I already know the proposal is going to win so I'm just wondering what the other top 2 choice will be.
ReplyDeleteI'm A bit surprised how high the votes are for the vincat scenes, I knew it would be the majority but not this high. It goes to show you this show will always about about epic love first. I too voted for the proposal, and I too think the best thing about this show is the vincat chemistry. Still, this episode proved there is more than just romance-there is room for some good action, sci-fi and even friendship.
ReplyDeleteOf course without a doubt, the proposal it was so sweet so Vincat the fancy resturant just wouldn't have been them only own the rooftop for them, I loved the opening scene as well, who am I kidding I loved the entire episode, BATB is back and I'm loving it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDifficult choice. I loved the scene of beginning (VinCent's chemistry), but the entire episode was amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWell said and I agree. I want our show to become a little more well rounded.
ReplyDeleteMy votes:
ReplyDelete1. Vincent proposing to Cat on the roof.
2. JT giving Vincent a pep talk.
3. Vincent getting oriented to his new role as doctor.
The proposal scene to me was flawless and so beautifully acted. It was just perfect. My fav scene of all so far. You could really feel how deep and real their love is
ReplyDeleteAlthough I really loved the proposal, it felt just a little bit too played down. I would have preferred to have him plan it on the roof & go all out with flowers, candles, music & done slow dancing. Cliche I know, but it would have felt a little more special - after everything they've been through to finally get to this point - I thought they deserved that wow factor! But it was still very sweet & touching & true to our VinCat!
ReplyDeleteI loved the opening rooftop scene & the delicious morning kiss equally & a little more than the proposal. They were sexy, delicious & sweet all rolled into one, but just a little bit too quick. I wanted to relish the moments much more! I'm still really hoping for a little(lot) more sexy moments along the lines of eps115 & 116, at least once or twice this season, fingers crossed!😉😊 Absolutely loved 301 though, it was a fantastic opening episode!😀 Packed with love, friendship, drama, awesome action & a smudge of lust, it has me very excited to see what they have in store for us in the coming episodes!😊
Totally agree, I was thinking the same thing. I loved the proposal, still I was expecting more, similar to their anniversary in s1 - we all know he's capable of it. He never even told her he loved her. Just not 100% sure big lights and a tux woukd have made the moment anymore special, I was just happy he proposed. the show has a way of giving us the best vincat moments when we least expect it, my guess is they are waiting for something epic later on in the season.

ReplyDeleteHeck, they were all great, very few things I didn't like about this episode
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hate that he never said he loved her in that moment- or at all in that ep - but I think they were really trying hard to reinforce the fact that Vincent needs Cat to keep him from losing his humanity, but I hate that they made his proposal more about that, than actually being "so in love with"her! That love should have been the focus for the proposal & the humanity thing just an important aspect of their destiny, not his driving force behind the proposal, which we only really know he truly wanted for love, because he already had it planned before everything went crazy!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I will see how the season plays out before I get too nervous, but for now I think that was fault in the scene. The idea behind Vincat, the reason why they work is because "he is so in love", the are so in love with eachother. one of the million reasons why he loves her is because he wants to be more controlled/more humain when he's with her. Although the final scene hinted at that, it didn't go out and say it-it made it sound like the only reason why he proposed is out of fear of losing himself if he's alone, which is clearly not the case for the reasons you said and many more. I understand why the writers chose to focus on losing/gaining humanity because that in all likelihood will be the focus of s3: can Vincent keep it together while saving the day. But at that moment, they deserved more. The acting during the actual proposal was done felt so well
