Thanks to Justin for the heads up.

UPDATE: Confirmed by lead actress Priyanka Chopra.

ABC has changed its schedule according to its website. Of Kings and Prophets is now slated as 'Coming Soon' whilst Quantico seems to have moved to Sundays at 10, nothing currently has filled the Tuesdays at 10 timeslot. We'll update as we receive more information.

  1. Soo... OUAT - Blood and Oil - Quantico?
Hm.. we'll see how this pans out.

  2. I don't like this at all

    ReplyDelete
  3. I really want this show to do well and I don't think Sundays at 10 is the best time slot for it, especially if Blood and Oil doesn't do well.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Thanks Nirat!

Since I have so many shows to watch on Tuesdays and not that much on Sundays, this is perfect for me (and it won't compete against Limitless so that's also a plus). Really hope it works out for Quantico in the long run since it's one of my most anticipated new shows.

    ReplyDelete
  5. No problem :) Same here, Limitless and this are things I really want to do well.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Which timeslot is worse - Tuesdays at 10 or Sundays at 10?

    ReplyDelete
  7. I initially wanted Quantico to get the Monday at 10 slot so it can have DWTS as a lead-in but alas it didn't :( It's better than Tuesdays at 10 imo. Anyways, crossing my fingers that this timeslot will do well for them!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Definitely Sunday's at 10

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have a feeling that this will be bad for the show.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I really hope they can promote the hell out of the night and make B&O and Quantico both hits. Both are among my TOP 4 most anticipated shows

    ReplyDelete
  11. Me too, I was hoping any new show (Quantico especially) really would get a launch out of DWTS. I'm glad its not at Tuesdays at 10 too, everything dies in that timeslot :(
    Fingers crossed!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I wasn't a fan of the Tuesday time slot, but this looks even worse. Are you trying to kill this ABC?

    ReplyDelete
  13. And oKaP always seemed like midseason show to me with it's limited order, but i wouldn't be disappointed if they canceled it already, it was their worst drama trailer and from what i read in comments online almost nobody liked it

    ReplyDelete
  14. Tuesday, I'd say. More pressure on a Tuesday 10pm show to succeed because ABC need one too. And Sundays are known for being lower rated, so it has some room to move.

Not sure Blood and Oil is a great lead-in though, albeit better than BaO -> Of Kings and Prophets

    ReplyDelete
  15. Yeah every show has died in that Tuesday slot (ex. Body of Proof, Lucky 7, Killer Women, Mind Games, Forever) so it's really not a good one at all. At least with the Sunday slot, there's a bit more chance for Quantico to succeed.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Omg wth is this good or bad I feel like its a bad thing. Ugh I want quantico to do good. What is going to go at Wednesday now.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I still think they should have just switch Shield and Quantico

Quantico would have better lead-in, and they would finally have show with decent ratings at 10

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yeah both timeslots are where shows go to die :(
    Sometimes good ones too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Guys the lead actress just answered me on Twitter, it is moving to Sundays at 10!

    https://twitter.com/priyankachopra/status/605628719110090752

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yess! ABC needs to start promoting the hell out of the show ASAP so everyone knows about it. I really don't want a 666 Park Avenue situation on our hands again.

    ReplyDelete
  21. me too, I really liked that show, that and Last Resort.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm honestly not against this whatsoever. It's certainly better than what ABC did to the show now.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Of Kings and Prophets is better suited as a Lenten miniseries special midseason during the Easter holidays.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I still have summer to make my list of all the shows I'm going to watch(most likely 95% of the new shows) so I haven't researched them all yet, but just saw the promo to

Quantico! Oh shit me likely. and Priyanka Chopra hot hell yea!

    ReplyDelete
  25. blood and oil must be really good if abc wants it at 9. maybe of kings and prophets won't be ready for fall or abc realized it has no chance to succeed (deadline reported they were already working on 15 scripts before the official pick up).
or maybe abc will announce forever is un-canceled and will come back on tuesday at 10 haha

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't necessarily see this move as a bad thing: Sundays at 10 are dead. A show like "Quantico" has a better chance to make some noise on this timeslot, whatever happens with "Blood and Oil", than against two other new shows (Limitless and Neil Patrick Harris Show)...

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it is better, because let's face it Shield's ratings are really low lately + bigger competition

But even through it is better, it is still not very good slot (but maybe Blood & Oil can become huge hit, who knows and it might be amazing lead in)

    ReplyDelete
  28. i think you're right and i think abc sundays are more consistent that way
shield is a bad lead-in : bad ratings and bad compatibility.
big question now : wich show is gonna end up on tuesdays ?

