Well, given last week, I'm going with "blow to the head kills her" but there's always the chance that her memories are all erased somehow and she goes off to be with Jeremy. But I like the theory about her and Tyler. Everyone would be so mad.
I think she'll sacrifice herself somehow to save damons life. Just not sure yet what that outcome will be. I used to think the end result would be her death, but too predictable at this point, a bit too easy for me. Julie plec said we wouid never figure it out!
Kai will cast a Sleeping Curse on Elena for 60 years along with a reverse linking spell with Bonnie so that if anyone tries to wake her up before time,Bonnie will die at that instant.

Honestly I haven't given it much thoughts because I stopped caring about anything Elena related in the later half of season 4. I guess she'll be in a coma or under a sleeping spell to keep the option of her coming back for the series finale open, but if ND doesn't want to come back (which I feel like that's the case) she will probably die.
Side note: "Elena marries Tyler and they run off together." that option is so funny lol
So i think they will STUPIDLY let her die from hitting her head. She'll be unconscious, and everyone will get to say their goodbyes to her in her head. I hope i'm wrong, but if this is the case, thats a pathetic way for her to go out
It will be a variation on the 'If you love someone that much, you set them free BS'. However Damon as stated many times is Selfish so its likely she will be dead dead
Wow, lots of (extremely) creative choices, but I have to go with "Other", she'll die of the injuries she sustained at Jo and Alarics ill-fated (naturally) wedding. Maybe.

I've heard it is going to be a flashforward, so I guess Elena won't die, because what's the point of a flashforward if not to show how Elena ended up? I don't know how yet, but the writers managed to give her a happy ending, possibly with Damon. Besides, in the promo Damon says something like "what am I gonna do 60 years without you?" So the "sleeping curse" would fit it perfectly. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Elena won't die.
The flashforward would be in the final moments off he episode and it would be Elena waking up 60 years in the future with Damon ( possibly Stefan, Caroline, and 80 year old Bonnie, Matt, Tyler, and Jeremy ) by her side.
