E! News can exclusively reveal that Cristine Rose is set to reprise her iconic role as Angela Petrelli in a guest starring arc on the rebooted NBC miniseries.
Fans will remember Rose's villainous character as the mother of Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), who has the ability to see into the future and the past through dreams, and can also enter and manipulate other people's dreams. She was determined to see one of her sons become a powerful leader...no matter the cost.

This is good news.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool, I always liked that character.
ReplyDeleteshe will be only member of her family returning but great to see her back.
ReplyDeleteYes! This is great news.
ReplyDeleteBy Fall, they will add every other characters except Claire & Peter-The two characters everyone wanted!
ReplyDeleteOnly returning character so far I am *really* happy to see back. Love mama Petrelli.
ReplyDeleteMama's back!!!! Better watch out!
ReplyDeleteOne more hero returns and I think I'm out.....
ReplyDeleteI was interested in a reboot not a redo of the original doo-doo.
I wonder if any of the new 'heroes' could be her grandchildren/Nathan & Heidi's sons, Simon & Monty ?
ReplyDeleteBut she's now Ted's mother! XD
ReplyDeleteNice! She is my favorite female character.
ReplyDeleteI also hope that one of the characters is related to Charlie.
Nathan needs to return!
ReplyDeleteever since the finale I'm trying to forget that show ever existed
ReplyDeleteHELL YEAH! :D:D:D:D
ReplyDeleteYay! Finally someone, aside from HRG, that I'm glad it's returning!
ReplyDeleteBut she is Phoebe's mother-in-law.
ReplyDeletePretty much this.
ReplyDeleteHe dead. Also EW confirmed that Adrian Pasdar is not returning.
ReplyDeleteMe too :P
ReplyDeleteNo thanks to Samuel returning. And Lyle was just as pointless of a character as his mother..
ReplyDeleteI forgot about that! Shame on me.
ReplyDeleteThe only casting return news is Claire. The other one is kind of not that interesting.
ReplyDeleteCompletely stole the show in her every scene, very looking forward to this now :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I just kepz hoping that at least one of my favourites would return
ReplyDeleteAnother character i loved during the original series... i hope this show goes from limited mini series to a fully blown tv series... one can only dream though :/ :D
ReplyDeleteYou aren't a fan of Robert Knepper ?
ReplyDeleteLyla could be interesing if he was recast.
Robert Knepper is fantastic, but Samuel was just a dull character for me. Also, Tim Kring says the returnees announcements are pretty much finished with Christine Rose unless anyone else changes their minds and decides they want to come back.
ReplyDeleteI never cared about him TBH.
ReplyDeleteThe only three I care about returning now are Ando Masahashi { his dynamic with Hiro was hilarious }, Molly Walker { loved her as Phoebe's daughter on "Charmed" and Iris Miller / Caroline Farrell on "Dollhouse" }, and Elle Bishop { it's Veronica FRIGGIN Mars }
ReplyDeleteDo you know if there was any discussions with James Kyson, Adair Tishler, and Kristen Bell about returning ?
It's not that I am not a fan of Robert Knepper (I am indifferent about him as an actor) but season 4 with the whole carny storyline was just awful and I don't need anymore of that.

What happened to the idea of this being a complete reboot?!? Or was I making that up in my mind??
ReplyDeleteI love that they are bringing back the old characters and hopefully wrap their storylines up. There will be a lot of new characters, so it´s still a reboot.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteIt's no longer a reboot.. Now it's a sequel series.
A very different thing and not nearly as interesting to me.
If I had known all these characters would be returning earlier, I wouldn't have gotten so excited. I atleast hope the new characters take central stage and have room to breathe and a story arc of their own to which these old characters are pulled into.
ReplyDeleteIf it's just a continuation of the old story with the new characters just popping in, I will be severely disappointed.
I think I would be okay with that as well, but with so many previous characters returning I think it will cut into scene time a great deal. If each returnee has a few scenes for a few episodes it will add up quickly... Especially when it is a shorter season to begin with,
ReplyDeleteMaybe if the returnees only make extremely brief cameos and fly by appearances, but then why even bring them back to start with?
Either way, while I was excited for the reboot initially, my excitement has worn off and now I have very low expectations.
NO SAMUEL!!!!
ReplyDeleteAngela !!! So good to hear that.. But still need my Sylar :(
ReplyDeleteCristine is great, and I really liked Angela, but I'm not sure about this...
