    Lets hope he IS human. I think it would be an awesome dynamic in the final season that Damon is trying to survive in Mystic falls as a .. Matt Donovan while a lot of types are trying to get payback on him.

    Nothing, he is showing her what could've been. He is giving her that peace of knwoing that he chosoe her and that he will become human for her. Giving her pieces of their lives together as humas and (i hope this happen this way) letting her go while she is an old woman and waiting for death in his lover's arms.

    Well that wasn't a real promo. All the flashes they show in the promo are all old EXCEPT the one with her and Tyler, and possibly the one with her and Bonnie. But I'm not sure about that one. I never paid attention to Bonnie that closely, so I can't place the scene. I'm not sure if it's new or old just based off what Bonnie's wearing.

    There's a theory that Kai ties Bonnie and Elena's lives together. Elena will stay unconscious (asleep) as long as Bonnie is alive. If Bonnie dies then Elena will wake up from her sleep.


    What I don't understand is why no one doesn't just turn Bonnie into a vampire? That would be a death and allow Elena to awake, but it wouldn't have to stick. Bonnie could drink the cure from Elena, which would turn her back into a witch.

    LOL. Yeah I think something else is going on here. Promos are always misleading. I really don't think they're killing Elena. They already did the "Elena bangs her head and collapses in the penultimate episode only to allow her to die in the season finale" thing. I don't see them doing that again on her last episode of the season. (possibly series). W/e it is, it has to do with Kai. This is like some weird supernatural coma or something.

    The cure didn't kill Katherine. Katherine was just fine. She wandered around for months being a miserable, normal human being. Katherine started to age and die only after Silas drained her of all her blood (which contained the cure) so he could become mortal again.

    To be honest, Vampire Diaries does NOT want to get into baby character land. It dosnt. THe show cant handle storylines like that, so those kids were never going to get born. As for Kai, hes gonna be dead in next episode Im betting.

    So it looks like all of us who thought the "Sleeping Beauty Curse" seemed too silly were very, very wrong. lol. I'm guessing Damon says 60 years because Bonnie would be close to 80 then, and sure to be near death. I wonder if the flashforward will be Elena waking up and Damon with her (60 years from now). One if that is true, that's super annoying because once again Bonnie gets reduced to only being relevant in relation to Elena. We also know it will fuel some Delena fans who tend to hate on Bonnie/Kat anyway. Ugh. I really hate this idea, if it turns out to be what we think. The fact that Kai looked kind of sick makes me wonder if he's going to die either way, whether he's killed by Bonnie or just dies off.

    my problem is that I know how horrible he is but I just find him so amazing! hah :D (I have to admit as well I do like Bonkai but I know it's so unrealistic and just plain stupid). I am ashamed haha but I find everyone so boring. They should have swapped the characters around. It just feels like a Damon/Elena - Jo/Alaric - Stefan/Caroline - Bonnie storylines with a few other characters now and then showing up. They have so much information on these characters and the universe they live in ugh I just would have loved for them to do much more with what the already build up. Sorry I am just frustrated with TVD hah :D and not hate that I like Kai haha I don't get it myself :)

    So I guess those rumors about a sleep spell which only can be broken if Bonnie dies are true after all.. I was so sure they were just rumors ... who would have thought.
    Remember when Damon said "If it comes down to you and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die" to Elena.. Well, now it's down to Elena and Bonnie and Damon likes Bonnie too much to kill Bonnie (FYI.. I'm NOT a Bamon shipper). I would say "funny how things change" if it wasn't so damn sad!!!

    Except TVD has seen fit to ignore the past and wants us believe that Damon only needs to "take a drink" from Elena and they'll both be cured.

    The way it was originally laid out, someone needs to completely drain the person containing the cure to become mortal themselves because they need all the cure to make it work. It was supposed to be a one-to-one ratio. One dose cures one person. Apparently that's not true anymore. I really hate revisionist history.

