No. I reminded me of Desperate Housewives ending. They just wanted to show us that there always will be mystery there and that it does not end with just one story
Other: Nolan should join other ABC shows for the fun! Nolan Ross would have a lot to say about the characters and drama of OUAT or maybe he moves to suburbia and joins one of the many ABC family comedies. Nolan Ross Agent of SHIELD. Nolan Ross scheming with Olivia Pope. Endless possibilities.
No, and certainly not with the writers from Revenge. They should have given him much more to do, and really resolved Nolan/David Clarke. Nolan was worth much more than to prop up Emily/Jack/Aiden. They missed their chance by under using him for four years and resolve his sl by having somebody else come in who he needs to help? Nolan never wanted revenge, he wanted family. Hope the actor goes on to much better things with writers that give him good material.
Weirdly enough Revenge's ending is almost exactly the same as Desperate Housewives' ending, with the cliffhanger serving as an intended twist rather than an actual one that requires resolving. The writers must have already had a strong feeling to end Season 4 in a "series finale" way despite not getting informed by ABC. It would actually be weird if Revenge turns out to be renewed and continue on after the Season 4 finale.
Speaking in business terms, no, since there is no guarantee it could work out. But creatively, absolutely; I would have liked anything more. I'd like to have Nolan mentoring young revengers, one different each season
Definitely not. Anyway, the showrunner said that they planned the same finale even though it wasn't a series finale. How would have season five continued?
I really don't think the showrunner really planned on the show continuing, he must have (just like most people) a strong gut feeling that this is the last season to plan a season finale that worked exactly as a series finale. Season Five would have been a disaster with a new case, and inevitably getting Emily Thorne somehow involved in some "traumatic memory" of Victoria haunting her, and her relationship with Jack not really working out, you know, soap opera thingy, maybe her mother comes back.
Aciel, Sunil clearly said that the heart would have come into play S5, that some woman would come claiming Emily has her son's heart and something terrible happened to the son. Emily would start to leave her life with Jack behind and get involved with revenging this son.
Honestly the writers owe Nolan big time, but I wouldn't trust them to write him. Nolan did more for David and Amanda Clarke for years than anyone on the show - and got nothing. He lost so much for both of them and was the only one to believe DC - and they never did anything after DC slapped him and destroyed Nolan's reputation. He lost Nolcorp - but no, let's just feel sorry for Jack? Awful. He propped up Jack/Aiden and helped them. He was so underused and in the end got absolutely nothing. To go on revenging when Amanda says it's wrong and to forgive - alone, when all he wanted was family? Terrible resolution. The writers did nothing for Nolan but were too scared to kill him off - which was really unfair to the actor.
No. They had the chance and completely blew it. It was a horrible conclusion for Nolan who had done so much, much more than Jack. What goes around certainly didn't come around for Nolan - who more than anyone deserved to be appreciated by all of then, David and especially Amanda but also Jack,
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ofcourse!
ReplyDeleteWhat i want is Aiden to be alive and marry Emily like he was supposed to

ReplyDeleteNO!
ReplyDeleteHe is the only character I care in Revenge that stayed alive, so I voted yes!
ReplyDeleteHELL YES!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Emily and Jack can make some cameo appearances.
MOST DEFINITELY! Please revenge producers see this poll and make it happen!

ReplyDeleteNo...enough of revenging, it was a great series and it came to an end.

ReplyDeleteI would say, maybe, but as a bridge or summer show, limited with about 8 episodes.

Oh I love this idea! Nolan Ross on How to Get Away with Murder would be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI don't think so I believe the bitter sweet ending was showing us Nolan can always be the person to help get revenge
ReplyDeleteI do Not think so. What would be the point?
ReplyDeleteHe would be able to offer a lot of advice!
ReplyDeleteI would love a Nolan spinoff but I'm still going with a maybe due to the high chance that it wouldn't work out.
ReplyDeleteIf it continued on to a season 5 the showrunner said that it would be a whole new revenge.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutly YES!

ReplyDeleteIt would be cool but we can live without.
ReplyDeleteAnd it will never happen... ABC cancelled the show.
I know that but he also said that it will basically be Nolans show. Emily would just be like a recurring character.
ReplyDeleteNo.It's time to put it to rest.
ReplyDeleteI love Nolan. But for me, his pairing with Emily in season 1 will never be bested so it's a no from me.

I agree Nolan deserved better which is why part of me doesn't think that giving him his own show isn't a bad idea.
