Terminator would have been so amazing in S3, so much potential.
Pushing Daisies, deserved a proper ending instead of the rush job. A truly lovely show.
Alphas really started to become something great. A cruel cliffhanger.
Dollhouse had to rush quite a bit towards the end. In some ways this made it a better series than the slow burn of early S1 but still would have loved more time in that world.
Enlightened: God I wanted to see the fall out from S2.
Revolution and V. Damn, miss both. In the end, I think NBC would have been better served keeping Revolution this year instead of the horrific class of new shows and the endless hours of Dateline and SVU (R) they've used to populate the schedule
CARNIVALE. Dollhouse, Dark Angel, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me Tru Calling, too, and I was pretty passionate about all of them at some point or another so hard to say. But definitely Carnivale.
When they basically made Alphas the focus of a TBBT episode i was basically in tears LOL. It was also kind of mean giving Sheldon closure when fans didn't get it, that Heroes joke was hilarious though.
Dollhouse had a dark finale though, i didn't enjoy the ending of it. The Rossum twist hurt like hell but it was great but the actual series finale was dark.
Dark Angel and Legend of the Seeker (I miss the last one the most, what a fun show). Terminator TSCC was great the first season, but went downhill during the second one, not even that cliffhanger could save it for me.
From this list, I guess I'd have to say the one that almost the entire universe hates: Whitney... Men in Trees was okay too. Outside of the list: The Neighbors. Those are the ones that I can remember.
OMG Legend of the Seeker, I love that show soo much, it´s among me favourites of all time, sad it only lasted 2 seasons, but at least it had 2 awesome seasons
I miss pretty much all of these. Most of these shows had so much potential, I voted for Stargate Universe which I loved so much. True, it was quite different from the other two Stargates but it could have been great and at least it was science fiction which is pretty rare on television. I also loved Dark Angel and Revolution for basically the same reason: they took place in a dystopian future. Creatively I find it much more interesting when a show is set in somewhat different world than ours and it allows me to really escape from the routine of daily life. It's a shame these shows didn't have the means to support their ambitions.
Life had an awesome cast, when it ended I was certain Damian Lewis was going to find something else very quickly. It's a shame we didn't really get to know who framed him.
Dirty Sexy Money was really funny at first but then the tone got kind of muddled, you didn't really know if it was a comedy or a drama. It had a great cast though, I miss Seth Gabel and Samaire Armstrong, they made awesome twins.
I voted for "Alphas" & "Dark Angel". I also liked "Dont Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23". Those are the tv series /that I remember right now) that only got two seasons, but I wish they had more.
I enjoyed a lot from the list actually... there are some that I would have liked to have gone on but got decent send offs (like Dollhouse, Ground Floor and LUx) so I'm not going to include those in my choices...
So I'm gonna vote for: - T:TSCC - Dark Angel - V and - Better off Ted
Revolution for me! Nothing will ever come close to the awesomeness of the Sebastian "Bass" Monroe character for me, the guy was a total badass, and hella sexy!!!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteOh forgot about Terminator. Pretty indifferent about the films but the show was so well done.
ReplyDeleteI despise Dateline so much, and I can't get to the remote fast enough to get it off the screen at the end of Grimm.
ReplyDeleteWhen they basically made Alphas the focus of a TBBT episode i was basically in tears LOL. It was also kind of mean giving Sheldon closure when fans didn't get it, that Heroes joke was hilarious though.
ReplyDeletei never understood why they put Legend of The Seeker on Saturdays
ReplyDeleteDollhouse had a dark finale though, i didn't enjoy the ending of it. The Rossum twist hurt like hell but it was great but the actual series finale was dark.

ReplyDeletePushing Daisies now and forever!
ReplyDeleteAlso props to Terminator, Dollhouse, Revolution (which improved a lot on its second season) and V
Pushing Daisies without a doubt.
ReplyDeleteHow is Sports Night missing from this list??? A travesty, I tell you! I'm just sayin'...
ReplyDeleteDark Angel, Revolution, Dollhouse, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and Jericho. If I could pick a sixth, it would be Pushing Daisies.

I miss it so much, not even David Lyons in a new show is enough to make it better.
ReplyDeleteI miss Revolution too.
ReplyDeleteLife had an awesome cast, when it ended I was certain Damian Lewis was going to find something else very quickly. It's a shame we didn't really get to know who framed him.
ReplyDeleteI still watch the title sequence from time to time on YouTube because it is so awesome.
ReplyDeleteI was stunned when HBO cancelled Looking, I had no idea the ratings were that bad, It was an awesome show.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Dateline ?
ReplyDeleteDirty Sexy Money was really funny at first but then the tone got kind of muddled, you didn't really know if it was a comedy or a drama. It had a great cast though, I miss Seth Gabel and Samaire Armstrong, they made awesome twins.
ReplyDeleteYes, Revolution got so much better in its second season, I still can't believe they cancelled it.
ReplyDeleteDark Angel for sure, and Alphas.
ReplyDeleteThe legend of the Seeker and Revolution.
ReplyDeletedead like me. :,)

ReplyDeleteDark Angel was my first TV obsession. I have liked shows since then, but nothing has come along to replace it to me.
ReplyDeleteI voted for "Alphas" & "Dark Angel". I also liked "Dont Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23". Those are the tv series /that I remember right now) that only got two seasons, but I wish they had more.
ReplyDeleteLegend of the Seeker, without any hesitation.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree :) Still it won´t be my favorite badass Sebastian Monroe
ReplyDeleteLegend of the Seeker. I'll take it anytime over any show on the list, also over Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, Merlin etc.
ReplyDeleteP.S.: For the uninitiated, here's a small preview, one of my fav fanvids: https://youtu.be/ZCJU66kZDBg
