ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that in Teen Wolf the big return will be a technical thing, and about Theo, Scott's lost long friend. I feel Aiden's return is just during what will be a Lydia banshee vision and that'll be it all.

ReplyDeleteThis sucks so much though, I loved the twins in Teen Wolf and was sad to see them go, they leave to go to The Leftovers, I start watching it and like them in it, I drop Teen Wolf, and then they leave The Leftovers!

Hannibal: Glad to know that character makes it after the other is ------, but am very curious how and if FD will configure into this character's story. Will FD go after said character too or is this character's former patient also connected to FD? (Because I believe we should see more of him in episode 10) Looking forward to seeing what how they use this character in RD-era!!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad its being put to rest. (I put it to rest in BMW also). Idk why such the large hope about it. Isn't it enough Cory and Topanga ended up together? Can they not allow someone from BMW to be "destined" in GMW?? Smh. Besides, didn't they already say Angela was married in a previous episode awhile back??
ReplyDeleteI think GMW has been very clear that the Cory/Topanga situation is very rare. I don't understand why so much of the audience is so held up on Shawn/Angela...
ReplyDeleteI mean yes, they were a cute highschool/first love romance. I'll never deny them that nor will I dismiss the significance of their relationship and what part it played in their growing up.
But more often than not people do grow out of that puppy love and I strongly believe that also as characters Shawn and Angela did too when BMW ended.
I just hope this episode drives the point home for the BMW old timers watching the show...
Dr. Valac, this season's main villain is the third eye guy from past season, so you could be totally right. I hope we're both wrong, and at least Aiden's back for real, or his twin. I still have stupid hope for Isaac and Jackson!
ReplyDeleteGMW didn't make anything clear about Cory and Topanga, BMW did that in like season 4 and just stuck with it til the end of time. smh.
ReplyDeleteI don't get why some of the audience are hung up on them either. It's just like you said, they were puppy love HS couple, then went on in college and broke up. People move on. I didn't dislike them as a couple (most times i found them much more entertaining than Cory and Topanga) but i was definitely not "heartbroken" when it was stated they didn't end up together. (Thank God!) And i too felt they were done in BMW before the show ended.
And as a "BMW old timer" i can honestly say...how can they not see the "point has been driven home" already.

ReplyDeleteThere was an episode last season, where Topanga was trying to explain to Auggie how people don't end up with their first love, and where he got that crazy idea, and he said "You and Daddy" and she realises and says out loud how unusual that really is.
They didn't shy away from it...
I doubt it, then again i hate her. Do you think she's a writer too, like Shawn?

ReplyDeleteIt was forceddddd. That's the point. She had no reason to be Surprised or realize anything. Their story was already told in BMW. GMW is just recycling their old storylines for the sake of that show. That's about it.
ReplyDeleteWell if she's acting as silly and adolescent as,Cory and Topanga, you'll probably hate her even more. I know I won't like her at all. And for someone who hates her, you're sure staying on topic about her.

ReplyDeleteWhy wouldn't they?? She was Cory's friend, she was Topanga's best friend not to mention, MOH at her wedding. That's more than enough reason for her to guest star. Just because she's not getting back with Shawn doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to appear on a show. She doesn't have to be a romantic interest to come back. And when Shawn so out of the blue started pining for her, it was a hint that she'd visit. And she'll probably put the final nail in that coffin, probably give him some cliché line like "Be happy" (rolls eyes) so he can "move on" to what's her face.

ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was forced, mostly because Danielle played it very well, in her honest, "People don't automatically assume we are NOT the default situation?" reaction. Her acting and her earnestness saved what could have been a cheesy and on the nose moment. But we can agree to disagree on that.
What I will concede with though, is that it was probably a rehash from the old show, but I think it was mostly directed to the new audience who don't know the history of Cory and Topanga. But as I said the execution worked for me, so I didn't mind.
Yeah, in TW's season 5 wikipedia page it is confirmed. I think it'll be a trio of doctors and their leader is Dr. Valac. Though I'm not completely sure he's the third eye guy, but almost a guarantee.
