Gotham - Season 2 - James Frain Joins Cast in a Villainous Series Regular Role

EXCLUSIVE: With Fish Mooney out of the picture (at least for now), Gotham will be introducing a new formidable villainous duo in Season 2: Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan. A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for — he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha (yet to be cast). But behind Galavan’s altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains… and the destruction of others.

Frain is currently recurring on the second season of HBO’s True Detective and has been recurring on BBC America’s Orphan Black. His feature credits include TRON: Legacy and Water for Elephants.

Also, sidenote: I hope this doesn't mean we won't see anymore of Ferdinand. Because he sooooooo needs to come back to Orphan Black next season!
