EW has learned exclusively that James D’Arcy and Enver Gjokaj—who play Edwin Jarvis and Agent Daniel Sousa, respectively—have signed on as series regulars for season 2.
While Marvel declined to comment, we hear deals for Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson), Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli) are forthcoming. Hayley Atwell, naturally, is already slated to return.
Here’s the description of the new season: “Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

YES!! I'm very happy about this plus I can't wait to see more BTS craziness ;)

Yes!! Jarvis is a keeper.
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! They would be crazy to break up the Peggy/Jarvis friendship ;) and glad to hear that mostly everyone from S1 will be in S2
ReplyDeleteThat's great news, I didn't bet on Enver and Chad.
ReplyDeleteSad to see that Lyndsey isn't locked in yet, she was FANTASTIC in season one :D
Yes. I wouldn't know what to do without Jarvis.
ReplyDeleteAwesome but i NEED Lyndsy Fonseca to come back!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes! I am also very optimistic for Dottie, considering that the actress was at the Ant-man event. Now I only need Angie for my happiness...and perhaps a little bit of Howard, but not too much.
ReplyDeleteyay!
ReplyDeleteSince they're still brokering deals for a lot of the cast, I hope they all follow Peggy to LA and live in one big house. The fights and snarkiness would be so FUN. Either way, I need Angie and Peggy to be roommates.
ReplyDeleteYay! Both are sooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteFinally! Now only if Chad could sign a deal somehow...
ReplyDeletePerfect!
ReplyDeleteYesss
ReplyDeleteGive me Angie!
ReplyDeleteYEEPPPP!!! This cast is GOLDEN!!! :DDDDDDDDDDD
ReplyDeleteI love the line "we hear deals for Murray, Regan and Fonseca are forthcoming"
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be so great.
D'arcy was a given to return, but it's reassuring to hear he's definitely staying. Glad Gjokaj is, too, and probably the rest of the cast.
ReplyDeleteVery glad to hear this and it looks like the rest of the cast is coming back as well, which is awesome. I am looking forward to having them all back, even CMM whose character I ended up enjoying last year. I really love this show, very happy with our 10 episodes this year!
ReplyDeleteI think he will, the article looks optimistic.
ReplyDeleteMeh. I felt her character was a waste of screentime. She added nothing to the show.
ReplyDeleteSo happy that it looks like most of the gang is coming back . Great ! Peggy just had to have Jarvis with her.
ReplyDeleteShe was light and fun. Essential Agent Carters Felicity (in s1)
ReplyDeleteFelicity helped out angie didn't.
ReplyDeleteSo what? She's fun
ReplyDeleteWell they better make angie a secret agent or something or else no point in keeping her.
ReplyDeleteWell, personally, I hope they don't. Peggy needs someone to connect her to the real world, and that's what she did, otherwise all she'll have is work, and that's ok, it's tv show, so it's allright for her to NOT have a life, just not realistic. So I hope they keep her around as a normal person that brings some light into Peggy's world.
ReplyDeleteBringing Jarvis and Angie back is practically a must. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind leaving Chad Michael Murray's character running the New York office. I felt like his story ran its course, and new blood for the LA office might give the show a shot in the arm.
ReplyDeleteAs long as Angie is back I'm happy!! :)
ReplyDeleteWell all angies scenes are really useless and filler.
ReplyDeleteJulio, some people have friends, you have to accept that.
ReplyDeleteDarn it. I know a lot of people like Enver Gjokaj, but I was hoping that Peggy would get to leave all of her New York office baggage behind.
ReplyDelete*cough*Cartinelli*cough*
ReplyDeleteWell I'm sure lindsey fonseca wants more to do than to just be a friend.
ReplyDeleteYay,, my must was James because I love Jarvis but happy to see Sousa back.
ReplyDeleteGreat news. I was sure Jarvis was coming back, not for anyone else. I mean Jarvis was besides Peggy the soul of this show.
ReplyDeleteHoping for a good story next season.
Haha, me too, I thought it would make sense for Angie to move to LA and I loved Peggy's dynamic with Jarvis, but the rest I didn't care about. Oh I love Dottie, so that would be nice if she came back.
ReplyDeleteAngie helped Peggy evade the SSR in "A Sin to Err". Now that she knows the truth about what Peggy does, I imagine she'll be able to do more of that.
ReplyDeleteGreat news, although James at least was practically a given. I hope the rest are back too, except CMM (yuck - at his character that is, not the actor).
ReplyDeleteAre you? Do you have her on speed dial so you can ask her?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for James D'Arcy, Lyndsy Fonseca and Bridget Regan to return. Glad to know D'Arcy is returning because I love him so much. Now I wait hopeful for Lyndsy and Bridget! :)
ReplyDeleteI really hope so maybe she could train to be an agent too.
ReplyDeleteWell I imagine an actress would want to actually have some acting to do instead of just sitting around and doing nothing.
ReplyDeleteAh, see. that's your problem, that you see Angie's role as the normal person on Peggy's life as "nothing"
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!
ReplyDeleteI only need Dottie and Angie TBH... Thomson can go fall off a cliff for all I care!
(though credit where credit is due, CMM really owned the asshole part! However I still wouldn't miss him if he didn't come back...)
Also confirmation that Howard & DumDum (or anyone from the 107th) will occasionally pop up would be grrrrrrreat!
Uuuuuh.... I'll just bring episode 6 to your attention...
ReplyDelete"On the other hand, I wouldn't mind leaving Chad Michael Murray's character running the New York office."
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
At most they can have him pop in the LA office and stir trouble every now and again.
