Rules
- Polls need to be TV/Movie related.
- Polls should NOT be time sensitive as they is no guarantee when the polls will be posted. eg Don't post polls like "Who will die on next weeks episode".
- You must supply a Poll Question, and the possible choices. Please try to keep the number of options to a reasonable amount (Max of 20 Items)
- You can only Submit 1 Poll Per Day. Previous polls submitted will still be eligible for posting (ie you don't need to keep submitting the same poll everyday)
Each day we will pick one submitted poll at random to post on the site.
Bakshi and Ganzales are already dead, but I think at least one of Skye's parents aren't gonna make it. Mack might die also, and I'm not really a fan of Lincoln, so I wouldn't be too sad if he dies too.
I think Cal may be a goner and I would be gutted if he was. Raina maybe just because Ruth Negga has Preacher which seems likely to get picked up but hopefully she can still guest on AOS.
Since we know Mack has issues with Coulson and has quit, now it just depends on him surviving the attack on the Carrier. Weaver just cause they seem to be killing off his new "council" fairly quickly and Cal because one of her parents is going to die, and I still think it's him.
LOL. I submitted the poll before Bakshi and Gonzales bit it, but I didn't think they'd get many votes, much less that one of them would win. I guess Gonzales really is THAT hated. :D
Hate it when that happens. Just the other day, it happened to me the other way around: a poll I submitted about villains in the MCU before Daredevil and Age of Ultron came out was posted after, so people bemoaned the lack of Fisk and Ultron options.
I say: Other - Kara - sadly she's become more of a plot device for Ward's stupid schemes than anything and I don't see where they go with her character from here. Jiaying - like many people, I think Skye will once again be an orphan by the end of the season, and after her rather villainous move this week I think Jiaying is more likely to bite it than Cal (but it could be either).
I wasn't sure who else to vote for. I imagine there'll be casualties on both sides, but Mack seems like the only expendable one on SHIELD's side and after all the heat TPTB took for killing off Trip, it would be a really bad idea to axe* another black guy so soon.
If another Inhuman is to die, then although I'd hate it, Gordon is a likely candidate. Raina seems pretty important to me and I don't think they'd tease so much about a possible SkyeLinc pairing only to get rid of Lincoln so quickly.
* The use of the word "axe" is fitting here, right?
Speaking of recurring characters, whatever happened to Kirk Acevedo's character? So awesome to see him on the show then he gets injured by Skye and he's gone? On that list for characters who haven't died, I could see Cal having a full redemption arc by somehow sacrificing himself for his daughter. I love Cal and the actor, but the character been growing thin.
Yep, axe works there. Is English not your first language? I can't tell.
The only word that sounded slightly off to me was 'orphan', because it refers to a child whose both parents have died. Since Skye is an adult and still has Cal, she isn't technically an orphan. But the sentence was completely clear, otherwise.
Jiaying although I'm pissed off with the twist and I want dichen to be a part of the show I just know in my gut that jiaying will be killed to show how "good" (shield) won over "evil" pretty twisted if you ask me because the index itself is a horrifying idea, what if hydra gets their hands on the index all these inhumans who lived peacefully would suffer because of a war they weren't even a part of.
I hope I don't get any tomatoes thrown at me for this one, but - I'd be a lot sadder about losing Cal than I was about Trip. KM just *slays* in this role and I feel so sorry for his character after all the shit he's been through. He never wanted to become the monster he is.
I really hope Skye, Jailing, Coulson, May, Fitzsimmons, Hunter, Bobbi and Lincoln will survive, they are my favourite characters. Cal, Mack, Kara, Gordon and Weaver can die. They are not as interesting as them or as vital to the storyline. and yeah people say because Jaiying started this was she should die. But I don't see it that way, she's a leader trying to save her people from the same horrors she had to endure, and the Index is highly dangerous for them, as it makes them targets by the public. Plus she's a true gray-character, she's a good person that does bad things but for a very good reason. Like look at the way she cares for her people now and in flashbacks, thats not a bad person, she's protective, especially of Skye now.
He really is remarkable in the role, he brings a manic energy to it and its something different for the show. I hope he sticks around but I could see him dying to save Skye or Jiaying. It would be really sad though.
I think Mack, Kara and Cal are more likely to bite the dust, but killing another black character in one season just doesn't seem right. As long as Lincol, Gordon and Raina survive though, I'm fine.
voted Lincoln, Gordon (random pick) and Gonzales (dead, so is Bakshi)
btw, is there any spoiler said that some recurring roles won't be return or is it a pure guess? I'm so excited and nervous about what will happen in finale, a bit scared too :(
One of the 5 teases for the finale by the showrunners is "casualties of war" so it's pretty certain not everyone will make it. (I'm scared too!) Technically, even someone from the main cast could die, but I assume the recurring cast is in bigger danger.
No, it wasn't the same, Skye was covered in brown, her clothes included, all of her. Gonzales was covered in grey, and his clothes weren't. Raina was covered in brown too, and all the people that died because of the diviner transformed into grey rock, Trip included. So that's why we know that Gonzales is dead, the little things make a big difference.
oh no, I like everyone on the show... no matter they're good or bad, after last episode I even started liking Gonzales. The final sounds so intense and probably will have so many plot twists, it'll be AWESOME!!!!
I imagine that with the death of Gonzales & now anybody backing him is now expendable & fake shield will now die & Coulsons SHIELD & his way will reign supreme once again
Maybe because its already a guarantee? Lol I voted for him Gonzales, Bakashi, and Weaver because her death wouldn't have as much of an impact on how the show progresses. Thus she's expendable.
I think you and I are on the same mindset on who's likely to die in the finale.
1) Kara: she's most definitely a plot device to keep Ward relevant as a character, the reason I think is that his big storyline - the Ward family conflict - is season 3 material, so they're treading water with him while they wait for that moment. Her death, I think, serves two purposes: first, it gives Ward a price to pay for all his violent actions this season, and let's face it he did quite a bit. Second, it leaves room for him to be codependant on someone who can actually be a positive influence on him. Kara's more or less Ward 2.0, his codependency on her and vice-versa fuels each others' darkest impulses; I don't quite believe the show intends to keep him in that self-destructive cycle, so she has to go.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Isn't Bakshi already dead?
ReplyDeleteBakshi and Gonzales are already dead...
ReplyDeleteBut I think Mack and Jiaying won't make it.
Let me guess, poll submitted three weeks earlier and only now added? :D
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Robert Gonzales isn't in the top spot cansidering what just happened in the last episode.
ReplyDeleteBakshi and Ganzales are already dead, but I think at least one of Skye's parents aren't gonna make it. Mack might die also, and I'm not really a fan of Lincoln, so I wouldn't be too sad if he dies too.