    ReplyDelete
  29. https://twitter.com/BabarSTV/status/605518334314967041

So this is the reason ABC releasded the screeners for all their new shows last night, except OKaP. I was wondering why that was. Maybe it is getting a major retooling or is bad enough that it might get cancelled.

I don't know how I feel about Quantico at Sunday 10, it's an equally bad slot, and wondering what they will put at Tuesdays ay 10, now.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have the exact same feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh man! From one deathslot to another but I guess Sundays is way better but it needs to be promoted like crazy to suceed.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Me too. But Tuesdays at 10 was hardly any better time slot for Quantico.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Better that airing after low-rated AoS.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sunday at 10 is lowest competitive hour on TV. It may to be winner for ABC. Once still okay in ratings, Oil may to be their next big sunday soap, and Quantico has great potential.

    ReplyDelete
  35. But AoS' ratings would most likely tumble if it moved to 10.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Think this is a smart move and could benefit both BiO and Quantico. Just Shield was the one getting a bit . . . In all the moving.
    Maybe Whisperers 1B

    ReplyDelete
  37. I hope the shows does good bc it looks promising

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think this is smart idea. Secrets and Lies had decent ratings for both Spring and Sunday show in that slot, and Shield was a bad lead-in anyway

    ReplyDelete
  39. U've got the Abc screeners! (screaming inside)
Can't wait for the reviews. Did U get Wicked city?

    ReplyDelete
  40. We got all except OKaP. Haven't gotten around to watching them all yet.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Secrets and Lies was at 9, not 10.

    ReplyDelete
  42. BiO?
The Family is hardly compatible with SHIELD.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Blood and Oil, BaO than. I used the serbian word for and not and. Lol.
Honestly I don't think ABC has a show which is really compatible with . Quantico seemed like a really good fit.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think they'd stay exactly the same. It gets a younger male demo that wouldn't mind watching it at 10pm.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think this is a horrible move. To me Quantico looks like it will be male skewing so it would've done nicely after the heavily male skewing AOS.

Also, I highly doubt Blood and Oil ( that's what they're calling it now right?) is doing to rate better than AOS.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Sorry, my bad. I thought Revenge was at 9 and S&L at 10. Now I'm not so happy with new timeslot

    ReplyDelete
  47. I doubt Blood and Oil is gonna do any better.

    ReplyDelete
  48. AOS skews male and Qauntico looks like it will as well. Plus, I doubt Blood and Oil is going to rate better than AOS. I think this is a terrible move.

    ReplyDelete
  49. That's exactly what I'm thinking. This is gonna kill Quantico.

    ReplyDelete
  50. It's not looking good.

    ReplyDelete
  51. This is super weird. I cant really judge the move without knowing what gets tuesdays at 10 but i dont ser anything else pairing well with aos, so I doubt they are able to make a better schedule

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's tricky, I guess it's plausible they'll bring forward Wicked City, which was going to air in that slot at midseason. Or perhaps they've acquired Studio City (though would this even be ready for fall with all the red tape?). Won't be Secrets & Lies, as that would have stayed Sundays if they got it ready in time. The Family, The Catch seem too incompatible with AoS. What else is there?

    ReplyDelete
  53. ABC must have no faith in Of Kings and Prophets. Plus I think they are scared of Limitless, which stand a lot more chance of succeeding head-to-head. Sundays at 10pm is a difficult slot, but it may work because the competition there is really weak, against CSI Cyber. ABC just needs to promote the hell, and who knows, OUAT, Oil and Quantico might actually work. It certainly looks more promising than having OFAP at Sundays 10pm. Seems like ABC Sundays are getting a major push, since the OUAT-Revenge-666 Park Avenue.

    ReplyDelete
  54. It seems like a bad move at the start, but it's getting a SHIELD lead-in of about 1.5, and going against a well led-in and buzzed, and same target demo Limitless on Tuesday. Maybe the expectations of Sundays at 10pm are lesser, where it might be more successful? I do think the Sunday line-up looks a lot more likely to succeed now that OFAP is gone. ABC just has to promote the hell out of the new ABC Sundays. It just might work. ABC apparently has quite a bit of faith in Blood and Oil to put it at such a coveted Sunday 9/8 spot.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Your twitter notifications must be going crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  56. They are :) I wasn't expecting an answer but really humbled I got one.

