Thanks to mac for the heads up.
Robbie Amell's absence from The CW's Legends Of Tomorrow promo hasn't gone unnoticed by fans, and many have even begun to worry about the future of 'Ronnie Raymond' in the DCTV universe. While Victor Garber's 'Martin Stein' has been confirmed as a series regular for the upcoming spin-off, the other half of 'Firestorm''s role appears far less certain. Amell played coy when asked about this by MovieWeb, choosing to instead direct focus to his role on The Flash:
"All of those [Legends Of Tomorrow] questions will be answered shortly, but I can't actually tell you anything about it. What I can tell you is I'm going back to shoot more episodes of The Flash in July."
"I haven't gotten any scripts yet, but it picks up immediately where the finale left off, because it was such a big cliffhanger... The nice thing about the finale was getting to actually play Ronnie. You saw Ronnie in my first episode, and then I was this schizophrenic, frightened man, and then I was trying to figure things out with my other half, and I finally got to kind of play Ronnie in the finale. I was enjoying that character. I'd like to play more with that, and the relationship with Danielle Panabaker's character Caitlin, but I always have so much fun shooting with Victor, so anything else Victor and I can shoot together would be great."

hmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI wish he was a main.
ReplyDeleteRobbie?
ReplyDeleteYes. I wish he was a LoT main.
ReplyDeleteIs Rusch a Driver?
ReplyDeleteCaity Lotz IS the female lead right? I hope so! Robbie Amell get you butt to Legends of Tomorrow! YOU'RE Firestorm no one else, not this guy Jason Rusch, YOU!
ReplyDeleteWell he'd be in control of Firestorm if he was fused with Stein.
ReplyDeleteI think it's an ensemble piece. Meaning they'll are more or less equal. Like Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteSo and i hate saying this but like Heroes?
ReplyDeleteThat's on paper. It's CW.t'll never happen. Some will get ignored, some will get more prominence.
ReplyDeleteYeah so no, i don't want anyone BUT Ronnie to be the main Driver of Firestorm. I don't care what the comics say Robbie Amell is the other half of the superhero.
ReplyDeleteRight. So that's pessimistic for no reason. Considering the lack of ensemble shows on the CW. Even then it's a hero team-up show. It's possible, but again no real evidence.
ReplyDeleteThey're not Heroes they respect each and every character, at least the DC TV Universe other shows you're maybe right.
ReplyDeleteI love this guy(Robbie).I hope he stays in The Flash and becomes series regular eventually.
ReplyDeleteThat's because those aren't ensemble casts. They have a clear main protagonist and focal point. Jim Gordon, or Oliver Queen or Barry Allen.
ReplyDeleteI know.I'm just keeping no expectations regarding this aspect.I know they'll shove that annoying character Ray in my face to much!!
ReplyDeleteJason and Ronnie have both been halves before.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Hunter? he seems pretty much the protagonist
ReplyDeleteI also thought so.
ReplyDeleteAs long Ronnie Raymond is the one using the powers and saving people i;m fine, no one else but him.
ReplyDeleteHe's the leader, but not the main character. Merely the one who has the plot device. But it doesn't revolve around him like Flash, Arrow or Gotham. It revolves around the Legends. Meaning all of them.
ReplyDeleteOh ok i guess that works
ReplyDeleteWrong show if you hate Ray. I like the guy, he's a good man. And he's funny. But also stubborn. A trait all heroes must have.
ReplyDeleteWhy see a show when you're basically foaming at the mouth of a character,
ReplyDeleteOther characters probably.
ReplyDeleteYeah maybe
ReplyDeleteNever seen the show but yeah.
ReplyDeleteDo you think it will work that way?
ReplyDeleteWell they better be better than them
ReplyDeleteYeah I imagine from it being a team-up show, these characters all being huge comic wise (except Sara), and that they're all supposed to save the world and no emphasis so far that we've seen is placed on one or other. There could be some imbalance but I imagine it will be for the most part.
ReplyDeleteCoz i want to see all the other character's journey.Besides,i love Caity.
ReplyDeleteYou yourself said it's an ensemble show. So,as long as every character gets equal prominence,i'm good.
ReplyDeleteMe too
ReplyDeleteThey ARE called Drivers right? The ones who controls Firestorm, i'm not crazy?
ReplyDeleteOh my God i completely forgot about Wentworth LOL, nice "cool"
ReplyDeleteYeah they are.
ReplyDeleteOkay cool
ReplyDeleteNo I prefer him on the Flash though I'm gonna miss Garber. I do like their banter on the show.
ReplyDeleteAnd that seems to be the intention. So you should be good. For every Ray moment, they'll be a Cold, Sara, Stein, etc. one.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
ReplyDeletePlz be a regular on The Flash. Plz be a regular on The Flash. Plz be a regular on The Flash.
ReplyDeleteI still think he will be a regular on The Flash. Cool interview with the ladies also, I love Caity Lotz.
