Update 3rd June: Here are some potential storyline details
Not surprisingly, like the much lauded Season 1 of the original series, I hear the new installment likely would chronicle a prison break, focusing again on brothers Michael (Miller) and Lincoln (Purcell) — possibly trading places — who might be joined by a third co-lead character. I hear the idea is for many original cast members to reprise their roles with cameos in the limited series.

ORIGINAL POST
Fox is developing a limited-series revival of its 2005-09 drama series that would re-team stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, TVLine has learned exclusively.
Details are sketchy, but I hear the reunion project — if it happens — would be similar to last year’s 24: Live Another Day in that it would span a dozen or so episodes and feature a closed-ended storyline.
Earlier this year, Miller — who reunited with former TV bro Purcell this past season on The CW’s The Flash — told E! News that he “floated the idea” of a Prison Break continuation to Fox and “they seemed to think there was something there.” Fox co-chairman Gary Newman acknowledged at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour in January that Prison Break would make “the perfect event series,” but added that there were no current plans to bring the Fox River gang back together

...isn't Michael dead?
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta be kidding me. First 24: LAD, then X-Files and now this? FOX has officially run out of ideas.
ReplyDeleteThe only way this could work if it is a prequel since one of the 2 leads died, but even then, how many prisons must one break out of?
prequel?
ReplyDeleteThat's a great new ! I hope Sarah Wayne Callies, Robert Knepper and Amaury Nolasco will be involved !
ReplyDeleteBut of them doing what? Wasn't Michael a jerky big shot prior to Lincoln's arrest?
ReplyDeleteSarah Tancredi was dead until the writers decided she wasn't anymore.
ReplyDeleteI never watched the show. I just know that Miller's character died.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I remember.
ReplyDeletesomeome might understand the other two but id agree on that.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there's not much there for a prequel. Lincoln and Michael were estranged, IIRC. And a prequel would exclude everyone they met at Fox River.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting a bit ridiculous now. It seems like a lot of new shows seem to be films getting turned into series, comic book adaptions, remakes or revivals. Now some work and I know the industry is scared with making bold choices but I don't think its going to help them in the long term if they stuck in this creative rut. Give me something new, something different, something that doesn't make me roll my eyes because I've heard it all before or in some cases actually seen it the exact characters and stories before.
ReplyDeleteFOX, get some new ideas. 24 (admittedly I love it and LAD, but another one without Jack?), X Files, now Prison Break. Plus with Gracepoint and Luther in development (no idea what came of that), they are really running out of original ideas.
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea how I feel about this. I loved the first two seasons and 4A, but 3 and 4B were a mess. And they wrapped things up anyway. A prequel doesn't sound very interesting and if they come out of nowhere and go "yeah, Michael didn't die at the end" then someone will really deserve imprisonment.
I guess. They'd have to say Michael was being held prisoner and that's why he never reunited with Sarah and their son.
ReplyDeleteI don't care how or why it happens. If there is a continuation of Prison Break with Wentworth, it means that stupid, worst finale in the history of TV, was a LIE and I am ok with that. I'll take Prison Break any way I can get it. Preferably with the S1 writers.
ReplyDeleteI mostly disliked disliked this shiw after season 1 anyway.
ReplyDeleteThey have to be. I need William Fitchner too.
ReplyDeleteYou get a revival, you get a revival, you get a revival! Honestly, this show really went downhill in S3 (and don't even get me started on that god awful finale). I'll check out the new season if FOX picks it up to series, but I really hope they can bring the same quality of brilliance as S1.
ReplyDeleteUnless they re-write canon and Michael faked his death to give them all a clean slate without being hunted.
ReplyDeleteHow long until they announce a Firefly revival?
ReplyDeleteFitchner or bust! He was superb by the end.
ReplyDeleteMovies have mostly been like that for ages now, but I would not say tv is quite there yet. But it's getting there quite quickly.
ReplyDeleteIf Fox is really that desperate for a successful shows then maybe an Empire spin off would be best
ReplyDeleteGuys if you don't like the idea : just don't watch ! I mean nobody forces you to watch any old shows which are back. There's plenty of shows which are created each year.
