  1. Ridiculously excited for the last 2 episodes of S5.

  2. You'd think after all this time I'd be used to how attractive Emilia is.

  3. The dreaded ep 9, What could happen here?, Jorah's death?

  4. I fear more than just his.

  5. Where the heck is Varys - that has become a loooong road to Meereen for him.

  6. I think we'll be in King's Landing

  7. yeh, I kind of hope they spoil book readers for one character. I actually wonder if the next book will end up finished before next season. Quite the possibility of a no there.

  8. I think he could be there, but I'm still holding out for him appearing in Dorne for a Aegon reveal.

  9. Meryn Trant's death, I should hope! ;)

  10. I read somewhere yesterday that GRRM does plan on releasing the book before the sixth season.

  11. I think everyone is hoping it will be up by next Spring but I don't think it will.

  12. That would actually be great. But Id sort put that at a 1 in 10 shot though. But Id love to be wrong.

  13. seems like Id much rather see that book scene with him as it was. But the Aegon thing make the Dorne part interesting, I think the show mostly messed that up, from what I know of it.

  14. “Maybe I’m being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish,” Martin told EW. “But I canceled two convention appearances, I’m turning down a lot more interview—anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done.”

I'm not a book reader myself, so I'm not desperately waiting for the next one. I was actually kind of looking forward to watching the show without being spoiled by book readers for once. :p God, they're everywhere.

  15. For me, it's mostly how they ended with one character and usually Martin is definitive on these things. But so much was openended with him that it does not work. They slowed burn that part on the show you might not notice it come the season finale. Tried not to spoil it by my response as to why I wanted an answer. But you'll get what I mean by the finale.

  16. Agreed, he's an important character to the narrative I feel. The Dorne stuff just feels a bit weak so far, an Aegon reveal would liven it up at least. Changing his story up a little would also keep fans guessing about his true identity perhaps? Personally, I'd like his reveal to Jamie who takes him back to KL where he takes on Cersei's 'champion' at her trial....maybe I should stick to fan fiction though, lol.

  17. D&D write the next season as the current one airs and then it is filmed over the summer. Casting calls already went out. GRRM could finish the book tomorrow and it would't matter

  18. Doubt. Aryia will probably have to choose between killing him or continuing on with her training

  19. He'll probably pop back up in King's Landing to off Pycel & Kevan Lannister

  20. I both read the books and watch the show. I love that they've startet
(more and more) to write the storyline in the show different from the
    one in the books.

For me, this makes the show much more interesting to watch. And for those who don't read the books, luckily the bookreaders can't really spoil the episodes anymore, simply because they don't know what's going to happen in the show. I do hope the last episode give bookreaders a spoiler when it comes to a certain character. But considering this last season, we don't know how trustworthy a spoiler from the show will be. And I don't think they will spoil anything. I believe they'll end the season with a cliffhanger.

  21. yes, I've read some theories about Rhaenys Targaryen getting that Young Griff storyline in Dorne... it blew my mind lol

  22. seems like it might only be a cliffhanger for book readers, they really slow burned it until this season with him and even that was small. Given these things are usually permanent on the show, not always, but not for major characters anyway.

But I don't really mind the changes too much. They might even diverge even more in these last two episodes if they want two, the potential is there.
