One and Three on a mission together?! Two that's like a bonfire and a flamethrower put together LOL. Loving these scenes in the mess hall, very family-like.
I think that too, but maybe only One/Corso. Everything so far is making me think that he's some kind of an undercover operative, taking Corso's face to infiltrate the mercerary's crew...
From what I understand the clones are used for long range travel. They do what you need them to do on the other side of the galaxy, then the memories they form are uploaded into your head, hence the short shelf life. JM talked about it at some point.
I read somewhere that this episode The Android is feeling kind of lonely being left behind on the ship. I hope she gets to go out with the team at some point. One thing I would kill to see is her trying to navigate a forest.
I don't know, actually. The clones that exist in this universe at the moment, these 'Dupes' have a set function and lifespan, but I'm assuming it was planned that way, which means they could be altered to life a long human lifespan. So clones unlikely, but not beyond the realm of possibility.
I have no clue what's going on, I'm just throwing theories at the wall and seeing what sticks at this point. It all depends on how much sentience the Dupes have. I mean, if they're just like the originals, then why would they just be happy to live out two days and die? It makes more sense for them to be some kind of clone body that then undergoes a transfer of consciousness, so they're not really alive in themselves. But that has too many implications about immortality and such that I don't think the show will explore, so I don't really think that's it either. This Dupe business is a functioning one, so they must work, but I just don't know how they'd do what they do and be fully sentient people, but then how would they complete their mission if they weren't like the originals? As you can see, I am confused and overwhelmed. We'll just have to wait and see.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
After that twist I can't wait to see this! It will also be nice to get off the ship and see other people.
ReplyDeleteI think they are clones of the criminals they think they are.
ReplyDeleteClones and not masks? Um this is very FAR OFF but Kyle XY style? In that they don't remember anything because there's NOTHING to remember?

ReplyDeleteAt the end, Five is like every teenager on the way to the store.
ReplyDeleteTotally LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that I have finally found next good tv show worth watching. Definitely looking forward next episode.
ReplyDeleteI feel like they make her too childish. This wasn't bad, but last episode? "hey, do you want to play?" She's not five years old
ReplyDeleteI'm really excied for the next episode, even though One's story arc seems to be headed in the total cliché of having an evil twin
ReplyDeleteBut she's not 18 either, she 15-16 and it shows that she's still a kid.
ReplyDeleteCorso being the evil twin right? Although part of me likes that theory that someone put that maybe the crew are clones.
ReplyDeleteI think that too, but maybe only One/Corso. Everything so far is making me think that he's some kind of an undercover operative, taking Corso's face to infiltrate the mercerary's crew...
ReplyDeleteThat's my point. They try to make her young, but aim a little TOO young. Teenagers don't hound adults to play games with them.
ReplyDeleteSo clones exist but it sounds like it's been debunked, they even have names: "Dupes" wow. Marc Bendavid is crazy good art playing both One and Corso.

ReplyDeleteSo is the clone theory debunked now? Since clones barely live?

ReplyDeleteSo are you thinking these clones are different? That one of them found a way to get rid of their shelf-life and become a full functioning human?

ReplyDeleteYeah i guess so.
ReplyDeleteWell, she is a teenager on a spaceship without any people in the same age around her. She is bored and lonely. She just wants company.
