Update: 21:39 It seems that the show is being shopped around.
We’re told studio Warner Bros. is ready to search for a new home for the series. While there have been rumors that Hulu—which streams previous episodes of The Following and is also considering rescuing Fox’s The Mindy Project—is a candidate, we’re told the streaming outlet is unlikely to rescue the dark drama.

ReplyDeleteHoped they would do a small season to wrap up the story. But seems like Fox doesn't do that.
This is very sad, but it was expected. I love the show so I will miss it. I have liked all seasons but I will always cherish the especially great memories of Season 1 with me. Haters are gonna hate but I loved my show and I am glad for the episodes we got.

ReplyDeleteI know right? FOX seems to be the less organized at doing this. Everything comes with huge gaps and in no orders (pickups, cancellations, renewals). Quite crazy
ReplyDeleteWasn't the plan for it to run for 3 seasons anyways? I haven't even started season 3 yet. I was gonna just binge watch them all at once on the DVR in the summer but now I might just delete them now and buy the Blu-Ray at a later date. Is it worth saving for a later date?
ReplyDeleteYep. 3 times this season. They are burning off the episodes like no other. They could've used the late start to test the show for summer or something, but not this.

ReplyDeleteThis was my first procedural, it was bloody amazing in the beginning. Season 2 came along and sucked so much,season 3 I couldn't get in to. You won't be missed,sad for the remaining fans tho.

I just want to thank The Following for helping me get through so much. The Following has always been my favorite thing in the whole world and I don't care what any haters say. The Following has gotten me through some hard times and has always helped me! I have always been obsessed with this show and will continue to watch all the seasons over the years. Thank you so much The Following. You will be missed tremendously :(
