Honestly shouldn't be surprised that Rachel played everyone and managed to get out like that but damn it was still shocking! Just as I was starting to feel sympathy for her she went and does this. And poor Krystal :( She didn't deserve anything that happened to her tonight and be pulled into this Castor/Leda war. I wonder if Felix actually told her everything about who she is when he got the chance, then she probably wouldn't be held hostage and in an induced coma about to have her eye taken out by Dr. Nealon. But it was understandable why Sarah said not to. Anyways, our sestras definitely need to take the upperhand ASAP. Also who was that woman at the end on the phone?! I don't think it was Marion since I don't recall her having a British accent. I can't wait to find out.
ReplyDeleteWelp, looks like the writers are setting up for Shay to be the Castor spy (unless they throw a huge curveball at us). Should be interesting to see what her true intentions are next week considering that quick shot of her in military uniform in the promo. And more of Helena hanging out with the Hendrixes please! "You are strong like baby ox. This I like" and Donnie using a Ukrainian accent and Helena's adorable laugh. Oh my god it was glorious. Also Helena playing dress up with Alison's daughter and her coming out in her clothes had me in stitches XD
Jason vs. Donnie! That was really great and hilarious. "I may be a bitch, but I'm Alison's bitch" Oh Donnie. Never change you perfect human being. Now the race for the Castor original genome is on! Can't wait to see them in their hometown of London next week. Clone Club definitely needs a big win.
Great episode. Loved that final scene between Felix and Krystal. I was worried about introducing another clone, but they pulled it off well. Maslany and Gavaris were phenomenal there.

I feel like the woman at the end is going to have some kind of tie with S. I'm waiting for the spy to be someone like Scott! That'd be a huge curveball!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the impression that they were about to scoop out Crystal's eye, only that Rachel was getting a fake eye. That might be how someone discovers that the coma person isn't Rachel in the future, the fact that under the eye patch she still has a left eye.
ReplyDeleteOh nooo not Scott! He's been such a fun character this season :( Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually went down that route with him considering everyone is always not who they seem to be on this show.
ReplyDeleteOops, I got confused with Krystal and Rachel for a second there XD They REALLY looked identical in that final scene so I got it mixed up. I have edited my comment. As for Krystal, do you think she'll still be held hostage by Nealon next week? By the looks of it, she will because Rachel certainly would not like to be again :(

- Rachel is free again............Delphine was right to want to have killed that "bitch" when she had the chance! Clone Club and Delphine is in even bigger trouble now.
- Helena is a riot of "baby oxes" (lol)! No maniac should be that funny or charming. Will Helena become Donnie's "guardian angel"?
- "straight" Felix was some excellent acting by Gavaris. Maslany and Gavaris have great scenes together..............more please.

Oh no Krystal! I felt so bad for her at the end, thanks to the amazing work of Maslany I warmed to Krystal straight away and now she is left in a dire state!
ReplyDeleteFelix using Jordan Gavaris real life accent and flirting with Krystal was hilarious and lovely but also it shows just how important Felix is to the Leda sisters, he immediately connects with them.
Rachel being one step ahead well that is just great, I love her and its good to see her back in the game (I mean I doubt she is just going to live her quiet life).
I never really like the Cosima / Delphine relationship at all and this week didn't help matters. Sorry I just can't see how they are meant to be this epic love that saved Cosima from dying or some rubbish. Their relationship is toxic and off-putting!
So Helena's babies in a can are back in play and with Donnie and Jason's fight having caused a bit of a mess I wonder if Alison will discover them next week. I guess that if Kira can help Cosima then the embryos should be able to as well.

Holy crap! That was all kinds of awesome. So much tension, who to trust, who not to trust...and in the end Rachel played them all! The Delphine/Cosima scenes were brilliant. I had a tear in my eye when Delphine said 'why didn't you tell me?'

ReplyDeleteFeel so bad for Krystal. She seemed like a genuinely nice person who just happened to be in a situation that she wasn't even aware of. I really hope they don't do any permanant damage to her physically or mentally.

