DAY 4! (Results from yesterday can be found here.)

The rules are as follows:
1. Two episodes go head to head for 24 hours. The episode that emerges as winner will go through to the next round.
2. Vote for your favourite episode, and tell us what you voted for.
3. Tell others about the competition! Social media is your best friend in this competition if you want your favourite episode to win.
4. Be respectful. This is a competition, but be friendly. Let's not have any abuse directed at any person, fandom or show, as we've had on occasion in the past.

Today's opening battle sees Person of Interest's fourth season finale take on Bones' landmark 200th episode. The archaeology-based show's tenth season premiere then faces 'Two Boats and a Helicopter' from character-heavy The Leftovers. Reign's second season finale then goes up against The Mentalist's series finale. As many may remember, the CBS procedural made it to the final of the last year's competition, albeit in a losing effort, so I'm interested to see how the fans turn out for this year's edition. Finally, 'Beast is the New Black' from reigning champion Beauty and the Beast takes on Agents of SHIELD's second season finale. This is Beast's only episode in the competition - could we be guaranteed a new champion this early in the competition? Only the next 24 hours will tell.

    1. Nothing - Tried both shows but eventually dropped them.
    2. The Leftovers by default.
    3. Nothing - Dropped Reign and never watched The Mentalist.
    4. AOS by default - If it was any other episode I wouldn't have voted though.


    So far 2 of the 4 episodes I've voted for have gone through, they're up against each other in the next round though but OUAT - "Sympathy for the De Vil" will be getting my vote, that episode was too good!

    My votes:

    1. Person of Interest - YHWH (Solid season finale. It left the viewers with both answers and questions)

    2. N/A

    3. Reign - Burn (I thoroughly enjoyed this season finale and look forward to the new plot points it opened up. I'm particularly interested in where the story goes after Francis's foreshadowed death and in watching Catherine and Elizabeth team up.)

    4. Beauty and the Beast - Beast is the New Black (I spent most of this episode saying "POOR Vincent!!!" as he began his 6 episode arc as a fugitive accused of an act he didn't commit all because Gabe was jealous of Cat's love for Vincent...GRR!!!)

    As an aside, what was the 2nd most nominated Beauty and the Beast episode? Where did "Deja Vu" rank among them? I'm just curious. : )

    Only Person of Interest today - I don't watch the other shows. Well, I actually did struggle through Reign but I'm sure as heck not voting for any episode in that mess of a season.

    AOS is getting beaten by the same people that managed to take over the people's choice every year. This is not a question of which show is better but which fan base can figure out how to get around the one vote per IP address rule.
