If Limitless survives till Feb, and by that I mean averaging high 1s, I can see it getting it. It's the only new drama CBS fully owns. I think it might also depend on how high Supergirl premieres. If it premieres bug, then it won't need more exposure, but if it not, then the might give it the post-Superbowl slot, but I think Limitless would make more sense.
My guess is Supergirl but I'm not counting out Limitless or Scorpion. These networks never do what I think they will. SN- I'm not really feeling Supergirl so I hope for Limitless.
Supergirl seems most likely, but I'm not counting out Limitless and Scorpion yet.
By the way, the last time CBS had Super Bowl they announced the lead-out program on November 5th, which was Elementary at that time. Supergirl will premiere in November. I wonder if CBS is going to wait to make the call till they see Supergirl's premiere ratings.
Supergirl, Limitless (if it doesn't flop), or maybe even TBBT cause it is falling and needs some help (even though it usually doesn't help, a lot of people have seen TBBT already they would just be reminded of the show, so they might watch live again or something).
Any other network would probably use Scorpion. Just like they should've used Person of Interest in 2013. But CBS will probably use it to pimp Supergirl unless the premiere totally bombs. And even then, they'll probably waste it on Supergirl.
Like most everyone so far, I think Supergirl will get the post Super Bowl slot, for all the good it will do (look at how much it helped The Blacklist).
Certainly Supergirl since they can ride the momentum by airing another episode one day after the Superbowl, but post-superbowl lately seems like a kiss of death rather than a booster. Shows have really only dropped after Superbowl. The only way a show can get a superbowl boost is if they premiere right after Superbowl, or is already climbing in ratings steadily prior to Superbowl, like grey's in season 2.
Since CBS is completely all-in on MS.... LOL Supergirl is the obvious favorite regardless of ownership because CBS really needs to get 'young.' Limitless if SG is a bomb. Scorpion is the third, but a reluctant choice (if the other two bomb) since CBS already gave it post-AFC slot this year. Rush Hour could be a dark horse.
Supergirl or Limitless. If Limitless, will be an episode with Bradley Cooper featured.Scorpion had the AFC championship post spot last season, so remais SuperGirl or Limitless more younger shows.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Supergirl. Maybe Limitless but I think Supergirl is most likely.
ReplyDeleteI could definitely see Supergirl getting the spot

ReplyDeleteSupergirl,who else?
ReplyDeleteTheir new shiny toy!
None. It won't be a series. It will be a reality like The Voice and Undercover Boss.
ReplyDeleteI'll go with Limitless. I think it would reach a broader audience compared to Supergirl that would only reach out to a particular age group.
ReplyDeleteThe don't even have any new reality series for midseason and they don't even have any room in their schedule for one, either.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it more likely to be a new midseason show, such as Rush Hour? Although CBS do like to push their own studio's shows.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl seems like the obvious choice.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl 100 %.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't think "Rush Hour" should be counted out yet. I'll even say: it's definitely an option in my opinion...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't mean they won't have one until then. Development for those shows are always very quick.
ReplyDeleteYes, but like I said, they don;t have any room on the schedule.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl seems the most likely.

Supergirl - for a large viewers and budget.
ReplyDeleteI think Supergirl will

I think Scorpion or Limitless are more likely than Super Girl because CBS doesn't own it.
ReplyDeleteLimitless. It fits in very well with the direction that CBS wants to go moving forward.
ReplyDeleteSupergirl, Limitless (if it doesn't flop), or maybe even TBBT cause it is falling and needs some help (even though it usually doesn't help, a lot of people have seen TBBT already they would just be reminded of the show, so they might watch live again or something).
ReplyDeleteSupergirl or a potential midseason show. Very likely Supergirl since it will appeal to a much broader audience.
ReplyDeleteSuper girl probably. But not like it helps bring more viewers in if its in that spot
ReplyDeleteCBS will do anything it can to get Supergirl high ratings. That means putting it after the Superbowl.
ReplyDeleteAny other network would probably use Scorpion. Just like they should've used Person of Interest in 2013. But CBS will probably use it to pimp Supergirl unless the premiere totally bombs. And even then, they'll probably waste it on Supergirl.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess and say Limitless, as it seems to be more broad for the audience that would be watching the SB, as opposed to Supergirl.

ReplyDeleteThey will by then, once news shows are cancelled and others has ended.

ReplyDeleteDepending on how well they start out, either Limitless of Supergirl.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise Scorpion will be it.
