Wow, what an episode!
ReplyDeleteAwww, the final scene
ReplyDeleteThe burning of Shireen for me.
ReplyDeleteFrom the loving conversation in the tent to Selyse throwing herself on the ground trying to save her daughter in the last moment. I think it was well done and well acted by all parties involved Special kudos to Kerry Ingram who plays Shireen as those screams were hearttwrenching!
Hands down the moment when Drogon comes down into Daznak's pit to save his mother from the Sons of the Harpy and the two fly off into the sunset!! I was flailing my arms and screaming so loudly. Can't wait to find out where those two will be headed.
ReplyDeleteWow indeed what a finish this week the fight scene in the fighting pit with Tyrion, Danny, Jorah and Drogon coming to the rescue. But my blood went cold with what Stannis did to Shireen poor child it would be right if Shireen what to haunt Stannis and mommy dearest.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the final sequence. Not as mindblowing as last week's Hardhome battle, but still a brilliant, exciting, and poignant moment for Daenerys.

Davos gives Shireen a present. What a sweet scene. The burning was probably the most powerful and well-done scene in the episode, but I don't ever want to see it again.
ReplyDeleteThe Sons of Harpy vs Dany and the gang vs Drogon the Dragon and Great Destroyer. I've been waiting for this moment for almost 4 years ever since I finished the book and it was great.
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched the episode yet...so atm i do not have a favorite scene...i just needed to know what happend. :D ....but WHAT they killed/burned Shireen? That sweet, innocent child.....Stannis you're no king of mine!!! ...and for Melisandre i already hate her with a passion and i'm kinda hoping that there's a slow and very painful death in store for her!
ReplyDeleteThat final scene! I waited five years for that moment. Soooo brilliant and worth the wait.
ReplyDeleteCertainly the final scene, but more specifically Drogon's first blast of
ReplyDeletefire breath and the way it was shot with Drogon storming in and
consuming the entire left side of the frame, followed by Tyrion's
expression horror and awe as he watches the harpies burn. Brilliant
stuff!
Drogon flying in to save mom from the Sons of the Harpies and her flying off with him. Second favorite is Tyrion saving Missandei.
ReplyDeleteThe last scene of course. Runner ups are Tyrion saving Missandei (will it lead to something? xD) and the dicussion of Dany, Tyrion, Daaro and Hizdahr. Maybe Davos and Shireen, but it is even sadder now.
ReplyDeleteKnew this scene would happen eventually - Milsandre has been nagging Stan is about it for a while now, I just had high hopes that Davos would manage to talk him out of it or save Shireen. That being said, I was actually surprised by Selyse' (mother) change of heart.
ReplyDeleteHave always like Davos and Shireen's relationship, sad that it's now over .......... Davos will be devastated.
That scene hit me hard. Right in the gut.
