    Steven Williams (The X-Files) has joined the upcoming second season of HBO drama series The Leftovers in a recurring role opposite Justin Theroux. Created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, Leftovers was based on Perrotta’s book about the aftermath of a Rapture-type event that causes the sudden disappearance of 2% of the world’s population. Williams will play Virgil, an outcast who proves to be an unlikely confidant to Kevin Garvey (Theroux).

    In “It Takes A Village Idiot,”Bonnie, Danny, Riley and Tucker are tired of Ben always passing Emma off on them every time something better comes along, so when Ben insists he can do it all by himself without their help, they go on strike. Without his support system, a frazzled Ben brings Emma along on his dates and his shift at the bar. Forced to rely on the very limited kindness of strangers, will Ben finally swallow his pride and admit how much he needs everyone? Bonnie and Danny take a cooking class with her idol, Tommy Kwan (Brian Tee), but when Danny wins the chance to be Tommy’s guest sous chef, Bonnie is determined to prove she’s the better cook. Meanwhile, Tucker advises Riley to make up a fake boyfriend in order to fix her friendship with Danny.

    “Baby Daddy” stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry, with Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane. The series is created and executive produced by Dan Berendsen (“The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” and “Hannah Montana: The Movie”). “Baby Daddy” is a multi-camera comedy that shoots in front of a live studio audience in Los Angeles.

The series stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark, Kyle Harris (“Carrie Diaries”) as Cameron Goodkin, Ritesh Rajan (upcoming “Jungle Book” feature) as Linus Ahluwalia, Salli Richardson-Whitfield (“Eureka,” “I Am Legend”) as Maggie Baptiste, and Allison Scagliotti (“Warehouse 13”) as Camille Engelson.

    "While holders of the trademarks referenced in the film title and its promotion, Rockstar Games has had no involvement with this project. Our goal is to ensure that our trademarks are not misused in the BBC's pursuit of an unofficial depiction of purported events related to Rockstar Games. We have attempted multiple times to resolve this matter with the BBC without any meaningful resolution. It is our obligation to protect our intellectual property and unfortunately in this case litigation was necessary."

    Screenwriters from “Iron Man,” “Amazing Spider-Man” board franchise expansion headed by Akiva Goldsman.

    Akiva Goldsman is stocking Paramount’s planned “Transformers”universe with top writing talent, TheWrap has learned, after the studio tasked the Oscar winner with fleshing out a franchise blueprint akin to Marvel Studios’ and Fox’s planned “Avatar” sequels.

    Robert Kirkman, creator of “The Walking Dead” comic book series, “Iron Man” screenwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, Jeff Pinkner of ‘”The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and Zak Penn, who wrote the script for 2017’s “Pacific Rim 2,” are close to deals, according to an individual close to the talks. The gig will see the respective writers dreaming up new adventures for Optimus Prime & Co.

    Goldsman will develop the sequels and spinoffs with Michael Bay, who directed all four films in the franchise, as well as with producer Lorenzo di Bonventura and executive producer Steven Spielberg.

  4. Don't watch The Leftovers which is weird because it has a great cast -and Steven Williams now just adds to that. Normally that alone would be a draw for me.

    That is the Baby Daddy episode I've been waiting for. Ben coming to grips with how much he's coasting on everyone helping him! (God just keep Ben in Emma related storylines... It's where he shines)

    Can't wait for The Brink! It looks like so much fun... even the posters are showcasing that in the best possible way!
