06/22/2015 (08:00PM - 10:01PM) (Monday) : AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR WILL HEAD TO PITTSBURGH'S CARRIE FURNACE FOR THE NEXT QUALIFYING ROUND-- Pittsburgh, PA's historic Carrie Furnace will host the fifth qualifying round where competitors tackle two new obstacles including, the Snake Crossing and the Wind Chimes. Ninjas will compete to qualify for the finals in Las Vegas and a shot at winning the grand prize of $1,000,000. "American Ninja Warrior" veterans Michelle Warnky and "Captain NBC" Jamie Rahn return, while Olympian and Pittsburgh local Brianne McLaughlin and Harlem Globetrotter Flip White will take a shot at the course, along with University of Pittsburgh "vampire" professor Joel Brady and Team USA members Joe Moravsky and Elet Hall. Competitors in this rigorous obstacle course competition series will vie for the title "American Ninja Warrior." Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila hosts as Kristine Leahy co-hosts.

There they will face several new obstacles, including the Paddle Boards and Tire Swing. Veteran competitors, including pro-wakeboarder Sean Murray, William "Spartan" Brown and rivals Flip Rodriguez & Drew Dreschel, return. 06:40 - Code Black - Brett Mahoney (The Following) Joins as Executive Producer
The Following executive producer Brett Mahoney has closed an overall deal with CBSTV Studios. Under the two-year pact, Mahoney is joining new CBS medical drama Code Black, from ABC Studios and CBS Studios, as executive producer alongside creator/showrunner Michael Seitzman. Mahoney also will develop new projects for the studio.
Mahoney most recently served as executive producer/co-showrunner on Kevin Williamson’s Fox drama The Following and also did a stint as co-executive producer on Williamson’s freshman CBS drama Stalker.
He previously worked on the final three seasons of the CBS Studios’ long-running CBS crime drama, CSI: Miami. Mahoney’s resume also includes two Greg Berlanti-produced series, Eli Stone at ABC and Golden Boy at CBS. He is repped by WME and John Meigs.

06:40 - Girl Meets World - Season 2 - Matthew Lawrence to Return
It looks like another Boy Meets World alum is headed to Girl Meets World. EW confirmed Thursday that Matthew Lawrence will bring his perfect hair and 6 percent body fat to the Disney spinoff.
He first appeared in season 5 as Shawn Hunter’s (Rider Strong) long lost (and overly confident) brother, Jack. When we last saw him in the series finale, he was headed to the Peace Corps with Rachel (Maitland Ward).
Lawrence will reprise his role in two episodes this season, but no further details have been released.

06:35 - Degrassi - Cancelled after 14 Seasons
Canada's MTV is to cancel the iconic Degrassiteen drama after 14 seasons.
The long-running Degrassi franchise from indie producer Epitome Pictures launched the young careers of the rapper Drake, 90210's Shenae Grimes and The L.A. Complex's Cassie Steele.
“We are immensely proud of Degrassi, and our longstanding partnership with Linda and Stephen. We wish the entire Epitome team the best of luck, and look forward to working with them again in the future," Phil King president, CTV, sports and entertainmant programming, said in a statement Thursday.
The 14th and final season of Degrassi debuts on July 20 on MTV in Canada.

Playing House isn't wasting time adding top comedy talent for it's upcoming second season.
Rob Riggle is set to guest star on the USA half-hour comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The Daily Show alum will play Buck Finch, a woodshop teacher whose double entendres about working with wood get his ladies-only class going.
Emma (Jessica St. Clair) and Maggie (Lennon Parham) sign up in hopes of repairing their relationship with Mark's wife Tina (Lindsay Sloane), aka "Bird Bones." The unassuming Tina, unaware of Buck's innuendos, is determined to make her birdhouse the best of the bunch.

David Castro (Red Zone) has has been cast in a recurring role on ABC Family’s straight-to-series drama Shadowhunters. Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, Shadowhunters follows 18-year-old Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara) who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters — human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn (Maxim Roy) is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace (Dominic Sherwood) and her best friend Simon (Alberto Rosende). Castro will play Raphael, an elegantly handsome, well-dressed vampire. Ambitious and cunning, he’s aspiring to lead the New York vampire clan.