    The sleeping beauty curse rumor. Apparently, Kai links Bonnie and Elena. Elena goes into a coma like sleep. The only way to wake Elena up from it is to kill Bonnie, or for Bonnie to die. Damon must choose to kill Bonnie or not. He'll choose to not kill Bonnie. So he has to wait until she dies of natural causes. In 60 years Bonnie will be close to 80 (I think she's still supposed to be 19). People survive pass 80 but not many. So he's assuming that's when Bonnie will die and Elena will wake up. So then they can finally be together.

    Can someone please explain to me what ever happened to the cure aging theory??? Becuase if we recal katherine starting aging super fast!! Why THE F wouldnt that happen to Damon too if he took the cure??? Like did the writers address that? in this episode stefan was like showing him "his human life" but why didnt he just be like dude u will die of old age in a month if you take the cure? Why doesnt that still hold true I'M SO CONFUSED BY THAT!!!!!!!!

    Katherine only started aging faster than usual after Silas sucked the cure out of her. She said so herself (To Quetsia "I had the cure you created running thru my vains and when silas sucked it out of me I started aging") so apparently as long as someone who took the cure has the cure in his vains that person ages normally but as soon as someone sucks it out of them time catches up with them. Since Elena only turned like 2 years ago it wouldn't be a problem for her to get the cure sucked out of her. And Damon would age normally too as long as nobody sucks the cure out of him

    How about this for Elena's 'ending':

    Kai used a spell on the knife to magically put Elena to sleep/a coma ( she won't age though ) as well as bonds Elena's life to Bonnie's ( she is the object of his obsession ) so as we heard Damon say she will wake around 60 years from now after Bonnie has died around 80 years old.

    After all of her friends visit her in her mind to say good-bye I hope Damon plants a story of her future life of being a doctor/surgeon, a mother, having a husband, friends etc in her mind so she can live out her dream life ever day she is in the coma.

    Even though Damon has her forget them all after planting this new dream life in her memory her subconscious take control to a degree and creates new 'roles' for Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Tyler, Jeremy, and Alaric so they will be apart of her 'dream' hospital world always.

    ( doctors, nurses etc )

    The episode will end with a flash forward to Elena having woken up 60 years in the future and her and Damon pick up right where they left off.

    I think Bamon is still possible. They could easily end up together within the series but she let's him go once she dies to be with Elena. It's a crappy thing to do to Bamon's possibility but I can see the writers justifying having Bamon with a Delena endgame. Honestly, I'm starting to think J.P won't let Bamon happen. She'll have Bonnie end up with Matt. And keep Damon single throughout therest of the series, which is probably the end of season 7.

    Yeah that's true, I just dont understand the writers especislly jp when writing for Bonnie... You would think they hate her. She has literally had everything taken from her over and over again and had her only "love" who is elenas little brother cheat on her with a GHOST like really? She out of everyone deserves happines and for someone to put her first and a version of Damon that has moved on from elena could give her that.

    Exactly! I kinda feel Kai being the one responsible for elenas "death" is JPs way of ensuring no bonkai and wanting to keep dragging Bonnie down and that's coming from a bamon fan. I just wanna see the character happy and even tho Kai is crazy as hell so is every other character.

