BRIDAL SHOWERS, BACHELOR PARTIES AND BEASTS — JT (Austin Basis) throws Vincent (Jay Ryan) a surprise bachelor party. Unfortunately, it is interrupted by a mysterious sniper with his sights set on putting a stop to Vincent and Cat’s (Kristin Kreuk) interference with the super human experiments. Cat’s family comes to town for a bridal shower arranged by Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson) but Cat is distracted by having to visit her imprisoned father (guest star Ted Whittall) to ask for his help. Nina Lisandrello also stars. Jill Carter directed the episode written by Gillian Horvath (#306). Original airdate 7/16/2015.

Chasing Ghosts - Hmmmmm - sounds terrific. I'm glad we'll be seeing Catherine's bio father again. Hope she tells him that she's going to marry Vincent. Has Reynolds accepted Vincent or is he going to make him walk into another trap when Catherine asks for his help again. A lot of mystery and intrigue - love it, love it, love it. Hope Heather meets someone and hopefully it's going to be Vincent's nephew Aaron. I know these episodes have already been written and maybe the writers haven't thought of an Aaron and Heather hookup, but it would have been nice.

ReplyDeleteIt was just before the season finale that he very "begrudgingly" accepted Vincent, as I remember. I don't trust Reynolds because he has a deep seeded hatred for beasts which goes back to his family history and Rebecca. There's more to that story and who knows if the writers will continue it in S4. I have the feeling that Reynolds still can't be trusted and if Catherine asks for his help this is where we might learn more about him. He definitely should have information on who is behind these experiments or at least have a lead they can follow. Reynolds was right in the middle of the Muirfield experiments so he has got to know something. So exciting.
ReplyDeleteYeah i guess you're right, and if anyone has a clue on who could be behind human experimentation is the guy who had Vincent re-programmed.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that Reynolds had Vincent re-programmed pretty much says that he knows more than what he has told his own daughter. Cat's mother knew quite a bit too because she was one of the scientists behind making Vincent a "super soldier". There's more to both her parents than we've learned and I think if the writers bring something out in each episode, #BATB is going to be a fascinating series. JMO

ReplyDeleteI had the same thoughts like you about Aaron. I really wished he would have been called in S3 but like you said, the eps are all wrapped up. Maybe the writers will consider him for season 4 you never know....hint hint BatbWriters!
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see him in S4 too, Maggie. Wouldn't it be a nice surprise if the writers did think of him and we see Aaron before S3 is over. He'd be so good for Heather. Maybe both our brainwaves will get to the writers.
ReplyDeleteHere it is BATB night and it's just 3.5 hours away. This episode is going to be awesome. I hear we're going to get everything we love to see in it. Can't wait, but at least now it's the countdown to 8:00 p.m.

ReplyDeleteOMG Denise, I hope not. You may not be so wrong because there were pictures of him with Austin Basis and it said that he was visiting the set. I hope all you had was just daymare, but you never know with whoever is doing these experiments. Could it be they took his body and brought him back. What a nightmare that would be for Vincent. I've been enjoying S3 a lot too, but if they bring him back, it's going to be a big disappointment.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I feel the same way. I hated S2 and kept hoping it would get better, but it just got worse. If they bring that nightmare back, I won't be able to watch BATB either. Let's hope they don't bring him back because it would really be a big mistake and would kill the series. So far though, S3 has been fabulous. I'm so looking forward to VinCat getting married.

ReplyDeleteYeah he's back to being a good guy too, and he'll have an accent again after years of using his real American accent.
ReplyDeleteSendhil is an excellent actor. If he wasn't, we wouldn't be hating him so much as Gabe. He played his part extraordinarily well. He's very talented.
