Yay Archer :)
ReplyDeleteAlready happy with both of these. I'm going to miss Jon Stewart.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that Comedy Central lost me for good with Stewart and Colbert leaving. Plus cancelling Brickleberry. The only show I still watch on CC is Tosh.0
ReplyDeleteany way to watch this live?
ReplyDeleteIf you are in the states, it's on A&E right now. I'm unsure of where else.
ReplyDeleteMe too! I was so upset when he announced he was leaving. Losing them both was harsh.
ReplyDeleteNo way that timing was a coincidence. IMO they had contracts up until 2015 and Colbert just was the first to get a better new gig. Stewart produces a lot so he must have a steady income as well.
ReplyDeleteHorrible to imagine that Stewarts show ends while O'Reilly is still having his -,-
I'm really happy Gravity Falls got nominated. It's really good!
ReplyDeleteMe too, I love the show and all the characters :)
ReplyDeleteAt least they got one right: Jonathan Banks was awesome in "Better Call Saul" this season.
ReplyDeleteAllison Janney should get every single award for what she did this year on Mom. I love many comedy actresses around but there is just no comparison for me
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand Seth MacFarlane and they just wasted way too much time on him.
ReplyDeletethink about him what you want but he's a great stand-up
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Archer and Jonathan Banks!
ReplyDeleteI've never liked him. I don't know exactly what it is about him that rubbed me wrong from the first time I ever saw him but that feeling never went away.
ReplyDelete"The only difference between Seth and the hooker in Charlie Sheens bedroom is that the hooker eventually came out"
ReplyDelete- Kate Walsh about Seth MacFarlane :P
Congratz to Sra Paulson and Allison Janney they both deserve it. Sad that CArrie Coon didnt win.
ReplyDeleteHa! I've never read that. That's funny.
ReplyDeleteA bit sad that Constance Wu didn't win it but Amy Schumer has been on fire. Can't deny that.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Jeffrey Tambor. He's been amazing since Three's Company. Decades of greatness.
ReplyDeleteI missed it. I'll have to look for it on YT.
ReplyDeleteI hope she bags the Emmy this year too.
ReplyDeleteYES!! Taraji:)
ReplyDeleteLove Bob Odendrik and his performance as Saul but IMHO, Matthew Rhys as Philip Jennings is far more deserving of it.
ReplyDeleteUgh, damn it Eva Green!
ReplyDeleteSo proud of Taraji. She kills as Cookie n she's a beast talent.👏
ReplyDeleteYes, The Americans won.
ReplyDeleteI agree and Keri Russell deserves more recognition as well.
ReplyDeleteFresh Off The Boat doesn't have the critical fervor that other shows does. She's never really going to be appreciated as she should.
ReplyDeleteI know :( I still love her :)
ReplyDeleteOH YES!!! The Americans for Best Drama. Very deserving win.
ReplyDeleteSilicon Valley - well deserved too. Hilarious stuff.
Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely deserved to win, but I was still surprised it won lol.
ReplyDeleteMy two favorites, Viola Davis and Constance Wu, didn't win but hey, at least they were nominated. Normally the stuff nominated I don't even watch much less think are the best.
ReplyDeleteI like most winners.
ReplyDeleteBetter enjoy it before Emmy frustration comes in september.
Definitely

ReplyDeleteIt would've been great for Gina to win her category but booo it didnt happen.
None of the deserving ones won-Gina,Jaime,Laurie,Johhny,Viola,Cicley.
ReplyDeleteWould have loved if Graham Norton had won. Best talk show by far on either side of the Altlantic.
ReplyDeleteHappy about Allison Janney. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide if I am happy that Taraji won or sad that Viola didn't.
Not happy that Constance didn't win, she deserved to.
No nod to Outlander, really? The acting in that series is amazing and it deserves more recognition...
ReplyDeleteYou and me both. Hell, I still miss Stephen!
ReplyDeleteYay for him winning tonight, though (only one of my favorite shows nominated that won anything tonight, it seems)! I am happy to see John Oliver was nominated, too-I hope he can start racking up some of these kinds of awards with time as well.
I find myself in that boat often, too. Some of my favorite things/shows I've seen were nominated tonight, though, so hey, that's something.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad Cicely Tyson didn't win the award she was up for. I LOVED her appearance on "How to Get Away with Murder"-she and Viola were absolutely riveting throughout that entire episode.
I really need to start watching The Americans ASAP!
ReplyDeleteVery happy to see BCS got some well deserved love!
While Taraji P. Henson - "Empire" does ok, she most definitely does not even deserve a nomination let alone a win, just shows how a show´s popularity wins awards.
ReplyDeleteEva Green, Caitriona Balfe, Keri Russell, Julianna Margulies, Robin Wright, Lizzy Caplan, Ruth Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Viola Davis and even Claire Danes run circles around her.
Can't believe vera farmiga didn't win she was amazing this season in bates motel
ReplyDeleteSo glad for The Americans ;-)
ReplyDeleteReally cool to see some different nominations here, and a lot of great winners too. Happy for Amy Schumer, Sarah Paulson, The Daily Show, Archer, Lorraine Toussant, Jonathan Banks + Bob Odenkirk, Taraji... oddly enough, The Americans is basically the only FX show I don't watch, but I've heard nothing but great things and I'm glad to see them pick up a win.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a travesty if she didn't.
ReplyDeleteOMG they actually honored Revenge!!!!! That is so cool
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Jonathan Banks!!!
ReplyDeleteI have started catching up on Silicon Valley and honestly, it'll admit it is a fine show, but VEEP is better in every way, so SV winning in it's categories over the brilliance that is VEEP is a bit undewhelming IMO...
The Americans, Allison Janney, Taraji P. Henson and Sarah Paulson (!!!!!) Glad for them all.
