No adjustments for Broadcast. When all the schedules were announced I thought these Thursdays would be much more competitive number wise.
ReplyDeleteQuite underwhelming.
Meh The Astronaut Wives Club. I'd expected something like The Whispers.
ReplyDeleteCW Exec#1: "Frank, how are Beauty and the Beasts ratings doing?"
ReplyDeleteCW Exec#2: "Beauty and the Beast? I thought we cancelled that show last year?"
CW Exec#1: "Nope, we renewed it for a third season"
CW Exec#2: "Well, that's unbelievable but I'll play along: did a 0.3 on a non-competetive night. Are you sure you're not confusing BatB with Reign?"
CW Exec#1: "By god, these numbers are abysmal! We shouldn't have renewed it for season 4!"
CW Exec#2: "No way anyone in their right minds would renew that show for a fourth season before even having season 3 premiere."
CW Exec#1: "But we did...."
CW Exec#2: "That's it, no more free heroin for you guys and no more conjugal visits from the BatB cast!"
CW Exec#1: "But we need the blow and the blows!"
AWC actually adjusted up?
ReplyDeleteIn one week wayward pines is back!! Even a two week hiatus feels long
ReplyDeleteOne thing you can say about the BATB ratings they are always consistent, consistently bad that is.
ReplyDeleteWayward Pines is already available. It aired in some places outside the U.S. last night.
ReplyDeleteit could eventually go down to 0.0 rating at some point
ReplyDeleteI think the lowest it has gone is 0.2 but yeah I could see it getting 0.0.
ReplyDeleteYeah, saw it this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteNope.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty underwhelming, especially after the last episode.
ReplyDeleteYes it really was! And oh god, a part (I think you know which one I'm talking about) got me so scared lol.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather wait until it comes out next week
ReplyDeleteOh okay
ReplyDeleteI think it is allowed to have one underwhelming episode
ReplyDeleteLol I know the scene, I watched the last episode in the dark and learned my lesson from that one! I watched this one in the middle of the day. Those parts in the beginning and end were the only parts I liked about the episode.
ReplyDeleteI liked the episode overall but, you know, after episode 5 I knew it'd be hard to have a better episode than the last one.
ReplyDeleteNot that great for Complications, but considering they have veteran shows that pull 0.3 and 0.4s, it'll probably get a chance to find itself on roster. The fact that the two hours held steady is a big plus, those that came like what they saw.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but I found this episode extremely underwhelming, the beginning and end were all I enjoyed. I was actually tempted to switch it off in the middle and finish later.
ReplyDeleteI would've been surprised if they topped that episode. A lot of this one though just felt like explaining things we already knew.
ReplyDeleteSummer in general has been underwhelming for broadcast, with the one big exception of American Ninja Warrior being way up year to year.
ReplyDeleteIf this is a sign to come, FOX and ABC should be very concerned. They aren't finding traction at all for their summer slate and history indicates that it funnels into their fall performance.
Wow... that is horrible for Complications. And is the lowest debut for a USA network show. I wouldn't be surprised with a timeslot change or early pull by the end of the week. It fell even below the, really, low bar set by Rush.
ReplyDeleteWhy you Hate Reign So Much?
ReplyDeleteYou are correct about the Satisfaction premiere numbers. Perhaps the show would be moved back to 10pm with Graceland moving up to 9pm. USA pulling the show when it only has 8 more episodes to air, I dont recall USA ever pulling a scripted show off the air, and in fact besides Those Who Kill (A&E), I cant think of another scripted cable series that has been pulled. That along with Nix having created one of their biggest hits, makes me think it wont happen regardless of how bad the ratings might get for episodes 3-10.
ReplyDeleteIs that surprise you?! ;) If the CW are happy about it, no but seriously this is really bad for a third season.
ReplyDeleteI don't, it's a bad show that gets renewed despite horrible ratings. It's more me being annoyed with it
ReplyDeleteSatisfaction got a 0.5 for its premiere, not a 0.2
ReplyDeleteHoD had more chance of pullin .4 and .5 than BaTB. Well The fans od that show must be happy
ReplyDeleteIs Hannibal still low, isn'it? :(
ReplyDeleteHoD had enough episodes for syndication,BatB Dosent.BatB sold really well internationally,HoD didn't.BatB is a cheap international co -production,HoD while cheap isn't.BatB is a pet project of CWs prez,HoD isn't.Rumor is Rachel wants to stay home with her baby.BatB is CBS,HoD WB.Pkus HoD in season/regular season only pulled 0.5 once and one 0.3 in s4& lots of 0.2-0.3 in late s3.
ReplyDeleteBeauty and the beast is awesome
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty decent for the Astronaut Wives Club I think...
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love this show. It has good plots, romance, and action. Why do people say bad things about the show. If they don't like it, don't watch. We will and enjoy.
