Ok I'm not spoiled so this might be already known and, I'm not the clever. However, think I know how it end.
Damon decided he wanted to be with Elena and grow old together. So something changes his mind next week since we know he's not leaving. I think Elena is gravely wounded loses a lot of blood so Damon can't take the cure. Maybe the Doctors operate and she gets a blood transfusion or something?
That kinda answered what happens to her. It's been a few seasons since I watched it but I guess in honor of Elena/Ninas departure I will check in next week.
They're not gonna kill her. That would be soooo cheap. Omg i can hear the fans yelling from around the world. Yeah okay...next week. Here we go. I'm not gonna get upset. I'm not gonna panic. I'm going to breathe now and worry about it after it airs. No spoilers for me til this moment on. Nope.
Yea, it's probably just a way to deny Damon a human life without break-up the pair. Elena survives but Damon can't become human so she'll leave alone. Or she dies lol.
Ok you need to stop doing that. The comparison thing with Angel. It's getting old. First of all Angel was human FOR A DAY! And you see how well that DIDN'T turn out! Angel realized he could NOT be human, he had to quickly give it up, and later he signed over his contract so he would not be rewarded with humanism. (although that was for a different reason with Wolfram&Hart). It was the same with Mick! He could NOT stay human. He lasted what? two episodes?? It was a NIGHTMARE! It was all good and fun for the few days he was, but it wasn't gonna last.
For Damon he does this there is NO going back. If you seriously can't understand why majority of the fanbase have a problem with this then i suggest you have a VD marathon from season 1 all the way til now during the summer and figure it out. It's not hard to understand why a lot of fans don't like it. And how much of a terrible idea it would be. If it happened for a one episode, maybe two or three. That would be ok, that you could allow to pass. Definitely not any longer then that, and definitely not for an entire season.
yeah i guess, this is actually different, the so-called "cure" is permanent (by the way i don't like calling it a cure because vampirism isn't a disease) and the comparisons to the Buffyverse are always there, with stefan and Angel/Angelus or ELIJAH and Angel/Angelus. I honestly took a shot in the dark with mentioning Moonlight, i didn't think Vampire Diaries watchers watched it LOL
Umm. I love vampires, and Moonlight came out after Angel ended and before TVD started. And please keep the comparisons away from me, i really can't stand it.
True, but Damon as a human not a great idea. The sole reason he wants to be is to be with Elena. Not redemption or anything else, or even to screw someone else over. Plus what with the vast lore differences comparing the two different vampire mythologies doesn't really work well.
back in season 1 when i saw the vampires in daylight, i thought they did what Angel the show did when Spike first went there to kill Angel and then they wore those rings that made them basically indestructible, and i was mad at it until i figured out that in TVD the rings ONLY allow them to be in the sun
You mean thought? Lol Yeah me neither. I just remember things vividly when it comes to my shows. And when it was cancelled I was really upset b/c the last episode was real good.
You should. Twas great. And the only couple I've ever actually really shipped was on it. Sort of. It's first season was cut by 9 episodes. And it went off for nearly a year, so it lost it's fairly decent audience of 9 million (pretty good by NBC standards) and because of it being kinda niche-y and marketing problems, and piss poor scheduling (it went up against HiMYM and House, and Dancing with the Stars for four years) it never could get a good viewership. On the plus side it was loved by many critics (Alan Sepinwall even wrote a letter urging NBC to save it), and had an extremely devoted fan base that saved it from death three times and it serves as one of the very few truly successful fan campaigns.
I watched a couple episodes I believe way back when and didn't get into it. But I was a huge fan of House back then, so I guess you could say I was against Chuck And gave House better ratings. And saving a show from death three times doesn't sound good at all. It's quite the opposite. As much as iI love Zachary Levi, I wouldn't try it again. (Especially knowing that I'd have to watch BR again. I really don't care for him)
It was good. Mainly because the show despite all logic was really good throughout. In part because of Levi's stellar performance, it's disturbing ability to make you care about the characters, Yvonne Strahovski, the great acting from its cast and the fact that it was a cool mix up of drama comedy scifi and action. And the guest stars like Timothy Dalton and Linda Hamilton.
I agree - lame is an understatement! These "sleeping curse" rumors are wishful thinking and I hate that Bonnie's death is tied up with them. No way will I accept losing Bonnie, not now when it's finally "her time". Besides, this is "The Vampire Diaries" not "Sleeping Beauty". SB is a fairy tale and TVD is fantasy. Not the same thing. When Elena dies, and I've said this until I'm blue in the face, she needs to RIP. No hanging over Season 7. Closure. End. Finito. Anything else would be cruel to the fans who don't want to give Elena up without some possibility of her returning because IMO that will never happen, TVD needs to move forward and I don't think it can successfully do that if Elena's ghost is an invisible character next season.
If you hate Routh and are up to watching it watch 1-2 and maybe the back of 3 (or just skip all the Routh scenes), and 4 (the season with Dalton and Hamilton)and 5. Because to get the most out of Chuck you have to care about the main characters.
I think to get into any show/series you have to care about the main characters. That's just a given. if I start watching season 1,I will definitely let you know.
The character to leave the show is all the alcohol's on the show lol They have decided 6 yrs of drinking and breaking bottles is enough for them...VD fans prepare to say goodbye to alcohol lol.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Ok I'm not spoiled so this might be already known and, I'm not the clever. However, think I know how it end.

