Hope this means team Grimm will be on the offense with the resistance against the royals this season. Double finger cross it means we get to see where the keys need to be in order to 'unlock' the treasure. Hail Mary in the endzone we finally are told about grey/zombie Nick.
Finally Grimm will be a true Grimm, like his mother WAS!!!! FROM THE OLD SCHOOL. Well he must continue with this mission, his life, and his work. The world will continue outside. He now is gonna to be a father, a warrior much more stronger, of mind & body , like the phoenix.
Funny thing is when I was watching the last season I couldn't help but think 2 things. 1) Once it was clear that Juliet had gone all dark side, why the hell didn't Nick move the trailer. 2) At some point in a future season they'd have to deal with someone torching the trailer.
Vengeance sure... but on who exactly? Not Adalind since she is pregnant with his child and they'll probably be a dysfunctional couple by midseason. Not Trubel or her new friends since he'll probably forgive her sooner than later. And on the royals we have a dead king (persumably) and the heir apparent Kenneth dead and disgraced... so who's the new face of the royal family?
I was so hoping that in his cute obsessive way, Wu would have digitized the collection and took the photos home to study. That would have allowed the gang to still have access to the information... I guess that is the point of it burning though... Ack!
Seems like the new "Big Bad" will be Agent Chavez's group and not concentrate on the Royals as much, but yeah... Not sure how Nick would get revenge against them....
Have the producers or writers said that? It seems to make more sense that Agent Chavez's group would be an ally. I thought the point of that phone call that Trubel hid from Bud was to imply that Trubel now worked with Chavez's group.
The archivist/realist in me says, why the heck didn't they bother to digitize any of it? It never made sense to me that they didn't at least scan the pages, take a digital picture, something. back when they forgot that Juliette wasw a vet, they could have made that her pet project. I mean she was already Research Girl. Wu could have taken over when Juliette went psycho.
Very good point. Trubel is the saving grace of this show so they can't get rid of her and it would make more sense if both Grimms worked together and not in opposition. Plus why in the world would Nick blame them?
I think it was a creative decision to allow the show to expand beyond those initial stories because I can only guess that had they went forth with the keys sooner, it would have been done and over with as early as Season 3.
Ideally as a long-time fan, I would want to see the key storyline end with Nick finally going to Europe to finally stop the Seven Houses from whatever it is that the map in those keys entail.
I think that the principle of it was that, in the event that Nick would have to destroy all his Wesen books (to keep it from falling into the wrong hands), it would be easier to burn it all down than delete the evidence on a computer. because there are all kinds of ways to dig up delete files, but when something his ashes, there just no going back. And that logic would work, if those books were valuable to wesen. But I agree with you because, presumebly, all the info that Nick's ancesters have gathered is basically something that would be fairly easy to find out within the wesen community. So, really, the only "wrong hands" who would have an interest in all that stuff would have wanted it just for the pleasure of watching it all burn down and to mess with Nick. So there was no reason not to archive it digitally.
Well at the end of the episode, it seemed like chavez was pissed off at her so I think Trubel went AWOL. If there was Wesen trouble in Portland and the Group she worked for was a good ally, wouldn't she have brought them along as backup? There has to be some reason she didn't them to come along when she went back to helpher friends
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I like this promo, i should start watching this, dunno how I missed to watch the show
ReplyDeleteI still have the season 1 box set at home, unwatched. Not sure how but I just can't get myself to start it
ReplyDeletePosters for many shows often come out in the weeks leading up to Comic Con
ReplyDeleteI really like the slogan for the season
ReplyDeleteMockingjay Part 2 looking good...
ReplyDelete(alternate comedy option: *sings* This Grimm is on fiiiiiire)
I really like this poster, and I'm really looking forward to see where we find Nick next season, emotionally speaking.
ReplyDeleteGreat poster. Can't wait for season 5.
ReplyDeleteHa, for a moment I thought it was "you" on poster.

ReplyDeleteDid anyone else ever see an exit interview with Bitsie ? I did not --- hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteStill makes me mad that hexenbitch burned the trailer!
ReplyDeleteAll that history gone! Ugh!
The antiques collector and historian within me rages every time I think of it! XD
This poster made my remember another NBC show-Chicago fire.LOL!

Finally Jennifer Lawrence looks like a woman!

ReplyDeleteI have not read anything about the direction the next season will take, no.
ReplyDeleteI'm still on the fence if her group will be allies or foes. They seem a bit ominous to me I guess...
That poster is better than the majority of episodes last season.

ReplyDeleteI hope for a final season soon.
ReplyDeleteExactly, what happened to the plot keys?
ReplyDeleteI hope Trubel's back to regular episodes in this season
ReplyDeleteMuch better than the previous one for some reason.
ReplyDeleteShowrunners said before the premiere of Season 4 that the key storyline will be explored further in another season, which is this one supposedly.
ReplyDeleteStrange, because in season 1 it was the main plot then the show took in another direction.Thank you.

I can't wait and see the sneak peek that they are going to show at Comic-Con.
