    That arm coming from Devina isn't a males. Devina puts Becks back into new-becks? Or maybe this is the "mystery woman" rumored to be cast (even newer rebecka?).

    Though I think it would be awesome if it Devina was trying to bring back Kol and Esther somehow hijacked it from Freya's necklace. Haven't seen that for awhile so it will be important for a twist. They just don't want to draw attention to it.

    She's a New Orleans witch. Meaning she's with the ancestors. Lore wise it would make sense.

    Her status is up in the air right now. She could be with the Ancestors, she could be dead or she could possible be in Freya's necklace like Finn (She was holding the necklace tightly and had weird hand movements when killing her).

    Since it is stated from the get-go that should she die she just body-jumps. My belief is that she is probably with the ancestors. It would make sense, using them as a conduit to body jump to another NO witch.

    Even if she is dead, they can bring her back (though someone would probably die for it). In tvd we saw Jeremy brought back from the dead when he was human, meaning it could be possible to bring him back without the Other Side.

    Seems like none of it would relate to vampires, and I still put Jeremy in the human category, and Bonnie had to use extraordinary means and nearly die learning that branch of magic. So I'm not sure most witches in New Orleans would go through that kind of trouble. No other witches with alternative comparable powers would die for her. So it would definately end up conviluted.

    But I don't see a point to Esther returning in any shape or form anyway.

    I'm referring to when Bonnie brought him back in season 2, with the powers of the 100 dead witches. He wasn't on the Other Side but she resurrected him anyway, so they pulled his spirit from *Somewhere else.*

    Channeling the power of dead witches is pretty common in New Orleans given ancestral magic is basically the same thing. And Devina just got the power of the ancestors tonight, so it is possible she could do it. And the ancestors were interacting with Esther while she led them.

    Esther will always be the "arch-enemy" of the Originals, kind of like Green Arrow v. Dark Archer, Flash v. Reverse flash, etc. She is their creator, someone that knows them, their weaknesses, their strengths. Klaus couldn't be more right when he calls her the author of everything he is. She has manipulated things for a long time, and plays the long game. Hell, most of season 1 revolved around her spellbook and later her spirit. Season 2 is all about her and her actions causing Dahlia to come. She is the ultimate antagonist of the show in this respect, she connects everything.

    It might be a season or two, but she will be back in some manner. Villains like that never truly die for good, their influence is always felt.

    I was including Davina in the category of not caring enough about Esther to not bother bringing her back, when she already has enough power and/or mentors around.

    I already hate the family big bad trope this show has developed anyway, with maybe no end in sight, it's as bad as the wolves. Seems like Eligah is up next, but it should be more interesting. I don't quite see the similarities in comparison you chose, and I get your point, but the comparisons don't seem quite right. But Esther is is not that Epic or fitting in those categories.

    Will agree to disagree though, Id rather the show not reuse any previous villains anyway. It gets boring and they've already used the same archetype for villains all year. While a couple seasons would be a breather, I'm hoping they are done with first generation Mikaelson's.

    Man it feels SO GOOD to see Claire. That's a breath of fresh air. I feel like all the crap I had to endure for the last two-three months, gave me her as a reward for getting through it. Lol I really mean it. But it still raises the question...who is going to die? I feel they will be three deaths. I feel 3 is the magic number here. I really do. And at least two will stick.

    At first i thought it Klaus hugging Haley, now it looks like it's Haley and Elijah. She is wearing his coat. Could it be a full moon? And Klaus and Haley sitting by each other near the fire sticks ready for a bonfire. And Klaus and Haley look on friendly terms. I am also glad to see him holding Hope and rocking her.I think the character needed to do that more. When he saw Hope in the car and he told her "Daddy is here" I thought that was so cute.

    Seeing the 3 of them standing together is a real delight. I really hope the finale will be better than last night.
    3 is a good number I'll say Gia, Jackson and Dahlia.
    Got a feeling when the dust settles Freya will betray her family and take Hope to kill her sleeping curse.

    Well it's the finale, so chances are it probably will be. Idk about you but for me, the penultimate episode is always less than the finale. I have hope. = )

    When I said "3" I meant all three of them would be NEW fresh dead bodies. So Gia doesn't count.

    jesus. saw the episode? the weapon was a piece of *** against Dahlia... they need someone who Dahlia loved.. it wasn't Freya. it must be Esther.. they need to resurrect her. Klaus has her body (2x06, in a coffin)... Kol.. hm, unnecessary.

    The finale always has to be better but last year the pneultimate ep was so game changing with the witches turning on Klaus and bonding him to the moonlight rings.

    I don't know which should be the 3rd significant body? No clue?

    This looks really interesting. They all need to work together. Elijah is not going to forgive Klaus that easily not that I blame him. Being a Elijah and Haley fan I am so happy to see a Elijah and haley scene and he is giving her his jacket hopefully this is a happy scene. And let my Elijah be Ok

    In the tomb, the hand is female. Also Daniel Sharman isn't returning so it literally cannot be Kaleb.

    Though Kol will definitely be resurrected, that isn't the scene in the preview. Kol's original actor is confirmed to appear at least in some form during the episode.

    It is most likely Rebekah back in her witch-body, since they teased that actress "rising up" in an interview. They probably heal it somehow and put her back because she wants a child/family.

    Hahaha nahh. It just didn't pop up in my inbox. I had to come back to the page and see it. But i get more than 50 comments a day, can you blame me? = )

    Actually i disagree with that. Marcel isn't even her "love interest" anymore. Just a on and off fling with a long history. But i really feel TPTB strayed away from that with them this season. Besides Rebekah, well she just commited suicide, and is jumping back into her old body, that's a dead giveaway right there. The common, "She comes back, he dies". Then you have Davina moving up in the ranks, her story becomes bigger, his becomes smaller, with her being "all powerful and mighty" she doesn't need Marcel. Oh and let's not forget, she's planning on bringing Kol back. Another person that may come back, and if he does, he'll be taking Marcel's place. Then Marcel is also the "son of Klaus" There's always a family sacrifice, not to mention, more pain to the main villain in every way possible. Also Elijah could go after Marcel too for Klaus killing Gia, OR Dahlia could when she finds out Klaus betray her. I'll even throw Freya in there, since she's against Klaus also.

    Soo yeah there's a lot stacked against him.
