  1. If I had the space and money I would buy all the Marvel 'Art of' books.

As for the Agent Carter comic that is a bit sneaky of them its not technically a proper tie-in, the Peggy of the comics is different from the Peggy of the MCU, she is blonde for one! But what I've seen of it, it is a fun mini-series.

  2. AOS and Agent Carter are good, but I just loved Daredevil! Awesome! Looking forward to Jessica Jones now.

  3. She's also American right?

  4. Yep, which just seems wrong. I'm so used to the MCU Peggy being British.

  5. I wonder if that's something that will change with the new universe. It seems the perfect opportunity to rewrite history and it's obvious that they're trying to make the comics universe easier for people from the MCU to jump into. I'm half convinced that tomorrow in the new SHIELD (or in her one-shot coming in September) it's going to come out that Quake is actually inhuman and maybe even of Chinese ancestry.

  6. I've pre-ordered the AOS book for this season. Did anybody get the one for last season? Did you enjoy it? I'm thinking about taking that one up too late or on, preferably if I can get it at a discounted price but I doubt that will happen.

  7. I wouldn't be too surprised. There is a lot of interest in Peggy because of the MCU so bringing her in line with that in the comics seems likely.

Yeah I wonder how far they will link Skye with Daisy in the comics. They have already changed Wanda and Pietro's background so they are no longer Mutants. So changes like this are becoming more and more likely especially with the big Secret Wars changes.

  8. This is the synopsis for the upcoming Quake one-shot:
    QUAKE: S.H.I.E.L.D. 50TH ANNIVERSARY #1
MATTHEW ROSENBERG & PATRICK KINDLON (W)
    DANIEL WARREN JOHNSON (A)
    Cover by DAVID NAKAYAMA
    Variant Cover by CHRISTIAN WARD
ACTION FIGURE VARIANT BY JOHN TYLER CHRISTOPHER
    • Family reunion!
    • Learn why Quake makes the perfect agent for S.H.I.E.L.D....
    • When a group of Inhumans get involved, Quake finds out exactly how far she'll go to finish a mission.

The words that send up red flags are family reunion and inhumans. Actually the fact that she's just refer to as an agent also makes me wonder.

  11. The first clues will probably be in tomorrow's issue of SHIELD and I can't wait to read. Since I'm not working tomorrow, reading that comic is going to be the first thing I do.
