HOLY CRAP!! Frigging intense episode! I loved this! One of my favorite episodes. Major! Ravi! Payton! Poor Liv! Full on Zombie on Zombie violence! Crazy! This is my new favorite show on television, besides Walking Dead. Love the humor, the premise, the way Liv takes on the personality traits, the officer's facial expressions as Liv acts things out, just..perfect. Please let this show continue with this quality for years!
HOLY CHEESEBALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was an insane episode!!!! I did not expect Peyton to find out like that, i think we take for granted how cool Ravi is about this whole zombie thing that we just expect all of her friends to be okay with it. That Full-On-Zombie fight was so AWESOME!!!!!!! I have absolutely no idea what to expect in the season finale!!!
Awesome ep. And I love Bex Taylor-Klaus. I hope she becomes a regular on this show. That was such a sad ending. And poor Ravi, Peyton ran away. I hope she comes back more understanding of Liv's situation. And Major is in trouble. This was a great ep. I even loved the zombie vs zombie fight scene with Liv and the psycho.
I think it was actually the first time we saw that psycho have a heart. Bex has "Scream" so... plus she's zombie chow right now so i doubt it. Yeah that ending was very depressing.
OMG, this may have been the best episode so far from the show. My heart was racing during those last 5 minutes with Liv vs. Sebastian and Peyton finding out the truth about zombies and Major now being held captive by Blaine and afl;ajdjfaidaeidu SO AWESOME! And don't you dare touch a hair on Evan's head, Blaine! Just another way to mess with Liv big time.
Sidenote: Liv's peppy and stoner personalities were absolutely hilarious XD So much fun with her walking around eating that "edible" lollipop. Yum ;) and I really hope that Peyton doesn't resent Liv for keeping what she is a secret from her for so long. Liv knew that she was going to react in fear and that's why she kept it from her :( Let's just hope that they'll fix their relationship soon. And how adorable was Ravi in that Jimmy Stewart-esque suit?! I got heart eyes at that moment lol. I felt so bad for him when he realized that Peyton wasn't at her house either :( Can't wait to see where she went.
And what the hell happened to Theresa (I miss Bex Taylor-Klaus and she was great in this role)?! That certainly wasn't Cameron she was texting the whole time. I wonder if that was a zombie the whole time and she got turned into one as well?! Really hope we find out about what happened to her next week.
I never expected to love this show as much as I do. This first season has been absolutely incredible and the show has been firing on all cylinders. Can't wait to see how everything wraps up but I'm definitely dreading the hiatus.
I don't know why but i always feel like with Liv and Blaine, Blaine has some sort of not going after her. That he always goes after anyone else but never Liv. I think Bex's friend WAS the zombie, that Sebastian accidentally scratched him.
Loved this ep and the set up for what should be a fantastic finale. Enjoyed having Bex Taylor Klaus onscreen and hopes that despite the ending that she might somehow join the cast in a recurring role at least, but figure that is a long shot. The Full on "Z on Z" action was great and loved the sequence as Liv tried to fight without having to go Full On, but needed to go "Turbo Mode" as the hitman wouldn't go down easy. Great scene as Liv came out to Peyton and heartbreaking as she fled... Hoping that she will calm down from the huge shock to at least open her mind that this is indeed her best friend. Really curious to see how the developments with Major and Liv's brother will turn out.....
Oh I've always had faith in iZombie ever since that first trailer ;) I just knew that it would be perfect for me and Rose McIver absolutely shines (as well as all the other actors).
Okay this show keeps blowing my mind! Best tv show in 2015 so far.
The fight scene between the two zombies in the kitchen was intense! I can't believe Peyton found out. I thought it was just going to be like the time Evans came into the room when Liv was fighting that Asian gang member and she turned back to a normal person really quick but NO PEYTON FREAKIN WITNESS EVERYTHING!!
OKAY OKAY BUT Can we talk about Rose McIver having to act a totally different person every episode? I really enjoyed her acting like a peppy cheerleader this episode. That whole conversation between her and Kimbers best friend made my brain hurt but I was laughing at Clive's reaction the whole time lol. It was priceless!
Also RIP Hope the rat. Guess the cure isn't on its way too soon.
Very Nice, I liked this episode a lot. The Cheerleader personality was far superior. Everything is piling up and next week its gonna explode. I'm glad Peyton found out, but disapointed she ran, only hope she comes back and when she does she takes the same stand/attitude as Ravi does.
I wonder if Major guessed Liv is a Zombie from the way Blaine spoke of her. I would of. And with Liv's brother with Blaine he will have 2 up to make Liv do what he wants.
I already loved this show but the fact that they played James Blake made me love it even more. To those who don't know , the song they played at the end when Peyton found out is called Retrograde by James Blake. It's an amazing song and so is The Wilhem Scream, another song that has been played in some shows.
Like O.M.G but Clive's facial expression through that entire interrogation scene was HILARIOUS! I found myself watching him more then Liv a thaf point and was cracking up hard core! This show really does get more completely awesome every single episode! The characters have amazing chemistry, the writing is clever and funny, and Liv's actress is so talented!