ReplyDeleteFox is out of ideas.
ReplyDeleteI remember being happy that Mahone hooked up with his FBI lady friend lol.
ReplyDeleteIs he not the greatest? I love him. He can play anything.
ReplyDeleteI'm still secretly holding out hope for that even though it's next to impossible at this point :(
ReplyDeleteYes, Michael died in the finale film, The Final Break
ReplyDeleteUgh nooo. Why? What's else is going to get revived ugh.
ReplyDeleteHa, yes I quite liked that too.
ReplyDeleteNo no no I am dreading this not everything needs a spinoff but I know it'll be unavoidable.
ReplyDeleteYep, he had so much variation in the show. His arc in season 4 with his dead family is still my favourite of the show.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteABC and CBS have been left behind in the revival game. Any ideas for them?
ReplyDeleteFOX has dozens upon dozens of excellent shows they had for only a season, and most of them failed due to poor scheduling and lack of patience from former execs... Why not remake one them?
ReplyDeleteFreakylinks, Harsh Realm, Pasadena, The Inside, Drive, Dark Angel (well maybe not this but something similar could work), New Amsterdam, Point Pleasant, Night Visions, Roar, Strange Luck, John Doe, Kindred: The Embraced, The Pitts, Keen Eddie.... I'd be thrilled if any of these were retooled and brought back.
Alias was rumored a few years ago, I guess without the mythology aspect but I can't imagine they need another spy show. Then there is the awful idea of them rebooting Lost which would make me scream.
ReplyDeleteI'd love ABC to remake either "Veritas: The Quest" or "Miracles" from 2003, of their successful shows, I don't want any of them brought back yet.
ReplyDeleteWe have to go baaaaaacccccckkkkk!!!!!
ReplyDeleteActually, ABC, we don't.
CBS is in the spin off everything game lol.
ReplyDeleteJericho for CBS
ReplyDeleteIf they bring back Alias it needs MORE mythology not less. Every time the show really got good and started to delve into the more mystical stuff you could tell suddenly where they must have received a network note about it. SO ANNOYING.
ReplyDeleteAll they really have to do is just redo the last season but this time actually make it good
ReplyDeleteI agree I love the mythology but I can so see them just forgetting it all together which would be boring.
ReplyDeleteLol, that's true.
ReplyDeletebig question is how you do it when michael is dead and there isn't much that can be covered in prequel if you watched show
ReplyDeleteReviving old shows is definitely the new thing. I would not be surprised if USA Network revives Monk (it still had great ratings when they ended it) I would be here for this to happen ^^
ReplyDeleteYou get a reboot, you get a reboot, everyone gets a reboot (except Lost).
ReplyDeletelet's see this happen very soon.
ReplyDeleteShows I actually want to see revived but won't happen because the networks and Netflix keep bring back shows I mostly don't need more off. I do need more of Pushing Daisies, The Middleman, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronciles, Alphas, Terriers, Caprica, Deadwood, Happy Endings, Enlightened....
ReplyDeleteThis starts to smell desperate.
ReplyDeleteI mean the 24 revival was well recived, x files has a lot of positive buzz and this could work for them. But I don't get how these will help the network in the long run.
God i 'm actually rewatching it now, the 1st season is one of the best i've ever seen. But it's tricky, people died, they need to get it right.
ReplyDelete24 LAD was pretty good, but it was nothing special and way too predictable.
ReplyDeleteThey could revive some of the great GA characters. ^^
ReplyDeleteI don't care how anyone else feels about this if it happens. It's something I've wanted for a long time. If the quality is S1 standard, even better. S1 was such great television. I still have reviews on my old desktop written by fav critics. I couldn't bring myself to delete them.
ReplyDeleteand yet it was still a good show, better than most.
ReplyDeletePretty good show and the idea of 24 without Jack Bauer is utterly stupid.
ReplyDeleteWasn't this show bad at ratings after season 1 and that's why they decided to end it?
ReplyDeleteI heard good stuff about it and the ratings were okay, not really a fan of the show.