    ReplyDelete
  57. LOL. That's the only reason I like this move. It gives me something on Sunday's which I currently don't have much.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't think it is terrible simply because the Tuesday timeslot is awful to begin with. The NPH show is likely to hold up on its own, and Limitless is already threatening to take away live viewers from Quantico, as they are similarly skewing, at least for the first few episodes, which we know are the most crucial. Sundays at 10pm is not much better, but at least it has lesser competition, and lower expectations?

    ReplyDelete
  59. The only thing that makes sense to me is a revival of the AOS spinoff, but that seems fairly unlikely. I think they might be putting Secrets and Lies here and just timeshare it with Wicked City although I have no idea why they dont do that on Sundays instead.

Other than the stuff you have mentioned they also have American Crime but I cant imagine it airing after AOS. This is super random

    ReplyDelete
  60. ABC better start promoting their Sundays TGIT-style. They are banking both and perhaps their only new fall dramas to work on Sundays. This totally upped the stakes.

    ReplyDelete
  61. That I totally agree with. I forgot about Limitless, which looks to have a similar target audience and will probably be a hit. I just think BaO is going to flop so it will be a horrible lead in for Quantico and I really want Quantico to succeed.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Definitely! I'm hoping for ABC to promote it like they once did with ABC Sundays "A Little Taste" - OUAT, Revenge and 666 Park Avenue.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I wasn't really looking forward to a soap, but Blood and Oil's trailer seems to have some good production values. ABC is putting BOTH new dramas on Sundays! They better promote the hell out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'm bummed cause I thought AOS was finally going to be surrounded by some good shows, with a boosted FOTB from the Muppets and Quantico which looks to be a hit. I'm sick of AOS being surrounded by shows getting .8-1.0.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Quantico is one of the shows i am looking forward to the most next year but i dont think it will be a hit. This being said, i agree with you since it looked at least compatible with MAOS for a change and it is annoying that ABC cant understand this night needs a flow. But it is really hard to judge without knowing what is coming here instead

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yeah, I guess it depends on what they move there, but looking over the options, I'm not too optimistic.

I'm really looking forward to Quantico too. Why don't you think it will be a hit?

    ReplyDelete
  67. No surprise here. After i saw the trailer of Of Kings and Prophets,i knew it would be a huge flop and apparently so did ABC in due time.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Neither of the timeslots screem hit potential to me. I am also affraid that by trying to cater to too many segments of the audience (girl meets boss scenes + big conspiracy scenes) they end up pushing away too many people who dont like one thing or the other. I can be wrong and I wish to be though

    ReplyDelete
  69. ABC must be either totally miscalculating, or is seeing something amazing in Blood and Oil to give it that 9/8 slot. And I hope they are right, because Blood and Oil's performance will define whether ABC succeeds this fall or not.

    ReplyDelete
  70. OKaP: The new "Astronauts Wives Club"

    ReplyDelete
  71. I rather Quantico at 9 and BaO at 10. And tues at 10 being Wicked City / Agent Carter / The Whispers (or a 13 eps new show, like The Family).

    ReplyDelete
  72. That is terrible! 10/9c is the death slot! Or need i remind everyone of revenge's ratings?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Good for you Nirat!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Watch the Forever fans break out their bingo. :P

Could ABC be moving SHIElD down to launch something at 9? I can understand why they'd pull Prophets but moving Quantico is puzzling.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sigh, I thought AoS/Quantico might make a good action-driven, male-skewing pairing. I desperately need something to give AoS a boost next year, I can't stand to see such an incredible show keep getting such weak numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Quantico is the show I was most looking forward, too, but I'm afraid it won't do well on Sunday! But on the bright side, this does free up my Tuesday a little.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hmm interesting move, im puzzled more about the Tuesday 10pm,maybe Forever gets a sudden renewal or even Studio City enters the scene? OKAP is probably going to be retooled.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Is ABC gonna say something about this or jut keep quiet?

    ReplyDelete
  79. ABC confirmed it look at the fb pages for OKAP and Quantico

    ReplyDelete
  80. Radical idea for Tues (fairly certain it won't happen of course!):

    8:00 Muppets
    8:30 Galavant
    9:00 Fresh Off The Boat
    9:30 Real O'Neals
    10:00 Agents of SHIELD

    ReplyDelete
  81. This is a good schedule, I have to say.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't know how to feel about this other than confused what made them change the schedule.

    ReplyDelete
  83. yesssssss I didn't really like Kings & Prophets don't know why. Yes 2 of my favs on Sundays. Quantico & OUAT.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Bye bye Quanitco

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think it's a mistake.
One- people are used to soapy drama's on Sunday. This is not a soapy drama. They'll have to do A LOT of promotion to rectify people's thinking.
Two- The Walking Dead/The Talking Dead- the gritty drama with insane ratings and the after show with great ratings. I think the demo is going to go with that combo.
Three- Cable shows on Sunday's prove that viewers love to watch TV on Sunday's. The networks just haven't been able to combat those shows.
    Four- Sunday Night Football

I want Quantico to do great. I think it's going to be an amazing show. I don't trust ABC to handle it like they should. With scheduling and promotion.