So far, I have not really hated anything iZombie has thrown at us.... but seeing Clive potentially eating a bit of brain was umm, less than appealing. But that little flaw aside, still an awesome episode. So much stuff happened this ep. Peyton finding out, Blaine hiring Livs brother, capturing Major, a new zombie rat. This ep felt like they crammed 3 eps of material into 1. Also, always great seeing Bex Taylor-Klaus filling in as a guest star on the ep. Wish they were doing more than a 13 ep season to be honest. Hope The CW extends season 2 to a full 23.
Let's see, for the second time a zombie bashed the heck out of Olivia's friends and neither turned into a zombie. First Major takes a beating from the Candyman, and now Sebastian makes Peyton bleed. Where are all the infected zombie allies to talk with Liv and find a cure to the infection? So wanting to see Peyton blonde and Major get some payback.
She'd be taking someone's life from them, i mean yeah Sebastian was a psychopath but did you see him?! He HATED being a zombie, he hated killing someone who, as crazy as he was, he actually loved, which i actually thought he'd love but nope. So if she turned someone she'd essentially be the same as Blaine.
This is not an ethics lesson but examine it as if we were talking zombiism is a sexually transmitted disease, you contracted it some how, shared needle, shared toilet, sex, however, and now you can not get rid of it, do you live your life alone or do you continue to live life as usual? What do you think the next phase of Ravi's experiments will be? He infected Rats to try and cure them only to kill them. The moment he feels that he will not kill the subject he will want to test the treatment on a human subject, but that means infecting them to cure them or to sit back and wait for a friend to be infected to use them as the new rat. I say be smart about this and turn good people, moral people into zombies so that they do not become Zombie chow and so you are not the only one fighting an army of money hungry Meat Cute employees all wanting to tear you limb from limb.
Did you ever think Ravi could be behind all of this? He amazingly leaves the CDC to go work in the morgue and just happens to be a viologist who has a Zombie pandemic study. He rapidly connects Max Rager to Modified Utopium and is looking for a cure already. What says he was not creating Zombies all along and until Blaine became a victim it was fine, the infection was limited to a few people but then Blaine cut the Utopium most likely with his own blood and combined with the max rager the condition worsened and spread. Now the question is can Ravi get the Genie back in the bottle or not. Note: Blaine is not afraid of Ravi or vice versa. Liv wants Blaine dead but Ravi simply wants his samples. Blaine seems to be test patient X and Ravi knows this. What he fails to accept is that Blaine is and has always been a sociopath. Blaine wants the cure not to end the spread but to take out the opponent zombie that will not listen. tun then normal and kill them no problem.
That was an awesome episode. That opening scene was hilarious. I am really worried about Major, Payton, Ravi, now. I hope no one from good guys dies in the next episode. So, I am probably the only one who doesn't like Bex Taylor-Klause, right? Her character in Izombie was same as in the Arrow. Is she planning to play characters like Sin for the rest of her career?
clue: if you can make a call they did not eat your brain and you should be infected, the odd thing is Major as he should be infected already but shows no signs yet, Why?
Agreed! I'm hoping for 23 episodes because I can't take all these feels in one episode. Much intense. So wow. That ending was a perfect setup for the season finale tho. I can't wait!
Great episode and fantastic set-up for the finale. Peyton finding out before Major wasn't something I expected but its a cool little devastating twist. I wonder how she will react when she finds out Ravi kept it from her.
I tend to forget Liv has a brother and mother as they are hardly in it but during the episode I did wonder what happened with Evan applying to Meat Cute and now he could get sucked into the entire thing.
Major and Ravi's friendship continues to be one of my favourite things, even with the darkness we get some light with them. Also Liv as a cheerleader and a stoner was really fun.
I wonder if the girl from the band hasn't been turned into a zombie but another supernatural creature? Or its probably Max Rager related. But another thing I liked about this episode is that it didn't wrap up the case of the week, we got some answers but not everything.
Any Veronica Mars fans wonder if the storage unit where the Asshats played was the same unit where Leo and his band played in the E-String Strangler episode?
it's rather rare that i find a show in which i like every character :D this ep was fantastic! it incorporated almost everyone and so many things happened, and it kept the balance bt each bit so well :D and the best part is i can't even predict what will happen next!
The candyman beat the heck out of him in the skate park and if a scratch was enough to turn Liv, Major should be full on Zombie having to be stitched up like he was
mmm i think it might be that it has to be with blood mixing maybe? like maybe Liv got a scratch but maybe the zombie who scratched her had his own blood on his fingernails vs Major was hurt, but his wouldn't didn't get infected?
Live only got a scratch on the arm Major was beaten up and down and bleed all over so he was open to bloodborne pathogens, they simply did nothing with it. Peyton is most likely infected now and I would hope Ravi. If not this is going to be a rather slanted show from this point on
This episode was absolutely fantastic, I'm glad I stayed with the show this long, it was very, very boring in the beginning, but it has getting better and better with each passing episode, shame it took this long to get this good. The finale is going to be insane! Can't wait!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
HOLY CRAP!! Frigging intense episode! I loved this! One of my favorite episodes. Major! Ravi! Payton! Poor Liv! Full on Zombie on Zombie violence! Crazy!