ReplyDeleteThis show gave me life ! The only one show I was pissed to wait three months to get the second part of the season ! And the summer break was horrible lol
ReplyDeleteagreed xD
ReplyDeleteI mean it is a good concept they just need to find a decent cast and write a good story for it. But I mean it will be a really tough job to find someone in his 20s to rack that type of role.
ReplyDeleteWow... I have no words.
ReplyDeleteI guess this will be next
http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/04/abc-developing-lost-spinoff-starring.html
I don't like it at all and most 24 fans are against it as well. 24 without Jack is not 24.
ReplyDelete24 without Jack is a waste of time. Well, it might be good, but it won't be 24.
ReplyDeleteYou never actually see Michael die. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely true. If they wanted a proper spinoff, Tony should be the main character.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but it would be even more ridiculous than Sara coming back.
ReplyDeleteI understand that. Kiefer nailed that role, at least the stuff I saw from him. Still I don't think they will go with a 24 ep season again, to huge to handle.
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to see where they go with this idea. Everyone thought CBS would revive Charmed just cause they started develop it and they just dropped it.
Yeah. Though not as a villain. Main reason why I dislike season 7.
ReplyDeletealso true, but i would preferred that to a prequel.
ReplyDeleteIt would be 12 episodes like LAD.
ReplyDeletePerhaps another governmentt type conspiracy that involved Kellermen.
ReplyDeleteNah. Faked deaths are one of my most hated plot points in tv so bringing him back would be a joke.
ReplyDeleteBut then the prequel just wouldn't be interesting enough.
I actually liked season 7. Have you seen the Tony scene in the LAD dvd, why would they waste that?
ReplyDeleteOh god. So many conspiracies.
ReplyDeleteMe too, i thought Tony was a pretty good bad guy.
ReplyDeleteSeason 7 was good quality-wise, but I didn't like what they did with Tony. Problem being that now they would have to follow through with it, which I continually wouldn't like. So it's a tricky one for me.
ReplyDeleteLOL, well that was the basic mythology of the show. THE COMPANY.
ReplyDeleteexatcly, if you bring back Michael, it has to be the last Michael, with all his experince and with Sara.
ReplyDeleteI know, but it just got ridiculous by the time Self was revealed to be working against the group.
ReplyDeleteI just want Season 10 to be the last. The story would be something like this, Tony would get a deal out of jail by saving Jack in the gulag. They would work together to fight off the enemy and 1 or both would die in the series finale.
ReplyDeleteHmm, that sounds good.
ReplyDeleteThanks. They basically set it up like this, but now it's 24 spinoff without Jack. UGH
ReplyDeleteYea the last season wasn't that good.
ReplyDeleteI always hated Self, Michael Rapaport is such a bad actor.
ReplyDeleteLol, he wasn't the best.
ReplyDeleteNow CW do a Secret Circle reboot. I miss a proper witch show on my tv.
ReplyDeleteSure as long as 24 dies too, i would love that ending.
ReplyDelete4A was so good. So good. Then Self revealed himself as a bad guy and Michael's mother was alive and it went downhill at the speed of light.
ReplyDeleteWhoever at FOX thinks that a 24 spinoff without Jack is a good idea should just stop thinking.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw him cast I was disappointed. I always saw him as a comedian.
ReplyDeletebingo, i hated Michael's mother plot.
ReplyDeleteAgreed
ReplyDeleteThey'd already 'killed' and revived what felt like 100 characters and Michael's mother just took it too far.
ReplyDeleteyeah it sounded forced. Too bad because the first part of the season was great. I loved the plot with Cress William playing cold blooded hired killer.
ReplyDeleteThere were many continuity errors.
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't think we needed LAD, it was welcome sight, but we sure didn't need it. I loved how the "series finale" ended.
ReplyDeletetrue but like you said it was a welcome return, and you just can't say no to Jack Bauer xD.
ReplyDeleteWhat are your best to worst seasons? Go!
