Hey all,
Well, it's that time of year again. The fall shows have ended and the summer programming block has begun, which does of course mean that it's time for our summer competitions to begin! Once again, this year we'll be starting with the third edition of the Episode Competition!
Every episode of television is special. Each one contains elements that make it stand out from the crowd. And now, SpoilerTV is giving you the opportunity to select your favourite episodes of TV from the past 12 months, and battle against others to don the crown of Spoiler TV's favourite episode.
ANY episode that aired from 1st June 2014 to 31st May 2015 can be submitted. Episodes that did not air in this period will not be included. Please do not try to submit episodes that did not air in this period.
The top 64 episodes will enter the competition. However, if a particular show has more than two episodes in that top 64, only the two most voted for episodes will make it into the competition - thus giving other shows a better chance.
NOTES ABOUT SUBMISSIONS:
1. Please ensure that the episodes that you nominate have aired within the eligibility period as stated above. Episodes that aired outside of the eligibility period will not be counted and so you will be wasting a vote.
2. Please use the full show's title when submitting e.g. use Beauty and the Beast rather than BATB.
3. Please use the actual episode's name when submitting rather than any key word to describe it e.g. for the Person of Interest finale use YHWH instead of finale.
4. Please try to spell everything correctly as best you can as it will make my job of sorting through entries far easier.
Only 1 Submission per person. If you try to submit multiple times ALL your submissions will be removed.

I came really close to nominating the "Fall" episode for OUAT, it was tough decide.
I even wrote this on my laptop because I am so excited!!
ReplyDeleteSo for me the three best episodes will be based on how I liked
the entire episode, so not only the ending but also the pace and quality! After
watching these three episodes, I was either shocked or crying which made them
so good. Not in order though!
Abduction (4x13), Revenge
I mean whoa, that episode was just brilliant. As someone had said, it was the closest I ever was, to
having a heart-attack. It was excellent from beginning to end. Emily and
Victoria engaging in an alliance was absolutely brilliant! In addition, the
fighting scene was so well done! It was just brilliant, filled with tons of
suspense!!
Blood must have blood, Part 2 (2x16), the 100
I was broken after this episode. I was sitting on my couch still shocked and crying. I have never
watched such a finale. It was sooo sad. After I already was shocked and heartbroken
after all those people died in Mount Weather, but then came “Knockin’ on
Heavens Door”. That totally broke me. It was out of this world!!
Kill me, Kill me, Kill me (1x09) How to Get Away with Murder
I was debating which episode I should choose from HTGAWM’s brilliant first season. The reason I
picked this one was because of that unexpected twist at the end. In addition, I
was a bit disappointed when Sam fell down the stairs, all these theories of who
killed him for nothing. But of course something happened after. The whole tone
of that episode was dark. Viola was also incredible in that episode.

Good call on The100, Sadly they didn't make my cut. But I would maybe even go for part 1. The bigger shocker for sure.

ReplyDeleteI thought about which part to go for but I loved Part 2 a lot more, the recording Murphy found, Clarke saying goodbye to Bellamy, and that ending! Loved all of it :)
ReplyDeleteI get that especially "Skywalker" was a highlight as well. Clarke killing Finn was just sjahdsauhdlkjasndlhaskaj amazing.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to include 12 Monkeys but it didn't make it in for me. The episode I would've chosen is "Shonin" though.
ReplyDeletePart 2 felt more like a set up for s03, but had all those amazing moments U (and me) love.
ReplyDeleteThe use of "Knock knock on heavens door" was earth shattering.
I really hope Pedowitz is right and The100 will have its Breaking bad moment and get those ratings it deserves.
ReplyDeleteThere were a few episodes I thought to include, mainly the one where Clarke kills Finn and both parts of the finale. But the second part of the finale I loved every moment but the other 2 episodes had one incredible moment, I thought so anyway.
