Note: The following labels are based on the household overnights and are subject to change given the availability of other pending data streams. The overnights are your first look at what to potentially expect when the other results come in. And we always take into account other benchmarks including the expected demographic ratings, potential DVR usage, the critical acclaim (or lack of) and the social media presence. Keep in mind, as always, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate.
-Winners:
NBA Finals, Game 2 (ABC)
-Losers (excluding repeats):

Ratings Breakdown:
ABC ruled Sunday care of game two of The NBA Finals (Cleveland Cavaliers 95, Golden State Warriors 93), which scored an estimated 12.8 rating/22 share in the 8-11 p.m. block. Results for any live sporting event, of course, are estimated. Comparably, this was right on par with the 12.9/23 for game one on Thursday, and that translated into 17.77 million viewers and a 6.9 rating/25 share in adults 18-49 (based on the Live + Same Day data). ABC, no doubt, will score a hefty victory for the week.
Earlier in the evening on ABC, and also approximate of course, was another half-hour edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (#3: 2.8/ 5) and The NBA Countdown (#2: 3.5/ 7) from 7-8 p.m.
CBS was also live last night, and approximate as well, care of “The 69th Annual Tony Awards.” The traditionally older skewing 8-11 p.m. telecast averaged a 5.1/ 8 in the household overnights, which was nine percent below the 5.6/ 9 on the year ago evening. That 5.6 rating in the overnights resulted in 7.3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating/4 share among adults 18-49. Elsewhere, two episodes of “Dateline” on NBC (7 p.m.: #3: 3.1/ 6; 8 p.m.: #3: 3.6/ 6) led into two more low-rated original installments of “A.D. The Bible Continues” (#3: 2.6/ 4) and “American Odyssey” (#3: 1.7/ 3) from 9-11 p.m. And Fox populated the night with encore telecasts of “Bob’s Burgers” (#5: avg. 0.8/ 2 from 7-8 p.m.), “The Simpsons” (#4: 1.2/ 2), “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (#4: 1.0/ 2), “Family Guy” (#4: 1.2/ 2) from 7-9:30 p.m. and episode three of animated “Golan the Insatiable” (#4: 0.8/ 1) at 9:30 p.m.
