Per EW, Adrian Pasdar will not be returning.

There are also a few memorable performers whom EW has confirmed will not be on board.

Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar, Milo Ventimiglia, and Zachary Quinto are among those who won’t be a part of the new version, which has lined up a cast of newcomers to the franchise including Zachary Levi (Chuck)

    Not surprising... didnt nathan die anyway. I really want claire to return and maybe ali carters characters. Sylar should of been killed off in season one anyway so him not returning doesn't bother me. Although peter i think should have a small cameo.

    I'm happy we won't be seeing Nathan, always hated the character, he lacked charisma and he flip flopped between being nice and a jerk way too often

    The most pathetic aspect of this is that this is even news!
    It should not be news that an original character is not returning to what was described originally as a reboot. Now with so many characters returning, even in limited arcs, the series is no longer a reboot. It has become a sequel series.

    I hate his voice acting as Tony Stark, but I think he was good in Heroes.

    Yeah I really hated him in Heroes. Mysterious Ways is the only role I found him not annoying in sadly. I particularly hate him on Agents of SHIELD