ReplyDeleteBest: 5, 2, 1, 4, 7, 3, 8, 6
ReplyDeleteFavourite: 5, 4, 2, 1, 3, 8, 6, 7
If I can split 3 into half seasons then it'd be:
5, 3B, 2, 1, 4, 7, 8, 3B, 6 and 5, 4, 3B, 2, 1, 8, 6, 3A, 7
Don't forget LAD
ReplyDeleteHa, I did completely. Hard to fit compare it because it was a short season. But probably between 2 and 1 for best and 4 and 2 for favourite (i.e. 3rd in both)
ReplyDeleteBring back Fringe there is so much you can do with the show. Considering you have more universes and time travel.
ReplyDelete5, 7, 4, 8, 3, LAD, 2, 1, 6.
ReplyDeleteThat best? Harsh to list LAD and the first two seasons so low imo. First two weren't the intense, break-neck action ones that 4, 5, LAD etc were but they were still really good.
ReplyDeleteAt least we both agree on the best and worst season lol
The more I think about LAD the worst it is for me. I know we would both agree on the best and worst season. I knew the rest would be different.
ReplyDeleteHow come? There really isn't much question over the best and worst really. I was rewatching the first 13 minutes of S5 earlier and it's just so sublime.
ReplyDeleteThey shoud renew TRU CALLING rather!
ReplyDeleteThe underwhelming first villain, another mole (their just had to be one to be 24 lol), was just too predictable, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd Season 6 had a great beginning and then it collapsed. They ran out of ideas and just reused all of them from the prior seasons.
ReplyDeleteUgh. No. Like dear Valerie Cherish would say : “I don't need to see that !“
ReplyDeleteHa yea it's like 24 is not 24 without Jack Bauer and moles.
ReplyDeleteYeah lol the typical mole. I wouldn't have said that Margot was underwhelming. She was way better than some we've had. I can see your point that it was predictable though.
ReplyDeleteThe good episodes of season 6 consisted of the premiere and 10pm-11pm (where Jack killed Fayed). That was it.
ReplyDeleteI knock them down because it has too much of Kim and that infamous scene from season 2 lol.
ReplyDeleteLol. But ignore the cougar (well, ignore most of Kim's story except for the phone call in 10pm-11pm and her killing Gary) and it's a hell of a season.
ReplyDelete1st of all, i could watch 10 season more of Fringe, but i feel they gave it a pretty satisfyng ending.
ReplyDeleteYea i loved that scene.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good season, but it's still in the back of my list for me.
ReplyDeleteFair enough. It did have the best episode of the show imo though.
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing episodes, almost impossible to choose.
ReplyDeleteyaaaas
ReplyDeleteThere were, and I could probably make a case for a load more episodes, but 10pm-11pm was just outstanding for me. Story, acting and Callery's score (he won the Emmy for the ep) just came together amazingly well.
ReplyDeleteThat one is definitely in my top list.
ReplyDeleteI tried this show last Summer but couldn't get through the first season, I would have dropped it sooner but I really liked Wentworth Miller. Too many revivals on one network if you ask me but great for the fans I guess.
ReplyDeleteMy bet is next season
ReplyDeleteReally? That was an incredible season for me. I'm actuslly curious at what you didn't like.
ReplyDeleteI just got bored with it, it's not my usual type of thing anyway, sci-fi, fantasy and horror are my favourite genres with a few exceptions like HTGAWM and GA etc.
ReplyDeleteI understand why execs like limited series but this is the 3rd one at FOX. Can someone at FOX please come up with new ideas. Redoing old shows is not imaginative in the least.
ReplyDeleteI am so angry right now. I got home and I saw this and I was staring at my laptop for a while before reacting. Prison Break was the first TV series that really sucked me in and to this day it remains one of my favorite TV shows; certainly it wasn't a perfect series throughout its 4 year run but I faithfully enjoyed it up until the very end despite its flaws and when it was good, it was mind blowing goo. Because it was the first, it also has a very special meaning for me, in addition to the aforementioned fact that I genuinely love it. To see FOX drag it down the mud and air it now when the ending DOES NOT ALLOW FOR THAT AT ALL!!! and with the numbers already so low to begin with seems insane to me. Why would they have to do this. Urgh!
ReplyDeleteFringe wouldn't have me angry at all considering there is so much to explore there.
