CBS has decided to punt on Sundays to Football, TWD and GoT. I don't get it, really.
I have absolutely no interest in Of Kings and Prophets, Beyond the Shark Tank or Quantico. If they were going to move Quantico out of the Tuesday at ten slot, they should have uncancelled Forever and put that there. In fact, so many people have suggested that on various discussion boards, I feel this poll was a major failure in not making that one of the choices.
I really don't think it is awful. I think it could easily be improved but I don't think it is awful. Blood and Oil, The Muppets and The Catch are all where I would place them ideally and The Family should end up with a good placement as well although I would have done Wednesdays at 10 in the fall instead. The Real O'Neals is probably going to be scheduled ok and Wicked City could be worse scheduled too. It's really just Quantico who is terribly scheduled, imo.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Quantico should be somewhere else!!!!! It is probably the best drama to air this upcoming season and it gets the deathslot! I do not understand what ABC is thinking!! Nashville deserves that spot.
ReplyDeleteOf kings and prophets should just be cancelled. I mean, that trailer still hurts my eyes and ears
I think Quantico should've been given the Thursday 10 pm slot after Murder finishes its run.
ReplyDeleteLoL like Shonda would anyone let mess with her Thursdays. Last season she let the play play around but won't happen to her again. ^^
ReplyDeleteI really don't think 'The Catch' can be paired with a rollercoaster like Scandal.
ReplyDeleteQuantico can.
oKaP will probably get summered like The Whisperers. Except if ABC's schedule totally flops it will be put in for midseason.
ReplyDeleteQuantico, I assume it fits better with BaO than with SHIELD, but still think they approached it wrong. Should've get a more prominent role. Maybe snatch the Sundays 9pm instead of 10pm.
Don't think compatibility has much to do with Shonda's wishes to rule the night. I think it would certainly work that way, but sadly won't happen that way.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Shonda controls ABC. Murder is not even her show.
ReplyDeleteIt is co-produced by Shondaland, her production firm but created by Peter Nowalk I believe. She certainly has some input into scheduling her shows after bringing on 4 successful shows to the network. American Crime is scheduled to air in Blood and Oil pause(split season like OUAT,SHIELD).
ReplyDeleteI
Good choice to rework on the show, Quantico should have got to Wednesdays 10pm and Nashville to go to Sundays 10pm(it fits prefectly with OUAT and BAO)
ReplyDeleteFor BBT, good choice, good counter programming.
ReplyDeleteIs this right, on Wikipedia it says Beyond The Tank returns to the Tuesday 10pm after Wicked City ends?
ReplyDeleteYou can see the schedule
https://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_United_States_network_television_schedule
Didn't catch that announcement. The Family was announced for Sundays post oKaP but I think that could change if Quantico gets a full season order.
ReplyDeleteYep was announced with premier dates.
ReplyDeleteSo that means there is NO space for OKAP in any way, you are right it goes to summer.
ReplyDeleteWicked City is only 10 eps so there is space.
ReplyDeleteBaO can flop and get replaced with oKaP. U never know.
Did you see my post where it says that BBT gets the slot after Wicked City ends? I hope this isnt right but it says Spring 2016- Beyond The Tank.
ReplyDeleteQuantico looks like a sexy drama, which would fit with Scandal. But, there's The Catch.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that has been announced? Only that BTT airs before Wicked City, but I haven't heard that it also takes the spot after Wicked City ends.
ReplyDeleteQuantico is not a sexy drama. The promos sure make it look like that but there really is only one sex scene. However, I agree it would fit nicely with Scandal because of all the twists and turns.

ReplyDeleteYes I agree. Abc should have sent Nashville to die on Sunday's at 10
ReplyDeleteThe poll was made during the time it was thougt that Beyond the Tank was starting the season. Kind of hoping this poll didn't make it lol.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, Quantico should be on wednesdays at 10 with Nashville moving to sundays at 10 after Blood & Oil. I don't know where Beyond the Tank should go, but tuesdays at 10 is a weird spot for it.
ReplyDeleteAs for Of Kings and Prophets, the trailer was way better than I expected (though my expectations were REALLY LOW). It still looks pretty bad and I don't see myself watching it.
I have no real opinion either way. OK&P was doomed and I think Quantico is doomed regardless.
ReplyDeleteABC should switch Nashville and Quantico
ReplyDeleteI hate Quantico on Sunday, I don't see any benefit from the move at all.
ReplyDeleteHad it been up to me, this would have been my ABC schedule:
Fall:

Just give me The Family.
Quantico should be after Danving with the Stars. Castle should be Tuesdays or Sundays

ReplyDeletegood like this. I didn't like KOP they saved me
ReplyDeleteThis schedule is far better than ABC's current one

ReplyDeleteABC scheudle is truly awful, I don't see any rookies renewed other than The Muppets.
ReplyDeleteI have absolutely no interest in Of Kings and Prophets, Beyond the Shark Tank or Quantico. If they were going to move Quantico out of the Tuesday at ten slot, they should have uncancelled Forever and put that there. In fact, so many people have suggested that on various discussion boards, I feel this poll was a major failure in not making that one of the choices.
ReplyDeleteI really don't think it is awful. I think it could easily be improved but I don't think it is awful. The Real O'Neals is probably going to be scheduled ok and Wicked City could be worse scheduled too. It's really just Quantico who is terribly scheduled, imo.
ReplyDeleteQuantico will be okay on Sundays opposite zero competition. Tuesdays opposite two new shows and very low-rated SHIELD is worse.
ReplyDeleteBlood and Oil and Quantico will be get full seasons, ABC have lower ratings standards for both. Mid 1s at best.
ReplyDeleteI agree I think that could work too. Since Quantico seems to have more potential then Oil it would be a great idea they swapped both of these shows.
ReplyDelete
