I am surprised with this. I guess FOX's announcement of airing all 15 episodes in the fall will not be true after all then. The show will probably last until the end of January, American Horror Story style, although that will certainly create difficulties to schedule 22 episodes of New Girl in the season.
I do hope FOX premieres the comedies a week earlier though.
Yeah it is very concentrated. I think so far it is:
Week 1: The Muppets, Blood and Oil, Quantico, Life in Pieces, Limitless, Blindspot, Heroes, The Player, Scream Queens Week 2: Code Black Week 3: Dr. Ken Week 4: People Are Talking Week 5: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Week 6: Super Girl, Wicked City Week 7: Angel from Hell
Yes, it's true, I've just added it. It's Week 8! Now that I look at it, there is actually some dispersion. There is a shockingly low amount of stuff premiering in Week 0 and Week 2, but on the other hand we have stuff premiering up until Week 8, and no weeks until then without a premiere!
Against The Voice Tuesday premiere? RIP Scream Queens. The Voice is absolutely going to dominate over it. FOX has to learn how to play defense as this was the worst move that they possibly could have made. NBC destroyed X-Factor, it'll do it again.
There was no other choice, they set the date for September and either they went a week early and face the finaly of AGT or they go agains the Voice. I hope it does well, The Voice second hour always does a little better when it's audition nights.
The Voice is far from the monster it once was. When it premiered in the spring it had little affect on the other shows. The premiere will lucky to do higher than a 3.5. Plus bringing back Gwen will not help the decline
You are quite possibly the most pessimistic person I've seen on this site lol. Obviously Scream Queens would be better off with no The Voice but I personally think it will be a large enough hit to withstand it. And it might be a good idea to go head to head right away instead of "wasting" premiere hype the week before, who knows. The comedies I think must be premiered a week earlier, but Scream Queens not so much
Just read only 4 characters introduced in the show will survive. Then season 2 will feature those 4 survivors moving to a new location where the killings will start again
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Slightly interested in this. But as my Tuesdays are getting overpacked don't know if I'll stick with it.
ReplyDeleteSo Fox's schedule should come soon as well.
Yeah it should come out this week too it seems. All networks are quite early with it this year I would say.
ReplyDeleteI have too high expectation from this show, hoping it doesn't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteHonestly no reason to withold either. Everything starts more or less in the same week like last season.
ReplyDeleteTLMOE premiere date was also released on the official Facebook page, however, they quickly removed it. (Sorry didn't keep the photo)
ReplyDeleteScream queens, looks bloody awesome. No pun intended. ;)

I haven't been loving the marketing so far so my enthusiasm has been tampered with so far a bit, but I am still looking forward to it much.
ReplyDeleteAnd Chicago Med is also starting late. Can't remember the date atm.

ReplyDeleteExactly, everyone who wants to see The Voice has seen it already, Scream Queens is something new to sample.
ReplyDeleteTLMOE?
ReplyDeleteThe last man on earth.
ReplyDeleteGah! I feel like all my shows are bunched up together this year. Idk what to do. Lol I'll have to switch off weekly. God I wish I had comcast.

ReplyDeleteYou are forgetting that AoS got a 4.7 against The Voice when it first premiered.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Ryan Murphy show, the first sea,son will be amazing