ReplyDeleteOh i see, i'm actually more of a sci-fi, fantasy type of shows myself, but i loved the idea of Michael's tatoo and how he mapped every step of his plan in it.
ReplyDeleteIf they do that...
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you Bradley! 4A was so, so good and gets a lot of hate undeservedly. I think Selfless is to this day one of my favorite episodes of the entire series, my heart almost dropped multiple times during the episode, I remember the day I was watching it so well! But then the mother alive and Linc not being her son and all was horrible.
ReplyDeleteWe've had this conversation before and while I don't really crave anything else from the Lost universe right now, I could at least be open to it at some point since the universe had so much to explore. But forcing Prison Break to come back is a whole other thing to me.
ReplyDeleteOn another topic, I am 100% convinced that this is all about getting those shows that ended just short of the 88 to reach those so that syndication packages can be done. See Heroes as well!
because they don't have any ideas anymore xD, so they recycle ideas and shows to hopefully revive and continue those shows. I don't like that at all, but what can you do...
ReplyDeleteI do not understand how someone doesn't revive Happy Endings. That one is beyond me. Terra Nova, V and Revolution as well for me. And I am quite happy with the idea of the Heroes reboot as well since the concept allows for that and it was an incredibly good concept. Prison Break is one of my favorite classic shows but it really doesn't allow itself for a new season, this is annoying.
ReplyDeleteLost will for sure get it. It may take 2 years or 10 years but it will happen.
ReplyDeleteGA Cemetery lol
ReplyDeleteI normally agree 100% with that idea and I say that to people quite often but I feel here is different. I personally feel so emotionally close to this show that to see it being dragged down from the dead just for FOX to reach the 88 episodes it wants for the syndication package and to hurt the closed ending it got all those years ago is really annoying to me.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure it will happen
ReplyDeleteAt least they gave up on the horrible idea of an Ebola centric series. I couldn't believe that one
ReplyDeleteWilliam Fitchner was the best actor of the show, he was so amazing
ReplyDelete4A was so awesome. Helps that it featured my favourite arc of the series with Mahone's dead family. Man. Fitchner is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI was practically screaming at my screen for the first five or so minutes of Selfless before I went "OHHHHHHH" upon realising it was planned. That was such an amazing episode, until the last five minutes when Self was revealed as a bad guy, and I wished that we had season 3 back, because even that was better.
I had forgotten that was ever proposed. Probably for the best.
ReplyDeleteEasily. He pulled off absolutely everything he was given with serious style.
ReplyDeleteI didn't mind the turn of Self being bad per se and I thought some of his scenes with Gretchen in subsequent episodes were ok. My big problem with 4B was the mother plot. But I have to say that even that awful, awful idea led to some great scenes and I truly enjoyed the finale with all the returns and all. But yeah watching Selfless was breathtaking, really bad for the heart. And I loved seeing Sara stepping up and going after Lisa.
ReplyDeleteI agree entirely with the Mahone's comment. Watching the evolution of the relationship beteen Mahone and Michael (and then Linc in S4) was one of the best parts of the series. Man, we have similar tastes!
Yes, it's best not to speak about to give them any ideas.
ReplyDeleteI actually have Crossing Lines in my never ending line of stuff I would like to watch just for him, that's how much I like him.
ReplyDeleteI'd say 'but Michael is dead', but nobody on this show stayed dead- Sarah, their parents... What is up with Fox? Not gonna lie, I loved the show (when it was good) and I'd be intrigued by a revival, but how would they do it and is it really necessary?
ReplyDeleteI just got bored of the endless 'you can trust character X, oh no wait no you can't because they're working against you'. And the mother plot was atrocious. Again, another overused awful plot - bringing back supposedly dead characters. I loved the finale but the rest of 4B sucked hard.
ReplyDeleteYou just couldn't not like Mahone imo. Even in season 2 when he was working for the Company and was an pain in Michael's ass, you couldn't help but like him. He was one of the few things that the show got right all the way through.
I'd add it to mine but it's such an under the radar show I would never watch it because there would always be something else to watch that is 'better'. Cast him in a big movie and I'll go see that.
