Adam Rodriguez (The Night Shift, CSI: Miami) has joined Season 2 of Empire in a recurring role, and from the sounds of it, his character may be mixing up a cocktail that’s equal parts business and pleasure for Empire Entertainment’s matriarch.
Rodriguez will play native New Yorker and former EMT Laz Delgado, who’s described by producers as “a smooth-talking concert promoter with expert hustler skills… who takes an interest in Cookie.”

Oh yummy.
ReplyDeleteUgh, never been a fan of him.
ReplyDeleteHe cannot act and it's going to be glaringly obvious if he is with TH in any scenes.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan. CSI Miami had the worst acting I've ever seen on TV. I just can't help but roll my eyes when I think about Horatio and his sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. I really don't. He's one of the weakest, one expression actors I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteI know! Some casting choices are beyond me. Even Dylan Bruce got cast on Orphan Black. That's another mystery.
ReplyDeleteWasn't he Taraji Love intrest in Tyler Perrys movie? Kinda always has the same facial reaction lol
ReplyDeleteHe plays her love interest so safe to say they'll be sharing scenes.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a shame. For him. Unless he's just there to be shirtless and he doesn't have any actual lines of dialogue.
ReplyDeleteSounds exciting! Can't wait for season 2. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love how he gravitates towards ethnic-based shows. He adds a lot of credence to them. I'am surprised he hasn't gotten a lead role off the back of his CSI: Miami work.
ReplyDeleteIt was the one-liners for me.
ReplyDelete'I can do bad all on my own'? Yes, they've worked together before.
