UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — June 23, 2015 — NBC is coming to Comic-Con in full force with a slate of hugely popular shows, including the hottest two new series of fall — “Heroes Reborn” and “Blindspot” — and activities that will include panels and a take-over of Gaslamp Square featuring activations, giveaways and a chance for lucky fans to win $1,000 in a daily scavenger hunt.
In addition to “Heroes Reborn” and “Blindspot,” arriving in San Diego are “The Player,” “Grimm” and “Hannibal.” Also, NBC will once again be throwing its invite-only party for digital influencers at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 11 on the rooftop of the Andaz Hotel. Talent from all NBC series will attend.
In addition, NBC is once again partnering with Comic-Con to bring fans the official Comic-Con App.
“HEROES REBORN” (Sunday, July 12, 1:45-2:45, Hall H; sponsored by Universal Television)
From Tim Kring, who imagined NBC’s original critically acclaimed “Heroes” series, comes “Heroes Reborn,” an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.
“Heroes Reborn” takes over Gaslamp Square with a first of its kind 4-D interactive experience where fans will have the opportunity to access their own extraordinary pyro-kinetic ability. Through a multi-sensory experience of interactive visuals and kinetic effects, fans will enter the world of “Heroes Reborn” and use their power with fire to escape a dangerous scenario.
Fans will also be able to take an animated “heroic” photo and tour through a “Heroes” gallery featuring iconic props from the previous series.
The “Heroes Reborn” Q&A panel, which will include an exclusive look at the extended trailer, will be moderated by returning cast member Greg Grunberg. Panelists include Tim Kring, Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt.
“Heroes Reborn” premieres Thursday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
“BLINDSPOT” (Preview Night Screening, Wednesday, July 8, 6-10 p.m. Ballroom 20; Pilot Screening and Panel, Saturday, July 11, 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Room 6A; sponsored by Warner Bros. Television)
From executive producer Greg Berlanti and writer/executive producer Martin Gero comes “Blindspot”: A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There’s one that’s very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. “Jane,” Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed.
Fans can discover “Blindspot” at Tin Fish restaurant in Gaslamp Square. They will be able to receive both temporary tattoo sleeves and partake in a photo op where their head will be placed on a tattooed body, similar to the character of Jane Doe in the new NBC drama.
Also, throughout the Gaslamp District, fans can go on a scavenger hunt to search for and find the Jane Doe look-alikes. Once found fans can text “Blindspot” to a number tattooed on her body and receive the next step to enter for a chance to win $1,000.
Fans at Comic-Con can get their first look at “Blindspot” during the show’s world premiere as part of Warner Bros. Television’s annual Preview Night screenings on Wednesday, July 8.

Lol NBC bringing a canceled show to SDCC because they ran out of young-skewing shows.
ReplyDeleteNow they are pretending just like CBS considering BATB and POI (albeit it's WB who carries it) young-skewing shows.
Hopefully the Hannibal promo can trash everything NBC.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Why is Greg doing the Q&A?? That's bull.
ReplyDeleteOuch at the "?" next to Hannibal
ReplyDeleteShould've been Jack or Zach.
ReplyDeleteThat Heroes 4-D thing sounds so AWESOME!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're desperate to create a connection to the past show
ReplyDeleteummm, Jack is the past show.
ReplyDeleteYeah but his character wasn't super powered. And since Greg is only appearing on a guest basis he won't have much to tell
ReplyDelete"Super powered" Idt that has ANYTHING to do with it. Noah aka HRG was a MUCH more powerful character than Matt. I think the majority of the fanbase would love to have HRG be the Q&A host rather than Matt freaking Parkman. If anything i'll say the actors pulled straws and Matt got the short end of it. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what to think about the Blindspot scavenger hunt thing. I can see what they're trying to do, and it's an interesting, creative idea, but at the same time, it's just asking for trouble...
ReplyDeleteZachary Levi hosting a Comic-Con panel would be a dream come true! Greg sucks.
ReplyDeleteGot that right
ReplyDeleteHe's actually pretty good at that stuff...
ReplyDeleteYeah, but they are full cast members as such they are more useful to be a panelists than the host.
ReplyDeleteI disagree but w/e. The damage is done.
ReplyDeleteIdc. lol That's not the point.
ReplyDeleteThat actually is the point...
ReplyDeleteYou want someone to host a panel, that can be enthousiastic about the subject matter, someone who can keep the conversation going and audience interested.
Plus in this case it offers a nice PR connection to the previous show.
Greg actually ticks off all boxes, so he's a pretty good choice.
You'd rather they sit apart from the panel and not share their views on the show, but ask the questions instead?
ReplyDeleteBecause that's what a host does...
They are full cast members! Sitting in as panelists is how you'll get their POV on the show.
No. I'd rather one character (who was more popular when the show ran) do the hosting than the other one picked. That's what i meant.
ReplyDeleteAnd I feel that Jack could've done that too. = / Sooo....i don't care how good Greg is. I'm not saying he isn't good, I'd rather see someone else do it. I don't get your confusion on that fact.
ReplyDeleteI'm baffled that you'd rather have someone who is starring on the show big time and was playing a fairly popular character moderate the panel instead than be part of it. That is counter productive...
ReplyDeleteNo. I'd rather one character (who was more popular when the show ran) do
ReplyDeletethe hosting than the other one picked. That's what i meant.
Well you can day dream all you want about that, but fact is the "popular characters" from the original run don't really care about the show anymore.
Greg is only realistic option, because he is loyal to his shows that way...
Jack isn't a realistic option because, seeing as he is a part of the new show, sticking him in the moderator's role is counter productive. And since you know what a host/moderator does why would you be wanting him do that?
Jack being a panelist is where he can actually be able to answer fan questions and share anecdotes from filming.
I don't have to day dream about anything. I think it would've been better, it didn't happen i moved on. I don't dwell. And my comment was two days ago, so get over it. Like i did.
ReplyDeleteWell i'm a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteAnd my comment was two days ago, so get over it.
ReplyDeleteI actually just read the thread yesterday so don't really flatter yourself, there was no dwelling.
Uh huh.
