    Ray's boss said "one of my men was shot" not killed. So he is alive but will be off to the sidelines for awhile.

    That was kind of a surprise ending to episode 2 but it is HBO and HBO likes killing off people off shows take Game of kill all the hero's AKA game of thrones were it seems by the end of every season so far the so called hero's always end up dead. This cop wasn't clean but he wasn't that dirty either or bent as they say in England.

    the only way he would still be alive is if he was wearing a vest, but if you get shot twice by a shotgun in the same area of the vest and one of the shots was up close god help you because chances are that second shot went right through the vest.