Too much sap in that promo and not enough danger.
ReplyDeleteThat kinda answered what happens to her. It's been a few seasons since I watched it but I guess in honor of Elena/Ninas departure I will check in next week.

ReplyDeleteThey don't want to give away too much.
ReplyDeleteOr anything at all, apparently.
ReplyDeleteYea, it's probably just a way to deny Damon a human life without break-up the pair. Elena survives but Damon can't become human so she'll leave alone. Or she dies lol.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a crazy and depressing finale!
ReplyDeleteThe extended promo needs to be 2 minutes.
ReplyDeleteDAMN I am so gonna cry starting this sunday with Revenge
what makes you so sure? and Damon becoming human would be a GREAT storyline, i don't get why people have such a problem with it
ReplyDeleteOk you need to stop doing that. The comparison thing with Angel. It's getting old. First of all Angel was human FOR A DAY! And you see how well that DIDN'T turn out! If the extended promo were two minutes that would be awesome. LOL I'm waiting for the extended promo myself. Half hour to go.

ReplyDeleteDamon's not Angel. The only vampire on this show you can even compare to Angel is Stefan.
ReplyDeleteWell it is a finale. And the last Dobrev episode, gotta milk it.
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking crying! Ohhh ..........! Can't believe it hit me so hard!
ReplyDeleteWow! This will be a heart break!
no i didn't compare Damon to Angel, if anything he's like Spike
ReplyDeleteIt had potential. I liked it. Unfortunately the writer's strike screwed it up and got it cancelled.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but Damon as a human not a great idea. The sole reason he wants to be is to be with Elena. Not redemption or anything else, or even to screw someone else over. Plus what with the vast lore differences comparing the two different vampire mythologies doesn't really work well.
ReplyDeleteSo many shows were lost. And only TBBt and Chuck made it past two or three seasons. And now sadly only TBBT remains.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah it was during the Strike, wow i haven't about that in years
ReplyDeleteback in season 1 when i saw the vampires in daylight, i thought they did what Angel the show did when Spike first went there to kill Angel and then they wore those rings that made them basically indestructible, and i was mad at it until i figured out that in TVD the rings ONLY allow them to be in the sun

ReplyDeleteI never watched Chuck. Was it victim to the strike as well in 07?

ReplyDeleteI'm just in tears right now over this promo. What is going on, I'm a hot mess :(

ReplyDeleteso I guess the rumors are right? Kai puts a sleeping curse on Elena until Bonnie dies
ReplyDeleteit's pretty lame I really hope not.

ReplyDeleteYep,Elena is dying for sure. There is no way in hell she's making it out safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteI agree - lame is an understatement! These "sleeping curse" rumors are wishful thinking and I hate that Bonnie's death is tied up with them.
