  1. - I don't think getting the DOD guy to Africa was about finding that thing. I think it was about getting him away from Nina and Minx.

  2. This is getting more and more insane!

  3. Drill's mind games are making me crazy.

  4. I didn't really see mind games in this episode actually, what were they?

  5. Claire discovered that Drill manipulated Wes into going back to Africa for that "tree" through a series of events that led him to that point.

  6. Ah ok, i thought you meant with the kids, do you think Drill doesn't have a physical body? Like he has to possess a body and he's he's inside that glowing rock and he'll possess Wes?

  7. We may have to tune in to find out.

And Drill used the kid with the afro to lead Wes on to Africa.

  8. So today's the day the actors' contracts with the show expire. ABC needs to make a decision on its fate this week or sooner.

  9. You sound like a producer when you said "tune in" LOL and what kid? Ethan?

  10. Oh my God you're kidding! Come on ABC!

  11. I'm flattered. :D

And the kid I'm referring to was the one who made a fake volcano, called up her mom who works as Wes' secretary.

  12. LOL and yeah that's who i meant, so you think Drill has been watching Wes and knew when he would come into his office investigating the Fulgurite and the volcano was just a cover to get Wes to Mali?

  13. Started off watching this show thinking it could be cool... and now it's like bring on next week... I MUST know what the hell is going on!

  14. If it's what the show is making us believe to be the case I guess.

  15. Ok, and do you think Bennigan has a piece of the Fulgurite inside him? Because every time they dug into the sand he was thrashing around like it hurt him.

  16. I think we're getting a little too ahead but if it's a classic sci-fi trope of him getting possessed then I hope it would be the case.

  17. Okay, it was just the way Wes is looking at it and in the promo he looked like he's going to touch it.

  18. Oh wow another awesome episode. It just keeps surprising. Bring on next week!!

  19. Another solid episode. Loving this show so far.

  20. It reminds me of Under the Dome Season 1. I was looking forward to it each week... now, I'm on the verge of cancelling it. Funny how I only watched the pilot of The Whispers out of boredom and now I can't wait for the new episodes.

  21. Lena bothers me. Her so called "partner" has been throwing shade since day one. Wonder what he wants.

  22. I was surprised he's watching her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wasn't. I thought his character was a little fishy.

  24. It was a more quiet and contained episode, but after all that excitement we got I liked the feeling of winding down.

I also think I've firmly concluded: I do NOT like Wes... at all!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Re Lena: She bothers me too... but I kinda feel for her most of the time...

Re Claire's Partner (Lawrence is it?): I think originally he's been put on Claire's detail by his higher ups to monitor her. Why? I have no idea yet... but I think he does actually like her, so he might flip on them and side with her in the end.

  26. No Lawrence is Wes, her partner's Jessup.
