    He doesn't even seem to fit into the story, he felt pretty shoehorned in during the majority of the first season.

    Yeah, I get that he kinda represents the "goth vampirey" thing but as things stand right now he's a glorified extra since he has no lines.


    Only thing I could imagine is the Master or some of the other elders giving him his mind back

    I also don't understant somethings. Like my friends already told about Bolivar, as example. He just look like the other vampires, so I don't know why he still remains in the main cast. Otherwise, he was a good character. And why they changed the actor who played Zack? I liked him.