    ReplyDelete
  86. risky but good schedule. galavant could have worked better if better scheduled.

    ReplyDelete
  87. This is so weird. I wonder if they think Shield's 1.1s won't be a good lead-in for the show. But Sundays at 10 is a terrible timeslot too.

    ReplyDelete
  88. What the hell is happening with ABC this year ?! First, they're recasting a lot of roles and now this ?!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Moving Quantico out of Tuesdays was a good idea because it was not likely to compete against Limitless. The audience that would have watched it will be watching CBS. However, Sundays at 10 PM is a terrible timeslot. It doesn't fit at all with the lineup and Blood and Oil is not likely to be that much higher of a lead in than S.H.I.E.L.D. With cable and football competition, I really don't see how this show finds an audience.

As for Tuesdays at 10 PM, I think ABC should move Castle there and try out a new show Mondays at 10 PM. However, what is most likely is ABC will either bump up Wicked City or slide S.H.I.E.L.D. back an hour.

    ReplyDelete
  90. What the hell ABC? You have no clue what you want to do on Sundays, huh? How 'bout move Nashville there.

    ReplyDelete
  91. But things can definitely change, I believe. NBC's Thursdays use to be amazing, but look at it now. Lol. Things can change with the right show.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I don't see how it's so so bad, as most of you are.
Is it generally an unpopular timeslot for ABC? Yeah, but I think it fits the night's programming a bit better...

    ReplyDelete
  93. I hope it is. They need something other than what they've had the past few years. I just don't have faith they'll promote it like they should. People used to their soapy Sunday lineup won't see how different Quantico is. Even Oil is a more dramatized version of Dallas.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Yeah, I definitely agree. I want this show to succeed, and ABC has to put in that work, which I think they will.. The lead actress was someone they gave a very good talent contract to, and gave her, what they believed to be, their best pilot. Hopefully everything will work out. With this time slot, if it does even reasonable, it'll be renewed... Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Apparently it looks like Abc hasn't learned its lesson about sticking new show in that horrible timeslot.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Sundays at 10 it's a hard time for any network but ABC hasnt found it's foot yet on that time. I have hopes Quantico will do good there. Now Cancel Kings and Propohets and green lights Kingmakers (let me dream people xD)

    ReplyDelete
  97. Sure its the lowest competitive hour but its also a low viewed timeslot. So far whatever Abc has put on there has been canceled.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Out of all of the new shows on Abc I found that Quantico, was the one that had the most potential. Its a shame that that it now won't succeed cause Abc has now given it a death sentence by putting it in a horrible timeslot.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Can any show succeed at Sundays 10pm besides The Talking Dead? In hindsight I think ABC should have kept GCB on.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Its at least is compatible with Shield. Its not compatible at all with the Sunday lineup.

    ReplyDelete
  101. You may be right. I still think Marvel might object to such a move, though, because other than the Netflix shows they're trying to market all of their projects as "family-friendly". And shows in that category don't air at 10.

    ReplyDelete
  102. http://t.co/6rOqWN1dNb

@Nirat Anop here is a confirmation on TVLine saying Of Kings and Prophets will undergo retooling!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh yeah just because Kings and prophets sucks, quantico has to suffer?! Whoever made this decision must have fallen down the Stairs and bumped his head

    ReplyDelete
  104. https://twitter.com/TVMoJoe/status/605785360849715201

    ReplyDelete
  105. I really don't think this is such a bad idea. ABC even though sometimes clueless usually schedules very well. They certainly have their reasons and Sundays 10 pm really isn't a competitive time slot ( CSI Cyber and what football on NBC? ).

I'm really intrigued to see what will drop into that Tuesday slot.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Cheers for the heads up!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Interesting. Really interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I wanted to watch this after AOS. Plus I don't watch new episodes of a show on the weekend. This is a bummer

    ReplyDelete
  109. Not sure this is any better than the old timeslot but I wish it well. I am really looking forward to this show.

    ReplyDelete
  110. It might actually be better too. Both slots are horrible for ABC, or maybe ABC just haven't found the right show too. Many shows on ABC failed on Wednesdays 10pm too until Revenge and to a lesser extent Nashville. Pan Am had a huge sample at the start.
