Marge And Homer To Legally-Separate In Upcoming Season
In the premiere, it’s discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it’s an incredible strain on the marriage. Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who’s voiced by Lena Dunham. We’ll have cameos from the other women from “Girls.” We have an episode coming up where Lisa befriends a homeless woman who turns out to be an incredible singer. The woman’s voiced by Kate McKinnon, but the singing is done by Natalie Maines. In another episode, Spider Pig makes his return. Sideshow Bob appears in a segment, and we finally see him do something he’s wanted to do for 25 years. And we have an episode based on the film “Boyhood.” It’s a flashback/flashforward about Bart. We go to various points in his life and his life to come which I think came out really well.

Halloween Special + Spider-Pig Details
After 25 years, Sideshow Bob will finally get his wish.
This fall on The Simpsons’ annual Halloween episode, Kelsey Grammer will return to voice the baritone, scene-stealing maniac Sideshow Bob. Only this time, instead of his diabolical plan being foiled at the last possible moment, Bob will actually kill Bart Simpson.
Simpsons producers revealed the news during their ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas, on Saturday. Executive producer Al Jean said he always wanted to see the Coyote get the Road Runner in the classic Looney Tunes cartoons. “I hated frustration comedy so we’ll scratch that itch,” Jean told EW. So Bob will finally somehow actually execute Bart—and then won’t know what to do with himself after his life’s mission has been accomplished.
Of course, Bart will be back on the show after the traditionally format-shattering Halloween stunt. Bob was first introduced on the show in 1990 and began his quest to kill Bart in the “Cape Feare” episode in 1993.
The producers also announced that a fan-favorite character from The Simpsons Movie will return during the upcoming 27th season—Homer’s beloved Spider-Pig will be back.

Ooh I'm excited for spider pig and the treehouse of horror episode!
ReplyDelete'scuse me, He's Harry Plopper now.
ReplyDelete"Can he swing on a web? No he can't, he's a pig. Lookooouut..."
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite parts of the movie.
But I assume Bart lives and they get back together after this episode? Could you imagine if something that dark became the series finale?
ReplyDeleteBart's being killed in the Treehouse of Horror episode. They're non-canon.
ReplyDeleteHomer and Marge will split up?
ReplyDeleteWell, now that's a way to shake up the status quo... though I don't see that move lasting more than a few episodes... and that's only if it goes beyond one episode.
