People Are Talking - Vanessa Lachey Replaces Meaghan Rath

Jun 8, 2015

This recast should get people talking. Or not.

Vanessa Lachey (Dads) has replaced Meaghan Rath (Being Human) as Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s wife in NBC’s new fall comedy People Are Talking, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Rath had a good reason for bowing out: Her other pilot, Fox’s The Guide to Surviving Life, was also ordered to series (and was in first position to Talking).

  3. When you leave a show for Weird Loners 2.0 Guide to Surviving Life, you know the former must be terrible. I honestly want to see how low it goes before NBC finally pulls the plug.

  4. So true, this show has already been hailed as the worst. It's amazing that NBC even greenlit this.

  6. Meaghan was amazing in Being Human. I'm glad to see her have such an awesome problem as being cast in 2 picked up pilots. Personally I'm glad she ditched this show because it has gotten some negative feedback. I hope she made the right choice and Guide To Surviving Life will make it through the season and get a pickup for next year.

  7. With reference to my previous comment about the recasting, this isn't who I was hoping would get it out of those in the running, so I don't see the show being elevated! :-(

  9. She's not a bad actress but I doubt the show will be any better with her on board...
