Yay! I hope we get some exciting news from the panel!
ReplyDeleteNo thanks.
ReplyDeleteGive me Daredevil and Jessica Jones or give me death!
More curious about the Marvel Animation panel tbh
ReplyDeleteShow us Kamala Khan's animated look and reveal her voice actress!
I'm all for the Ultron Evolution panel. Damn I wish there were a Deadpool panel.
ReplyDeleteJames D'Arcy being there for Carter kind of confirms that he will be a regular on Season 2 again. But it's probably a bad sign for the rest of the cast that they aren't there I would say, considered Shield is bringing the entire cast.
ReplyDeleteWell, Deadpool is produced by FOX so I guess they might be a X-Men Apocalypse/Deadpool/Gambit/Wolverine 2 panel.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since Hugh is rumored to show up in Deadpool they couldn't miss that chance
Makes sense, since Jarvis is now kind of Peggys buttler I guess Howard sends him after her to look after Peggy.
ReplyDeleteI would love it if they pushed the storyline ahead a few years to the late 60s and having Peggy solve the case of Howards murder while taking care of a baby Tony
I'm more excited for DCs animation panel. They've done some pretty awesome stuff this year. With Gods & Monsters Chronicles on machinima (a 10 episode long second season in 2016) and Vixen on Seed they're pretty inovative about their medium recently.
ReplyDeleteKinda hoping that Disney does something similar, they have a share in maker studios, wich is also youtube based, so that'd be cool
Oh that sounds amazing! I will however be greedy here and say that I would prefer that to be Season 3 since I still would like to see what Peggy post Steve-grief looks like.
ReplyDeleteGod I hope so!
ReplyDeleteDaredevil is not going?. Excited for thsi new season of AoS.
ReplyDeleteI believe Disney's animation side is mostly saved for D23, it's just Marvel Animation and LucasFilm Animation that attend SDCC.
ReplyDeleteI'm still hoping we get more DC animated shows on CW Seed. Continue Constantine as an animated show >.>
I was actually, in the back of my head, expecting Machinima to pick up an animated version of Constantine. Especially since the timeframe around their upfronts were perfect and they're absolutely using the DC connection (even more than the CW).
ReplyDeleteI mean, for a youtube network they have a sh*tload of DC properties running around.#4Hero, Superhero Project, JL: Gods&Monsters Chronicles and I'm pretty sure that through some reason RoboCops will also be produced by Warner
WHERE'S LYNDSY FONSECA?!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about Lyndsy Fonseca?
ReplyDeleteNo Daredevil? Boo!
ReplyDeleteHoward doesn't die until 1991 in the MCU so that can't happen.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Agent Carter & AoS will be attending.Bummed Daredevil isn't included. What happened,i wonder?
ReplyDeleteAs everyone I'm glad Carter will be included, but so pissed DiDi wasn't given a panel.
ReplyDeleteSeems like Carter will get a recast for most of the cast. Should be fun.
I bet there will be a Deadpool appearance with Ryan in character.
ReplyDeleteI wish they wouldn't combine the AC and AOS panels unless they are actually on all stage together that would be ok, its when they have 1 cast on for like 30 mins then the next on I don't like.
ReplyDeleteI was kind of hoping for a Jessica Jones and Daredevil panel :(
ReplyDeleteAh well.
I never know how I feel about combined panels like this. They either do it where they have 30 minutes for each panel individuality, which is really not that long tbh, and ends up kinda rushed. Or, they have them all in one big panel line up, but even that can be eh, because when fan questions come in, they could be asked to one show only continually, leaving out the other actors. That being said, I'm still majorly looking forward to the panel, because the marvel cast is one of the friendliest, funniest and most 'family-like' casts, and I love seeing them together.
ReplyDeleteI'd have loved to have seen Lyndsy Fonseca go too! Love Angie/Lyndsy! But she's pretty much been guaranteed for season two, so I'm not worried about that aspect. It's also a shame the Daredevil cast, or even the Jessica Jones, cast aren't going. I'd have loved to have seen Ming-Na Wen, Hayley Atwell and Rosario Dawson all in one panel! :)
From what I know, the people who are returning are Hayley Atwell (obviously), Lyndsy Fonseca, James D'Arcy and possibly Enver Gjokaj. (Which I'm delighted about, seeming they were all my favourites in the show). But not having them at the panel is kinda strange?
ReplyDeleteI think one advantage to this is that they're in the same universe and they're telling the story of that universe just at different points in time. Also Hayley Atwell did actually guest star on AOS, so there is that. I hope they do a combined panel, because that would allow for some very interesting questions.
ReplyDeleteno Daredevil ?????? :(
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I would loveeeeee that!!!
ReplyDeleteNothing has been announced as far as I know. I would also very much like Chad Michael Murray and Enver Gjokaj back
ReplyDeleteHas any announcement been made about Lindsy Fonseca and Enver Gjokaj? I missed that. What about Chad Michael Murray? People disliked his character but I really enjoyed him from the Russia episode onwards.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, there's been nothing official on any of them, but some are assuming that Enver is returning because he was asked about it on Twitter and tweeted Hayley with "I wouldn't deny you the pleasure of the sweater vests" in response. (Which, heh.)
ReplyDeletei could deal with losing any of them except James (he and Hayley's on-screen team makes the show), but I hope they stay. Other than CMM, no offense to the guy but if I never see his Agent Carter character again, it will be too soon.
Late 60's would mean a 20+ year jump, so they'd have to either recast (obviously not happening, at least not with Hayley) or use age makeup which is going to look fake and get awfully distracting when you do it for an entire season. It's entirely possible they'll do a time jump of a few years, but not that many.
ReplyDeleteThe pessimist in me thinks the combined panel is because they won't have much to talk about as far as the new seasons are concerned during Comic Con, chances are at that date, July 10th, the actors will at best have received the first script, it's just too early in July for them to have shot a substantial amount of scenes to have juicy stuff to tease. :(
ReplyDeleteAhah I know you hated the Jack character but I enjoyed him. Not only because I feel that his perspective was necessary to conveniently convey the message of women discrimination and all that that they were trying to pass but also because I ended up empathizing with him after the Russia episode, much like Peggy herself did. So I would like to have him back too. But agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, I agree with your main point which is that no one is absolutely essential per se. That Enver comment though (thanks for the information by the way) seems to confirm he will return, in which case I would expect CMM to return as well.
I think I already said this, but I am glad they're doing a joint panel...
ReplyDeleteI would have liked if they had a panel for the Netflix shows too, but I'm glad this is also happening.