ReplyDeleteCal,Mack & Gordon would be my bet.
ReplyDeleteJiaying, Raina, Cal, and Lincoln
ReplyDeleteThis poll was obviously submitted before that happened.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I don't see Lincoln making it out alive.
ReplyDeleteWhy are people voting for Gonzales when he is already dead?
Since we know Mack has issues with Coulson and has quit, now it just depends on him surviving the attack on the Carrier. Weaver just cause they seem to be killing off his new "council" fairly quickly and Cal because one of her parents is going to die, and I still think it's him.

ReplyDeleteKara and Alisha (who are not on the poll), Cal, Mack, Gordon. I can see another member of the board dying too. Basically it's going to be a bloodbath.
ReplyDeleteSorry #1 for Bakshi and Gonzales being there, obviously this was submitted before their deaths.
ReplyDeleteSorry #2 for forgetting Kara.

Kara makes a lot of sense. I think you are right.
ReplyDeleteYep, axe works there. Is English not your first language? I can't tell.
The only word that sounded slightly off to me was 'orphan', because it refers to a child whose both parents have died. Since Skye is an adult and still has Cal, she isn't technically an orphan. But the sentence was completely clear, otherwise.
What I meant about "axe" being appropriate was the recent spoiler about Mack having an axe in the finale. That comment was made in jest.
ReplyDeleteBut anyway, I didn't know about the exact meaning of the term "orphan" so thanks for the tip. :)
Lol. Sorry! I hadn't gotten to the Spoiler article yet!
ReplyDeleteJiaying although I'm pissed off with the twist and I want dichen to be a part of the show I just know in my gut that jiaying will be killed to show how "good" (shield) won over "evil" pretty twisted if you ask me because the index itself is a horrifying idea, what if hydra gets their hands on the index all these inhumans who lived peacefully would suffer because of a war they weren't even a part of.

Mack and Jiyaing and maybe Lincoln (Gonzales an Bakshi should not be listed)

ReplyDeleteBut what if Gonzales actually SURVIVES? The same exact thing happened to Skye and SHE Survived it...so why not Gonzales?

ReplyDeleteand thank you for the information<3 Can't wait!!!
Gonzales and Bakshi are there because the poll was submitted before "The Dirty Half-Dozen" aired.
ReplyDeleteah okay, didn't know.
ReplyDeleteI don't want Jiaying to die! What a waste to bring her on the show for like four episodes only to kill such an interesting character off...ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that with the death of Gonzales & now anybody backing him is now expendable & fake shield will now die & Coulsons SHIELD & his way will reign supreme once again

We forgive you for forgetting Kara, we know you blank your mind of everything Ward related after each episodes ends! :)
ReplyDeleteSince the poll was clearly submitted before Gonzales and Bahksi kicked the bucked I'm gonna eliminate them by default and pick from the rest...
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna say probably Mack it done (which I'm kinda sad about. I liked him in the beginning but he got a bit tedious during 2B).
Dunno about the rest though... Maybe Gordon... maybe Raina...