ReplyDelete24:LaD worked well the way it did as the character outcomes after the "series finale" allowed for a believable continuation, but I really don't know how this project would work given the pretty 'final" circumstances that others have mentioned regarding some of the characters. I enjoyed S1 of the show, but it fell off for me and I gave it up early in S2.
ReplyDeleteOh God!!!! Seriously!!!! They have no ideas left? Non whatsoever? I mean, what are they going to do, have Zombie!Michael break out of a prison? Of how many prisons can a group of characters get put into and break out of? This is getting ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteMichael is dead, if they don't pull another "Oh look, he's been alive all the time again" I don't see how
ReplyDeleteOh, and no Prison Break is complete without Robert Knepper!
I agree on Mahone. And Season 3 wasn't thaaat horrible. The finale was pretty amazing, I loooved their plan of using Lechero as the bait and then coming under water and all. Such amazing twists. It was also the first time we had Michael and Mahone working together for real, inside Sona.
ReplyDeleteAs for 4B I understand. I remember also disliking it at the time but since I knew it was ending already I had that emotional attachment already. It was a big deal for me back then, I really didn't watch 1/4 of the TV I watch today. But yeah the mother plot was atrocious.
I feel you. It has been on mine perpetually too. But now they've added a personal TV goodess of mine in the form of Elizabeth Mitchell so they are really trying to get me there lol.
ReplyDeleteI personally felt Robert Knepper overstayed his presence on the show. The actor was so good that the writers kept finding contrived ways of getting him back even when it really wasn't needed. He certainly wasn't needed at all for S4 and had a mostly unnecessarily plot. Unlike others, his character was never slightly redeemable so that limited what could be done with him after a while.
ReplyDeleteI can see them having faked his death so they could be "free." It's the only way to do a sequel. I'd want the entire cast back. Even Sarah. Especially Michael, Mahone, Sucre and T-Bag.
ReplyDeleteIt's revival's fever! I want a Firefly, Dark Angel and Stargate Universe limited series revival!
ReplyDeleteand yet his character was the only PB character that crossed over to the spin-off
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that bad, no, but it certainly wasn't good, And it was a serious step down from the first two seasons. Finale was pretty great though.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I knew I had 10 episodes left so just went with it. But I wasn't very happy about it. I watched it mostly over last summer so had little else to watch, so I enjoyed it in that regard of having something to watch. But it was still wearing thin on me by the end. I mean, who thought bringing back their mother and making Linc not her son was a good idea?
Ha, true. But if I watched every show that had people I loved in then my list would be about 10x as long lol
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I always ignore that whole Linc was not her son thing. And in general I like to ignore the mother plot as a whole even lol, it works better that way.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's a good plan.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably the size of my list lol
ReplyDeleteThere's absolutely no need for a Prison Break revival. Every single aspect of the show was wrapped up and by the fourth season, viewers were over it. This is a terrible idea.
ReplyDeleteFOX doesn't have any creativity. It's all adaptions of known properties or revivals.
ReplyDeleteCHUCK Movie or limited revival please!!
ReplyDeleteThey can simply redo the ending.
ReplyDeleteI binge watched this last year. I would be thrilled if it did happen.
ReplyDeleteI want a Dark Angel revival so badly. It is still my favorite show.
ReplyDeleteThat's ridiculous, especially since the show was pretty terrible after the first season. Why would we need more of this?
ReplyDeleteNo please. it ended up kinda bad but let it end.
ReplyDeletehate prequels
ReplyDeleteStop doing this Fox.
ReplyDeleteFOX: our present has nothing, let's revive the past.
ReplyDeleteFor the tons of trash we talk about NBC, they have done it only twice (Heroes and Coach, which was an ABC show they produced).
FOX is already at the third revival.
Season 4 was terrible. Completely and utterly terrible. I have YET finished the two-part finale. I started it. Sarah's in jail, Michael's going to break her out? Oh Lord. I just couldn't handle it. I loved season 1, season 2, and season 3. It took me about three months to get through season 4 (excluding the finale) on Netflix.