ReplyDeleteAm seriously that only one that noticed Scott is an Isaac Asimov purist? Not the expanded series, not the Robot tie-ins, not the co-written franchise - he only has the original Foundation trilogy. Given the way this show makes SF-references... I need to read those books again.
ReplyDeleteI am willing to bet that episode 3.10 or 4.01 has a scene with Krystal waking up to find Cosima and/or Felix at her bedside. Rachel looks to be in Castor's hands now, that might not work out how she intended... although, Scott should have known game-mastery is genetic ,)

ReplyDeleteMy cat usually watches OB with me, this episode she wanted nothing to do with it... it's like she knew something cat-unfriendly would happen! And Scott's cat has the same name as a close relative of mine!! This show is messing with my head!!! :p

ReplyDeleteSo with you on Cosima/Delphine, it's always made me feel uncomfortable and this episode just reinforced that. It's far too manipulative and there's not enough trust involved for me. Though I have to admit I'm not exactly on board with Shay either. I'm interested in her as a character, but again, it's not looking like a healthy relationship from an outsiders prospective. There was a definitely tell when she saw 'Rachel's book', and the events that followed that sighting are far too suspicious to ignore imo.
ReplyDeleteI'm also concerned for Helena's babies. The scene between her and Gracie was very sweet, but at the same time I don't fully trust the ex-Prolethean as yet. If Mark turns up begging for help on behalf of Castor, I could see her double crossing the Clone Club in order to help Coady replenish her army/research lab :(
Yeah I don't trust Shay at all. I find Cosima/Delphine so creepy, they haven't really moved on from the betrayal by Delphine in S1. Like with Alison and Donnie I only warmed to them as a couple after they get through their troubles towards to end of S2 and once the entire truth was out. Delphine always has the position of power over Cosima and that makes their relationship really uneasy and not something I can get on board with.

ReplyDeleteIt was a good episode, but I'm so done with Delphine. She has a lot of self righteous gall to think that the clones should trust her at this point. Her lying and manipulation and stalking is grounds enough not to, but given how she falls for Rachel's tricks every damn time makes me question why she's the head of anything, let alone a powerful company. I'm 'meh' about Shay as well, but Cophine is so damn toxic, like....if a guy did anything close to the shit Delphine's pulled, this fandom would rip him apart. Paul came close and people were uncomfortable, no one liked Donnie when he was doing it. Why does Delphine get cheered on because she's a 'hot' woman?

ReplyDeleteHmm, I want to trust Gracie, I really do. She and Helena shared one hell of a headf*** from her father, and managed to pull together to get away from all that after the very hostile start to their relationship. I just think that Mark could possibly be her one weak point if he came back for her, and if it came down to trying to find a cure for him over Helena's stash of embryos, then as you say, the show could go there. Especially if this trip to London is successful in taking out the original Castor clone.
Can't stand Delphine myself, I'm really hoping that they aren't planning to get her and Cosima back together as it's a terrible relationship! :(
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who was missing a scene in their viewing? There definitely was something wrong, it got cut off between the scene with Cophine&Scott and the one with the gang at home. Plus, I saw a gif of a missing scene with Krystal on tumblr, I guess.

ReplyDeleteThere was too much Cosima/Delphine angst and that's one of my least favourite things about the show. I've never been a big Delphine fan, and her indignant attitude for not being trusted when she really hasn't earned the trust just bothers me.
The stuff at Team!Hendrix camp was interesting. I was expecting there would be more story with putting Helena and Gracie in the shop, but nothing too exciting.
Really not liking Jason staking a claim like that. Donnie remains superior.
I knew not feeling sorry for Rachel would pay off. Poor Krystal. She was great and didn't deserve that.
I think Sarah was wrong to want to keep her in the dark. It's not a situation where ignorance can do you much good.

ReplyDeleteI think that Gracie told her ex about the book (isle of Dr. moreau) as she heard Sarah, Mrs S and Felix talking about it while she was climbing the stairs. Delphine is terribly jealous and hurts Cosima again, she is kind of insane for me now. I hope this season doesn't end with Cosima's death as we spent a lot of time with her this season, she is now a major character in the clone team.
