The Frankenstein Code - Ordered to Series by FOX
May 8, 2015
Pilot Shows Second ChanceThe Frankenstein Code centers on Jimmy Pritchard (Rob Kazinsky), a morally corrupt retired cop, is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose. Dilshad Vadsaria, Adhir Kalyan, Tim DeKay and Ciara Bravo co-star.
Guy who wrote Life with Damian Lewis? I'm so in. This sounds like a way more fun and interesting procedural than Rosewood.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the pilots i am still not decided about. Trailer will probably help. But i am very happy for Ciara Bravo
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly I really dig the title. We'll see what the promo reveals.
ReplyDeleteMinority Report and Lucifer should arrive any minute.
ReplyDeleteOmg he's in it? I love him. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of procedurals though. I need a trailer to decide on this one I think.
ReplyDeleteDamn it, I'm not interested but Tim DeKay's in it.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the welcoming committee? :P ;) :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe premise just makes me laugh but who knows with Fox, Sleepy Hollow sounded stupid and S1 was great.
ReplyDeleteI am not sold outright on the premise. Will wait and see.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, I actually liked what I read of the script so I was hoping for this.
ReplyDeleteNot interested in this.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds more procedural-ish than Sleepy Hollow when it first started.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it could go either way. But Rand Ravich makes it sound more encouraging.
ReplyDeleteFOX is sure taking their time with Minority Report.
ReplyDeleteI think the premise would be interesting on cable, serialized and the character was not solving crimes for the FBI.
ReplyDeleteI don't like that it is taking this long.
ReplyDeleteIt should be arriving any minute now.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting.
ReplyDeletePart of me thinks they're going to reveal it when CBS/NBC makes their announcements to try and steal their thunder.
ReplyDeleteI 100% need trailer for this one.
ReplyDeleteyeah which never fills me with joy
ReplyDeleteYou're beginning to sound like a herald now.
ReplyDelete:P
Please don't take offense. Just good natured ribbing.
As I wrote before, I'd be shocked if Frankenstein isn't paired with Sleepy Hollow. They seem like perfect matches.
ReplyDeleteVery possible. It also gives them time to rethink adding Code to the name. It's not really needed.
ReplyDeleteI think the idea is that it lets viewers know it's inspired by Frankenstein, but not a direct adaptation.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteSadly, he burst into flames. ;) :)
ReplyDeleteWho else is still in disbelief over last night?
ReplyDeleteThis guy
ReplyDeleteThey've been screwing around with the name for awhile. I did a conceptual survey for Fox for it. Part of their problem with calling it 'Frankenstein' is that it's not really accurate to the story of Frankenstein. The guy who revives the dead is Dr. Frankenstein, the guy he revives is Frankenstein's Monster. This story is about a guy who is in the situation of Frankenstein's Monster, so they need something that gets that point across, so you don't think it's, like, a medical drama about a doctor creating zombies or something.
ReplyDeleteThat said 'The Frankenstein Code' is pretty bad. But at least, uh, more accurate?
I was so pissed. Then again,Jason is even hotter. So,i guess it evens out in the end.LOL!
ReplyDeletePreach!!!
ReplyDeleteOk now I get it lol, I thought they meant a specific announcement.
ReplyDelete@Mr. Edmodo has still not accepted the renewal of Galavant and American Crime. He is in denial phase now. :P ;) :)
ReplyDeleteOmg I forgot about American Crime. Maybe CBS will top both of them and renew Battle Creek!

ReplyDeleteBut he's Kat Slater's long lost son!
ReplyDeleteHmm, could be interesting! I'll wait for the trailer to decide for certain.
ReplyDeleteI miss Proteus so much.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least it's not just called "Frankenstein" anymore.