ReplyDeleteIf Fox can put together something amazing and thrilling for Prison Break, I'm game. But season 4 is seared into my brain. It would have to be something extraordinary to get me excited.
Ugh. I liked Prison Break, but come one... This needs to stop. There is absolutely no story left to tell here. Stop beating dead horses, Fox.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if USA network regret not picking up Happy Endings. They ended up deciding to go with their own comedies which were good shows like Sirens and Benched but apart from Playing House they cancelled them all. They could have had solid ratings with Happy Endings.
ReplyDeleteI need a gif of someone in a room demolishing everything that isn't nailed down.
ReplyDeletetsk tsk tsk
Aren't Wentworth and Purcell locked in to do Legends of Tomorrow? Evil thought...I hope that the CW has them in first position for Legends of Tomorrow.
yeeeeees :D
ReplyDelete*shakes head*... just... No...
ReplyDeleteI was a huge fan and I'm in as long as Michael Scaufield and Sara Tancredi are back, and not because they were romantically involved, but because they were a great team. Romance was just the logical consequence of the bond they shared.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Sana will be back since Sarah Wayne Callies is going to be in the new series Colony.
ReplyDeleteThis was announced awhile ago. Given it's been so slow, suggests creatively they are a bit stunted. Personally, I really like the show, but it was at it's best with its Prison setting (not Sonya). It's hard to contrive another set-up like that, unless you take them to a new Alcatraz or futuristic setting or something.
ReplyDeleteHe did, but there is a minuet chance he could have survived.
ReplyDeleteHello, Minority Report.
ReplyDeleteI'd take Knepper & Nolasco back. Get a new female character on board.
ReplyDeleteActually, at that time, FOX said that they'd like to do a Prison Break revivial.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with networks, fox in particular trying to revive everything these days. Havent they got any NEW ideas. All the old shows where cancelled or ended for a reason, because they ran their course. Let them rest in peace and come up with some new shows
ReplyDeleteDear FOX, the whole trading places thing has already been done - it was called Season 3. Please get to know your own show before doing this.
ReplyDeleteI actually think Heroes, 24 and X-Files were somehow justifiable, creatively speaking (I didn't actually watch 24 but my understanding from people's comments is that it was doable). Coach I have no clue whatsoever. But reviving Prison Break, a show which by the way I personally adored with passion, is just sad; the plot was as run out as it would ever get for any show.
ReplyDeleteAren't both leads of this show a bit busy?..
ReplyDeleteReally fox!!! I enjoyed gang related, but they canceled that, prison break was ok until like the 2nd season then I was over it, No don't bring it back.
ReplyDeleteA Lost continuation 'spin-off' that focuses on Hurley's rein of the island with his second in command Ben by his side ... 23 years after Kate, Sawyer, Claire, Miles, Frank, and Richard escaped on the Ajira jetliner ... with cameo 'ghost' appearances by Boone, Shannon, Charlie Juliet, Sayid, Jin, Sun, Michael, Ana Lucia, Libby, Eko, Charlotte, Daniel, Nikki, Paulo, Alex, Jacob, Locke, Jack, Rose, Bernard, Christian, Pierre Chang, Danielle, Kelvin, Tom, Bea, Ethan, Goodwin, Roger, Leslie, Edward, Mikhail, Karl, Dogen, Radzinsky, Charles, and Eloise, and cameo appearances by Kate, Sawyer, Claire, Richard, Rose, Bernard, MiB, and Vincent ... as well as a whole new set of Castaways that include Aaron, Ji-Yeon, Walt and the off spring of Kate & Sawyer, Claire & Richard, and Desmond & Penny.
ReplyDeleteThat's okay if they bring back Sarah Wayne Callies !!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Fox has ever considered doing a House spinoff? The way the show ended with Chase taking his place kind of made me wonder if they left it open for a show about him. Of course, it would have to wait until Chicago Fire ended, and it wouldn't be as good without Hugh Laurie, but I've always wondered especially with all of these shows being revived.
ReplyDeletewhy? there is no need for this. the show ended leave it alone.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading all of these comments. I'm lmao. I hope like hell it does happen. If it's not for you, so be it. It's for somebody.
ReplyDelete
