The 2015 Emmy Awards: Submit your Predictions and Dream Nominees

In a month's time, on July 16, the nominees for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will be announced. If the past few years are any indication, the Emmys have shown to be predictable. On the comedy side, there usually seems to be a lot of love for Modern Family and The Big Bang Theory. Frequent drama occupants, meanwhile, include Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and The Good Wife. So will this year be any different? We shall see in a month.

In the meantime, we can only speculate on who will be among the nominations next month. We now have a fun way to do that. In the form below, you can submit your predictions in the major categories (the series and the acting categories). In addition to that, you can also submit your own wishes in the very same categories. Once the form is closed, I will go through the predicted nominees and dream nominees and compile an article that will be published a few days before July 16. The nominees with the most votes will be included in the article.

The form is pretty simple. For your predictions, it is important to be as objective as you can and think about who has the best chance of getting a nomination. You could look at last year's nominees, find various other sites with Emmy predictions or look which series have the most Emmy buzz. Try not to let your feelings cloud your judgment.

For your wishes, you can be as subjective as you like. This means you can pick your own dream nominees and submit those, provided they are eligible for the Emmys. You can think about your favourite shows or the best shows you watch and submit these. Below are some rules pertaining to the form and the eligibility for the Emmys.

General rules

1) The form will be open from today till July 1.
2) You can only submit once. If you submit multiple times, all your submissions will be removed.
3) You must fill out the entire form (4 pages) and click 'Send' at the end of page 4.
4) All questions are mandatory to answer so you can't forget any category. However, if you have no idea who will be nominated or no opinion on who should be nominated, you can just write 'None' or 'No idea' or something like that.
5) Read the page carefully to make sure you submit the right nominees in the correct category. At the top of the page, it should say whether you are on the page for writing PREDICTIONS or on the page for WISHES. In the case of PREDICTIONS, the question is who WILL be nominated and in the case of WISHES the question is who SHOULD be nominated.
6) The maximum number of nominees is listed right above the answer box. No more nominees than the maximum should be submitted. If you submit more, your answer for that category won't count. Submitting fewer nominees is not a problem.
7) Only eligible nominees (see below) can be submitted. Non-eligible submissions will be removed.
8) The form is only for the major categories. You are free to discuss your predictions or wishes for other categories in the comment section below.
9) The form is only meant to predict nominations, not winners.

Eligibility rules

1) The eligibility period is from June 1, 2014 till May 31, 2015. Only programs that aired the majority of their episodes in this period can be submitted, which means that for example Hannibal can't be submitted.
2) For both your predictions and your wishes, only programs or actors/actresses that are eligible for nomination can be submitted. Since some actors simply don't put their name up for Emmy consideration, this means they sadly cannot be picked in the form. For example, no matter how good The 100's Eliza Taylor is, she is not eligible which unfortunately means you cannot submit her name in the form below. As written above, non-eligible submissions will be removed.
3) To see if someone is eligible, you need to check the nomination ballots. Simply click on the ballot you want to see (in this case 'Program' or 'Performer') and it will open a PDF-file with all the eligible nominees. You can use a quick search (Ctrl + F) to see if your prediction or wish can be submitted.
4) Keep in mind the TV Academy recently changed some of its rules. You can find these changes on Deadline or any other site. These rules are important to take into consideration, as it means that, for example, last year's winner for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, Joe Morton, is not eligible in that category this year. It also means that Jane the Virgin and Shameless are eligible in the comedy categories, while Orange Is The New Black is considered a drama.
