I was disappointed. I don't understand why she didn't kill the Countess right there by burning her and her corpse. Looks like Dollie is dead. Poor Isaac. I liked the scene of John and his son meeting. And Anne and Cotton's wedding was sweet. Didn't like the ending with Mary being led off for adultery. One interesting thing, they do keep saying the doctor isn't technically dead, he is alive in hell, so I'm guessing if they keep bringing it up, they might mean to bring him back at some point.
I'm guessing maybe the doctor is Sebastian's "eat your cake and have it whole" way of appeasing both Mary and his mother- maybe somehow they can move the devil into the good doctor, who is already baptized by the pits of hell. That way he can be the vessel for the dark lord, while Mary gets her son back, win-win.
Yep my theory is that he will rise as the dark lord the Countess wants, he will eb teh second one leaving hell after Dante as Sebastian explained in the last chapter.
Why didnt Mary do a stronger fire?, C'mon Mary, you are better than that. The scene where she saw Isaac was sweet and heartbreaking the same as when he found Dolly, I really hope there is still some life in her. Now Mary being drag to eb shamed for adultery will be an interesting thing. Will Isaac step up to help her? Seeing as he was shamed and branded once.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