Sometimes i forget when Liv goes in Full-On-Zombie-Mode she can be just as dangerous as the rest of the evil zombies.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but i always feel like with Liv and Blaine, Blaine has some sort of not going after her. That he always goes after anyone else but never Liv. I think Bex's friend WAS the zombie, that Sebastian accidentally scratched him.

ReplyDeleteTo think, no one was sure about this show before it premiered and now it's one of best new shows of the season LOL

ReplyDeleteMaybe she can come back when she's done with Scream. It wasn't totally conclusive her character died at the end here.

Sorry to disappoint U. Bex Taylor is playing the lead role in Mtv's Scream.

ReplyDeleteShe'd make a great zombie.
ReplyDeleteNah
ReplyDeleteThere are no other GOOD zombies allies, Lowell was only the only other good zombie.
ReplyDeleteMake your own, it is easy if she tries
ReplyDeleteShe'd be taking someone's life from them, i mean yeah Sebastian was a psychopath but did you see him?! ReplyDeleteOMG, all hell broke lose!!!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who had flashes of S&L and "I know what U did last summer" before the opening credits?
ReplyDeleteGreat episode loved everything that happened. Can't believe the season is already ending next week.

ReplyDeleteThe reason not to kill Liv is she will kill herself in time and provide you with a great weapon in the process.
ReplyDeleteIt will be losing some audience to Stitchers though as they are similar though no zombie mechanism
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I'm hoping for 23 episodes because I can't take all these feels in one episode. Much intense. So wow. That ending was a perfect setup for the season finale tho. I can't wait!
