"Witch Wars is intensifying as battles are waged across the lines with heroes on both sides.............." wait a minute...........that sounds like the opening narration to a George Lucas "Space Opera Prequel", but you know what I mean! The "exchange" between Countess and Mary, then Mary and Tituba was pretty cool and built - up the tension for the coming rescue attempt/final battle of the season. On the other hand I didn't like the Countess' "perv - fiend" of a son sealing the "good doctors" fate nor the part Mary played in it, but "Witch Wars" do have there casualties too. What part will Anne Hale and Cotton Mather play in the coming battle between Mary and the Countess. The acting has been superb this season, especially from Stuart Townsend, Lucy Lawless, and Stephan Lang (good old Increase is missed). 4 WITCH WARS AND THE CHAOS THAT FOLLOWS, I am Nobody!!!
I had a feeling the good doctor would die this episode, he was totally on board, he and Mary were kinda happy and once he lied to the Magistrate, there wasn't much use for him for the show. I love what a little sh!t Sebastian is, I find him fun to watch. I'm glad Mary and John finally had a talk and she came clean about everything. I wish we would have learned about his ritual and what exactly it means, but maybe when the Shaman comes back in episode 11 we'll get some answers on that front. I kinda love the idea of a witch and (failed) witch hunter teaming up to save their son. Now I'm conflicted on if I want the ritual to succeed with the devil coming to earth, or if I want Mary and John to successfully rescue their son and stop the ritual.
They seem to bring alot of characters back from the dead, even if for just a short while. I wish Mary would find a way to bring the doctor back. He just went too fast, and it seemed they spent the entire season building up his character. Just seems a waste to kill him so fast.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hope there's some way the doctor comes back. I'm totally not happy with him just being dead. I was really starting to like him.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Mary finally told John about his son, but I still feel John didn't say enough about why he did everything.