    I'm going to apologize in advance to the spoilerTV admin and comment readers, because this is about to be a long response xD. 1st. off I ship Bonkai and Bamon. I've shipped Bamon since season 1 or 2. The two seasons kind of blend together since it's been so long. I never shipped Kennett and didn't really get how that shipping even developed. Beremy was okay to me but I always like Jeremy and Anna more, and something was always off (to me) about Kat and Steven's romantic chemistry. But this year I grew fond of the Bonkai possibility. Did I ever think it would happen? No. Did I think I deserved it to happen? No. Did I think JP would make it happen? No. And I respected her for that because I was never a fan of Klaroline and only liked Delena a bit in the beginning. I thought both of those ships were okay in the beginning but then JP took both of them to really dark corners and I no longer liked the possibility of them. Bonkai was just a fun ship to ship because, well it was just a fun dynamic (Chris and Kat's chemistry was amazing). I never thought Kai would get the girl, unless both Bonnie and Kai went dark, which could have been a cool storyline! But I digress...His redemption arc that started left the possibility of Bonnie and Kai, but then JP completely killed that. I guess because of Cordon. Now did I think full sociopath Kai was insane and horrible and didn't deserve love? Heck yes but did I think he was more horrible than Klaus or Damon? Heck no. But apparently JP does. She did so much that she completely went on an unnecessary anti-Bonkai campaign. Which to me, made no sense, considering how unhealthy like 90 percent of the relationships on the show are, were and will be. She could have just let the fans hope but she continues(still now) to make them seem crazy for wanting Bonkai. I do think a lot of extreme Bonkai fans are taking it too far but most liked it and weren't harassing her or anything about it, but she really wanted to shut any Bonkai talk down on Twitter. I just didn't understand it/still don't. A lot of people believe it's because JP has a problem with Bonnie as a character. I don't know and I don't know JP so I can't speculate why she does what she does, but I personally found it weird. And it actually made me sympathize with the Bonkai fans, even though I thought many of them completely ignored the reality of the situation. But it's not my place to tell people what to like or how to like it, and I didn't feel it was JP's place either. She can personally not like it but it seemed like she was also trying to tell other people not to like it, and make them seem insane for liking it. Yet she called Delena "epic love" and Damon killed Jeremy, Lexi, killed a pregnant women, etc. And I can't even get to the list of Klaus, I'd be here all day. lol.

    I don't think JP owes anyone anything. It's her show, she can do what she wants. And she does unnecessarily get harassed a lot. But that's not just by Bonkai fans, that's all aspects of the fandom. I just wish she stayed more neutral to the whole thing, instead of fueling fire. It was like she was a parent who told her kids which ones she hated, and then expected them to not rebel and be okay with what she said. It was baffling to me.

    You literally wrote everything I've been thinking. I also don't know JP personally but really don't understand her when it comes to Bonnie and this way she'll always have the 'he killed her best friend reason' but as u said Damon killed Jeremy tried to kill Bonnie, slept with her bialogical mother basically raped Caroline and so much more but no bonkai can't happen, I also think she's afraid that their dynamic Kat&Chris will take over the show and God forbide someone tromps the epic delena love. Some bonkai fans take it way to far but I really don't think anyone fandom can be crazier that the delena fandom. I haven't really been that into this show shipping wise until now season 6 didn't even watch s5 cuz of all the delena stuff. I think the same reason for not wanting bonkai to happen she doesn't want bamon romantically because let's face it even though I actually like Nina dobrev Kat graham is a better actress at least in TVD and her and Ian's chemistry is of the roof so if they happens it would be much more layered then delena and that's something JPs afraid of I think cuz any other writer would automatically see the potential of bamon saving the shows ratings. Well this was long lol.

    I don't know about better. I think Nina and Kat both have their strengths and weaknesses but I do think Kat has had a better year on TVD than Nina. So we've really seen Kat shine in terms of her acting and on-screen chemistry. But I agree with basically everything else. Except I'm not sure Bamon would save the ratings. It all depends on how the writers wrote their relationship and dynamic. There are some couples that seem good in the beginning and on paper (Steroline) but somehow don't quite work (at least for me). But Bamon was really refreshing this year so it's a really big possibility they could help the show writing and ratings wise.

    also, didn't the Greek version of Elena (Silas true love, forget her name) drink from Silas and make her human without killing him? So there is precedent, I think it only killed/aged Katherine because he did drink all from her which was like drinking the original dose in the magic tube.

    Agree, steroline for me romantically do not work, they were better of as friends but I could also think that cuz I really loved Stefan with Elena. Yeah If they wrote bamon romantically in a proper and realistic way they could be amazing but I just don't see JP allowing that.

    Using a situation that wasn't supposed to occur in the first place as precedent is like robbing a bank at gunpoint because you saw on the news that someone else did it the week before. It's against the rules and your not supposed to do it but since someone did it already I suppose it's okay? That's not precedent. It's an excuse. I've never had the inclination to use this idiom before but "two wrongs don't make a right."
